Your commitment to getting the Sunday Rundown down is admirable! Commendable! Praiseworthy! Downright Impressive. Especially on a Sunday night. About Batman Beyond, I don't think you guys realize the weirdness of Bruce dating Barbara Gordon/Batgirl. Dick Grayson, Bruce's adopted son dated Barbara for years. They broke up, and Barbara got together with Bruce. He's dating his adopted son's ex!!!! Not only that, but Bruce was like a mentor to Batgirl and the Robins. And also Jim Gordon is Bruce's coworker. Would you date your coworker's daughter in secret? Who your adopted son also dated? That's what "Gremmy Thoumeaux"s comment was trying to get across.

I fucking LOOOOOOOATHE the Bruce/Barbara relationship. It feels so incestuous and so inappropriate. Like Bruce Timm and the creators were working out their own weird fetish with that relationship 🤢🤮 I personally want to Neuralize myself so that I never remember that bullshit 😭

For the Barbara/Bruce dating stuff, you guys focussed way too much on her being Jim's daughter and not enough on the real reason it's icky - that Barbara dated Dick, who is kinda like Bruce's son. This isn't even mentioning either that Batman is kind of like a dad/father figure to all of the Batfamily, including Barbara. There's no incest, sure, but it's just a weird dynamic man lol.

I'm just here to comment that I (and the VAST MAJORITY OF PEOPLE) hate the idea of shipping Bruce and Barbara. It's barely acceptable in the Lego Batman Movie.(I know they're all adults at that point but still, no thank you) It sucks in this universe. It really, really sucks in the animated Killing Joke Movie. I just don't want to think about it or experience it for the rest of my days on this earth. Oh, and I'll just drop this great nugget of info; in the batman beyond 2.0 comic, it is revealed that Barbara got pregnant with Bruce's child and then had a miscarriage fighting a random thug in the street. https://www.reddit.com/r/batman/comments/10zs0f8/reminder_that_this_happened_batman_beyond_20/ Now, this was written over 10 years after the show had ended, and over 7 years since the DCAU ended and basically had none of the original creators involved in the writing department, but still it sucks.

Holy shit THAT'S where that infamous page is from?? I always see it but I never knew it was from the DCAU comics, bleh. I really need to get round to reading them at some point, heard most of it is actually pretty good, even if not necessarily canon lol.

The Bruce & Barbra relationship is weird cause Barbra dated Dick Grayson for years before they broke up & Dick is dating Starfire in Teen titans. Bruce dating Barbra after that break up is weird especially the age gap it doesn’t matter that Barbra is a legal adult Bruce is like 40 compared to her when she’s early 20’s
