Just in time for dinner 👍🏻🌸

* Rose *

I can't imagine being Maggie, not being able to do anything while the people you care about are out there, unable to protect them or even be with them, has to be one of the hardest kinds of helplessness.

Hershel makes me cry so much this season. GOAT

courtney 🧚🏽‍♀️

“you have got to be kidding me” same tom same 🙄 when i saw the governor i was sooo irritated lol but i LOVE this episode it’s one of my favs. hershel really is the goat. seeing carl handle business. rick being conflicted but also proud because his son can handle himself but also he still wants him to be a kid, just sucks bc he really can’t in this world.

"Why don't they just burn the walkers around the fence?" There's a couple of reasons. First fuel like gasoline is in pretty short supply by now and once it's gone, it's gone. No one is making more gasoline and gas goes bad after awhile. By now there's a 50/50 chance that anything that's been sitting in a car's fuel tank is worthless so they have to conserve. Second, walkers are attracted to the light and noise of fire. Setting the walkers at the prison on fire creates a very real risk of drawing even more and making the problem worse. Third, fire doesn't always kill walkers (remember the ones in the pit after Milton torched them, still growling and reaching ). Even if it does kill them it takes awhile, and they don't just stand around while they're on fire. They don't even notice. And the prison is surrounded by grassy fields and forest. That highly flammable forest is a big part of their food source. If it burns, people starve. So, no, just settling them on fire is definitely not the best idea.

The walking dead is my favorite of your reactions. Followed closely by Dexter. I also really enjoyed your Joker reaction.

So much death and trauma...then we get lulled into a false sense of security with tasty peas and camaraderie, then BOOM governor is back yall 😭😭😭

Tom is saw you bobbing your head to that chewn, it’s called oats in the water by Ben Howard

Daniel Burnham

I forgot how amazing the dramatic parts with Herschel are here. The framing, him pacing himself, him still keeping everyone’s faith going. And then that conversation with Rick. Where they just talk about how things ARE. How they have been changed by the pure tragedy of their lives

Daniel Burnham

Also that this is Carl like becoming a man by accepting the slow responsibility of being around and showcasing like the value of soft power

Hershel the fucking MVP

Wednesday can't be here soon enough

Jajaja seeing the governor right at the end is so infuriating

Harry

Ur intro dance is unmatched 😂😂❤️

Harley

As a first time watcher, not surprised to see The Governer at the end there. I suspected him to be one riling up the walkers. Using the walkers for his own ends are definetly his MO.

Whenever you think the crisis is over and you start getting the feeling to be able to breathe again the next disaster is just around the corner… 😱

The scene where Hershel has to put his first corpse down and the song they use hits so deeply. And then the episode comes in with the double whammy of using the song once again as Hershel breaks down. Maggie is such a strong woman, she was willing to stay there with Rick and focus on the fence and Rick knew that. I think him thinking to bring Carl in to help was an ingenious way to address the emergency and still let Maggie potentially go save her husband. Also yeah I was so angry to see the Governor return and soil the ending of this episode. He really sours it so well DX

Tom’s out here looking fly this episode!

My dumbass woulda stopped to save those dogs at the beginning that were eating the walker. 😅😅😅 Daryl could train them to hunt.

Heather

your reaction to the Governor's appearance at the end has SENT ME INTO ORBIT, just the absolute DISDAIN 😭😭😭🤣

Dee D

😂😂😂😂 "They're all dead"

I think it's stupid that Rick waited until the walkers busted through the fence before deciding to shoot them. 🙄 Ten minutes sooner and he could've saved the fence. It was obvious they were gonna come through it. *sigh*

Sad

20:00 is Ben Howard! Awesome! Saw him live last year.
