NOTE: It's the first of the month, and we have some RARE tiers open! Two slots available in the "Signature Dose" tier, if you'd like a signed script of one of your favorite videos (with a doodle on it too!) And one slot available in the almost-never-open "One-on-One Dose" tier, a call with me!
Hey everyone, it's Bonus Dose Day, and it's my SECOND Musical Autopsy: Cold Case of the summer! Let me know if you like these, I might do more songs from 1997 next year (as part of the 30th anniversary of the year I've referred to as "the worst year for music"), or maybe I'll start doing songs from the years just before A Dose of Buckley, like say... all the songs I missed in 2009. Anyway, enjoy!
Doc Buckley digs up another musical corpse, this time it's the Mighty Mighty Bosstones' "The Impression That I Get". You know how you'll hear a song a hundred times, but you never really LISTENED to it? That's what happened here! Buckley dissects the very strange lyrics about a man wondering if he'd be able to deal with a tragedy, set to very upbeat horns. Also, we found out the answer to "how would MMBs lead singer Dicky Barrett deal with tragedy" about 25 years later...
