You're right 10 episode seasons is way to short. I miss the 20-25 episode seasons from the 90s.

Such a fun episode. Liked the slightly darker uniforms. The blue Orions are from the 70s Animated Series. The guy that picked the colours for the show was colour blind. Not sure why the pronounced it Oree-ons though. They had the goofy uniforms. It was the 70s lol. Thought it was pretty clever to make them canon on the show. The green Orions originated on TOS.

The blue Uhreons (🤷) are from the original 70's animated where the art was funky & pronunciation depended on who was being recorded, I don't think any of the actors were recorded together. "There are no interpersonal conflicts on my ship" is a reference to Gene Roddenberry's instruction for TNG which was a real headache for the writers at the time, they ended up just straight up ignoring some of his more out there (for the time) notes.

Green Orions are one of the oldest alien species in Trek. I think only Vulcans have been around for longer. An Orion (technically) appeared in "The Cage", the pre-Original Series pilot episode, which was recycled into the TOS episodes "The Menagerie" parts 1 and 2.

Thanks to uncommon precedence, I'm going to continue to live in denial about the end of this show for a very long time -- unless they bring it back first, which is what I know for sure will definitely possibly happen.

Dreading the end of the series is something we all experienced <3 I liked the subtle differences there were between the two universes like the alt Cerritos uniforms, interiors, ship hulls (I think) and event PADDs being slightly darker colors

while I hope they would bring it back, the idea also scare me. Futurama was never the same after its cancelation, it was like some kind of momentum was lost and the show never quite found its footing again.

The 3 parter's as you say, Poor (but kept the franchise alive) . But when they got a new episodic series it really was back in style. Like Red Dwarf managed imo.
