Tastykakes is also an American snack brand like Little Debbie. It's a double pun!

The BBC’s A Year in Provence, starring John Thaw, is remembered as one of the more notorious television disappointments of the early 1990s. But few people know that, for Thaw, it was actually one of the happiest productions of his career. Unlike his usual punishing schedule, Thaw never worked an eleven-day fortnight on Provence, meaning his weekends were his own. On two of them he travelled up to Paris for what he later described as “a long lunch, even by French standards”, interviewing André the Giant about his remarkable childhood in rural France. There was a reason for Thaw’s interest. Buried in his BBC contract was an unusual clause. If A Year in Provence was commissioned for a second series, the BBC would also commission a one-off drama written by Thaw about the unlikely friendship between André the Giant and Samuel Beckett, who famously drove the young André to school because he was too large for the local bus. Thaw intended to play Beckett himself, with André appearing as his adult self. The contract was signed. André was enthusiastic. For Thaw, a passion project years in the making was finally within reach. But then A Year in Provence aired. The reception was famously hostile. A second series never happened and, with it, Thaw’s André and Beckett project disappeared. To make matters worse, the BBC retained the rights to his script. Thaw was furious and privately vowed never to work for the BBC again. André died in Paris in January 1993, never getting the opportunity to see the film made. Friends later claimed that Thaw never truly forgave the BBC, not for the failure of A Year in Provence, but for denying him the chance to play Samuel Beckett opposite André the Giant. As Thaw allegedly put it: “He only knew me as bloody Morse. I wanted André to see my range.”

So I’d like to address some of the questions you had regarding the quantity and quality of the ejaculate after a vasectomy. It can be a subject where childish innuendo and misguided word of mouth confuses the facts and men are unable to make sensible decisions about their reproductive health, as someone who’s had the operation I get tell you that still I cum buckets and buckets. I’m sure which ever council cleaner goes in after me is impressed with the coverage I’ve achieved.

In summary; Jizz, boobs, Owen's death, and shit cunt. Botty bot bot too!

‘Forgive me for being crass’… after a solid five of Visceral/Perry Saturn banging. Some of us listen to this with our kids! (Not me, but I’d guess someone does)

Skippa

As a Vasecte-Man, I can confirm that we release one trout-sized lifeless sperm once a month. It is a pleasureless and exhausting experience.

Rusch Rosenberger

Getting a vasectomy is best boiled down this way. Its like an Amazon warehouse with nothing in it. We are shipping empty boxes all day, everyday.

The dog house in Cleveland mentioned by Jerry Lawler is refernece to the a section of the Cleveland Brown fans called the dog pound.

Was a choice for me to leave this to listen to while I have lunch. One hell of an opening before the wrestling

I’m sure Marty Jannetty shouts “aaaaaaaagh shit” in a squash match against Ludwig Borga when he gets lobbed in the air at a summerslam one year

Daniel Johnson

I don’t know where it goes but yeah it’s more like watery value porridge than proper curdle 👍

I sincerely hope you do Wrestle Me forever and ever but a very funny way to "end" the show would be for one of you to quit and just start the entire thing over from the beginning with some other guy who doesn't know about wrestling. Either version of this is funny, but I especially like imagining Marc with some new guy and reusing as many of the same jokes as possible and getting annoyed when they don't land as well as they did with Pete.

Adam Watts

£8 for listening to a discussion about Vicera's 'vast' deferens while eating my morning porridge seems about right to me.

Ross Pollard

Bit coincidental they start by talking about price rises then finish with Pete paying for a new arse. But that’s the content we want

RIP rovert/sodutw one of the iwc posters who made the space a better place. Sure he wound me up at times, but really sad we won't get to hear his snarky comments anymore

Did the Mariah May v Toni Storm video get deleted from the youtube?

WrestleMe's steady price point replaced the comfort that was lost when the £9.99 WWE Network went away
