It’s crazy to imagine that Ms. Goldenweek’s powers to hypnotize people with her paint is NOT a Devil Fruit power believe it or not. It’s a pretty wacky ability a character can obtain without eating a Devil Fruit and you’ll see other characters that can do pretty insane things without fruits here. It’s pretty strange that she can somehow hypnotize people when they can’t even see the paint sometimes like when she paints the back of Luffy’s shirt. It’s a paint in the ass to think about.

#SundayRundown #OnePiece I was always confused by Miss Goldenweek's age as well. Is she a child, or a very small adult woman? Perhaps a dwarf? The trailer for OPLA season 2 didn't help matters since it appears they cast an average size adult to play her; unless the trailer is hiding how small she is in the actual show. I just remember one shot in the trailer where she's leaning down looking at Luffy, and I'm like "That doesn't seem right." 😆

She’s apparently supposed to be 16 years old in the actual series/manga. She definitely looks younger than other characters the same age as her.

Fun fact, lots of the giants in the series are named after wrestlers! Broggy is named after Bruiser Brody and Dorry is named after Dory Funk Jr. Keep an eye out for the references whenever you see a new giant! Most of them will be older wrestlers, so you might not catch them, but some will be more modern ones too! Also these aren't the only wrestling references in the series either, Oda is a big wrestling fan, so there's loads more beyond just the giant's names - but I'll cover them when we get there! (reposted from last week since there was no #SundayRundown and I thought that as two wrestling fans, Rana and Suraj would appreciate this lol.)

The Indestructible Usopp with Karoo is the perfect pair, and I love that Ms. Golden Week is a super example that Luffy can't always gum gum punch his enemies easily.

Ms. Goldenweek's powers have always been confusing to me. Oda confirming in a SBS that she's not a devil fruit user makes it more confusing. If you tell me her powers work by using drugs mix with paint, I believe it, since Oda has refused to give a straight answer about her abilities since she first showed up in the manga.

Michael Acuna

I would think it's similar to Jango's powers, lol.

In the manga mr. 3 uses daggers made of wax to stab into the giant. The anime tones down some of the more brutal panels.

Yeah the anime censored 2 things from the manga. First Mr. 3 makes giant wax swords to impale each of Brogy’s hands and feet. You know when Luffy broke the wax pillar by spinning on Brogy’s horn on his helmet at 20:30? Well in the manga, Luffy instead spins around a wax sword that’s impaled in Brogy’s hand, which moves the sword around and hurts Brogy in the process. Glad the anime changed that part tbh.

NICE THE NORMIE PIRATES HAVE THEIR OWN JOLLY ROGER NOW!!!
