Hey everyone, it's Bonus Dose Day! Did you have a good Labor Day weekend? Did you use it to, I don't know, go watch a movie? Say, a movie that "EVERYONE" wanted to save? This week's Extra Dose brings closure to a story this channel has been following for about 3 years now. Enjoy!

Buckley loves to say "I told you so", but can he admit when he's wrong? We find out as we look at the release of "Coyote vs ACME", the movie that was once scheduled to be deleted, and after 3 years of drama was finally released. Did it prove that the masses hunger for more Looney Tunes? OR in Buckley's own words from his original video on this subject, "do the business people know more about business than Twitter"?

Was I Wrong About Coyote vs ACME? (Extra Dose)

One small correction is that they did sell the rights to another company in Canada called VVS Films, they release indie movies and they also have the rights to the new Shaun the Sheep movie

I find it funny that people argue about this shit. Then again, people will argue about anything that’s a complete waste of time. Will I see this movie? I have no idea. Looney Toons just don’t interest me anymore.

Well, Looney Tunes came out in 1930, which is 29 years before my old ass was born. Most of the best stuff predates me with the Rabbit Season, Duck Season trilogy starting in 1951. Making full length Looney Tunes movies now is a terrible idea. I have grandchildren who have no idea who these characters are. So why bother?

As much as the movie was fun to watch, yeah... WB got the better end of the deal

Interesting, that means that a portion of the North American box office is also relatively irrelevant to them too (roughly 8 - 10%, because it all gets included in the US box office totals too). Can't imagine they got much for that...

Just for fun, I ran a poll with 100 students aged 15-19 when your first video came out. NONE of them knew any of the Looney Tunes, except for a few that recognised Bugs Bunny. That says one of the reasons why these movies are flopping. They’ve all seen them, but they don’t know who they are or have any connection to it.

Just got out from seeing it today. As good as it is, it screams Batman The Mask of Phantasm/MOTU to me. A movie that is probably going to do better once it hits streaming. The fact that it is good and word of mouth seems to be helping it is enough for me.

Personally I blame Looney Tunes not airing consistently on television for the better part of 20 years, that might have something to do with it not being all that relevant with younger generations. Zoomers (my age demographic) are more likely to care about 2011's The Looney Tunes Show than the original shorts because that's what aired on Cartoon Network in the early 2010s. Adding Looney Tunes to Tubi this year feels a bit too little too late.

Must feel good to be right. I personally loved the movie, but I went to see it with a third date in t shirt and shorts. It was freezing so I asked if the date could hold my hand for warmth, then later asked if I could do the yawn arm around thing because I was still freezing to death. She said no and then sent me many paragraphs about how she is only looking for friends who will then step up to become her boyfriend but she needs to discover herself. I had to ghost. I very much enjoyed the movie regardless, you should see watch it.

are we going to ignore wabbit and the new loony toons show?
