The idea of a clip show with clips from episodes we never saw was such a good one. The fact that they get increasingly insane made it even better. The Jeff/Annie montage to music was an in-joke about a fan who made a very early 'shipper video about them, set to that song, where the only material they had to go on were looks and tiny moments. Dan Harmon spent about $50k of his own money to buy the rights to that song for the episode, just so he could replicate it.

When Troy got hurt about the sugar foot comment my mind thought that Shirley was calling Troy sugar foot off screen as a nickname just to find out it’s her husbands nickname, maybe since she wasn’t with him she was calling Troy that, just my thought
