Hey everyone, it's Bonus Dose Day, and it's a sequel to a video that a lot of people seemed to enjoy at the tail-end of 2024. It's time to look at (and laugh at) the culinary monstrosities that America's ballparks have to offer fans this year. Enjoy!

The Baseball season has just begun, and ballparks have continued to pair up both of America's favorite pastimes, "watching a kinda slow sport" and "eating more food in 3 hours than anyone should ever consume in a week". Buckley looks at some of the more absurd offerings for 2026, including a gallon of Nachos, a 2 foot long Quesadilla called "The Machete", and the controversial "9-9-9 Challenge".

What is it with America making fast food like they have free healthcare? This shit doesn't make me hungry, it makes me think "that's a heart attack and a half waiting to happen"

Conor Frederick

The teams that suck have to get people in the ballpark somehow lol. I’d bet there a a few people that go to games just to try the crazy shit they sell 😂😂😂

To explain the White Sox pizza, Chicago is also known for their Italian beef sandwiches(if you've ever been to Portillo's) and they decided to combine the two. Honestly, it's both brilliant and disgusting which is also what Chicago is known for.

I think the challenge with the beers and hot dogs is try not to poop in your shorts.

American here, Texan to be more specific, even these look gross to me. At least at the Dodgers game you get a neat cup souvenir instead of high cholesterol. 😂

With the pitch clock, doing the 9-9-9 challenge is even harder. That made the game much faster so you don't get any rest before you gotta go another round

My god, it’s all so gluttonous, and I’d hate to eat this at a sporting event… but I’d totally like to do a holiday in America and try all of this in a diner

Yeah, you basically have 2 and a half hours. With the ABS challenges, maybe slightly closer to 3 hours now. If you're doing full beers, never mind the alcohol (it's not a lot, but more than you should drink if you're driving) it's just a lot of liquid. Add on the hot dogs and you're just a bloated mess.

Food should absolutely come in tower form. Wish we had this sort of food at the footy instead of just the standard meat pie and chips. Finally, I could do the 999 challenge - the biggest challenge there would be sitting through a game of baseball.

As a born and raised Chicagoan, youre pronunciation of giardiniera is spot on

Curiosity made me look up the actual price of the Dodgers Watermelon Habanero Margarita. $75

A Dose of Buckley

Haha really?! Man I'd have to be already drunk before paying that (that'd be over $100 Canadian for one drink).

Chris Lawrence

The “real” challenge sounds like a recipe for sickness and making it everyone else’s problem that you over ate and got drunk when you puke on them.

I'd say I'm shocked, but that would be a lie.

Ah I went to my first minor league baseball game in over 15 years last Friday. For a minor league game you're paying 8 bucks for a plastic glass of beer. I'd imagine at a major league game you're paying quite a bit more- catching a buzz would probably cost about 50 at very least. Also you aren't allowed to buy anymore beer after 7th inning. That 9 for 9 bs ruined that for sure. Not many people will be alright after downing 9 dogs and 9 beers in a 3 hour period likely exploding from all ends
