In “The Heirs of the Dragon,” King Viserys I Targaryen commands the realm from the Iron Throne, desperate for a male heir. The Great Council and court politics swirl after tragedy strikes: his hopes are shattered when Queen Aemma goes into a perilous childbirth, and both mother and newborn perish. As grief and power collide, Viserys, by painful necessity, names his daughter Rhaenyra as heir. Meanwhile, his volatile brother Daemon makes bold and brutal moves in King’s Landing—jousting, violence, and defiance undercutting familial loyalty. Watch Arianna and Maple react to royal births and deaths, shifting legacies, and the blazing tension that promises more than just dragons—this is the start of something dangerous.
