Hey everyone, it's Early Access Day! And today it's one of those classic-style Buckley videos where I educate about 60% of my audience about a person they've never heard of, while the other 40% enjoys the cathartic feelings that come with me mocking someone they already greatly dislike. Enjoy!

Buckley's on-going mission to keep you from living under a rock leads us to Stella Lefty, the newest pop-country sensation whose song "Boston" has spent a few weeks at #2 on Billboard. But it turns out it's a ripoff? And 2 of her other songs are ALSO blatantly stolen? AND she's a Nepo baby whose rich daddy bought her a career? Let's explore all of that!

This is gonna be North West in a few short years!

A Dose of Buckley

Yeah what an absolute nightmare that child is gonna be... going to be the benchmark for failed parenting.

Matthew Bolin

Oh Buckley, you finished this video way too soon! Her plagiarized song charges are now up to five (with the possibility of a sixth). Her song 'seven eleven' has been accused of ripping off Wheatus' 'Teenage Dirtbag (which she HAS performed on her TikTok in the past), and her ‘Misery’ apparently sounds like ‘A Million Dreams’ from The Greatest Showman soundtrack of all things. AND a reviewer of her recent show in Syracuse wrote: “when I heard the opening chords of ‘Something to Lose’ I recognized it as Jason Isbell’s ‘Children of Children’.”

Thanks for prying me out from under my rock with your powerful lever of American end times culture Buckley!

A Dose of Buckley

Yeah, I heard about the 4th and went "Well that's fine, that gives people in-the-know something to comment about in the comments section" and then the 5th one got mentioned today and I thought "well, the video will be out of date but I guess it'll prove my point!"

Pim

I actually really like Stick Season. Got some pretty lines in it. These are both very much supermarket radio songs though.

Adam F

Very timely George W. Bush reference 😀

TheWebMachine

Are you allergic to video's over 10 minutes? 😝

Matthew Bolin

This is true. At this point, she should’ve probably just been a cover artist. As you basically said, it’s not like she NEEDS the songwriting royalties!

Justin Hudson

9/11 joke on 9/11. Five stars! Also, dont hate on Groupon! If you are a traveller, you can get some really awesome deals with Groupon. It almost always has heavily discounted prices on museums and outdoor activities! Also also, Stick Season is a guilty pleasure song of mine

J-mann

She already is she’s just turned 13 this year feeling old! 😬

Aaron Rainer

Ok, I think I need that "Buckley NOOOO" on my phone, would make a funny as hell msg tone.

Ash Archer

And I thought the 2010s were going to be the low point for music. The era of streaming, TikTok hooks, generative AI music and “safe pop” is now just butchers hacking at the corpse of the industry.

A Dose of Buckley

Yeah that was a complete accident, I swear! made this video last Sunday and didn't even think about when it would actually go up.

A Dose of Buckley

I nailed this one, 10 on the dot! There was nothing more to say about her (ever, I'll probably never mention her again)

Adam F

🤣

The Kitchen Stink

A Botchamania reference in a Buckley video... JEEZUS!

Shumiry

The "crippling debt running up to stab you if you fail" had me laughing out loud. Brilliantly put, sir.
