Starbuck has felt disconnected from herself since she's come back. But here, protecting Galactica, she feels the most alive. This episode brings back SO MANY minor characters. Poor Laird, watches Pegasus officers gun down his family to force him to join the Pegasus, only to get killed by a revolution-crazed deposed VP with a wrench. Racetrack, who was standing RIGHT NEXT to Boomer when she shot Adama, turns coat. Narcho and Gage (aka, one of the Pegasus Perverts - the other musta died or sumthing) both from Pegasus, gladly go along with the mutiny. Connor, whose 7 year old son died on New Caprica, because of humans who collaborated with Cylons, he's not gonna forget that. Seelix, oh Seelix. The only minor character to survive that crash landing on Kobol, and the one who found Dee, clearly still traumatized. Jaffee, who was the Private that brought Adama his coffee back in "A Day in the Life," died protecting his Admiral. There are so many minor reoccuring characters in this show, and regardless of how you feel about their actions, I think it's amazing how the show gives them all moments to shine. Alas, Paula missed that one of Balfar's flock is named "Paula." Finally, just to be clear, even though these Cylons now want peace, they still committed genocide against humanity. ALL Cylons, carried out that attack. The rebels aren't innocent of that. Here's a hypothetical question: It's 1949. You are Jewish. Your water heater is busted. Winter will be soon, you'll freeze without it. It's also something that could blow up and destroy your house and kill you if set up wrong. Do you let the Nazi that says they've reformed, and are the best water heater repairman in the area, work on it? What if the municiple government said you HAD to let him fix it? Would you feel like sitting down to talk it out with them?

Tension upon tension. It's great TV but not fun living it. Will the Make Galactica Great Again mob prevail? Or will justice triumph against disorder? All I know is that all this has happened before and will happen again. Let's enjoy the ride!

I had a dream a while back that Barack Obama was president. So I would have to say that is may favorite fictional president. Wish I could just will dreams to come back....

John

I always liked Racetrack and was really disappointed when she joined the uprising.

John

What's this? Insightful logic? Unpossible! ;)

Nolan

Perhaps, though I would expect a well-thought out and considered rebuttal to include citation and exploration of Operation: Paperclip in the face of mounting Cold War aggression and the exploration of its parallels to this situation as well.

Troy Convers

Great attention to detail that the minor character turncoats all had reasons as to why they turned heel. Or is it tweener in this context?

Troy Convers

The inevitable outcome of when a society has been stripped of their homes, most of their society and their dignity has been eroded over time. The story of this rag-tag society would not have been complete had RDM not done this storyline. I have gripes about the story structure though; Cavill just happening to take a back seat is convenient; would have been fun to see him somehow observing it and revelling in how the humans are doing his job for him or even better, he had been pulling strings behind the scenes to get both sides to this point. My other gripe? I so wish this had been a much longer arc; a fifth season was sorely needed.

Cei Stockport

one sides made up of traitors who broke their oaths because of hatred or wanting more power and the otherside isn't. There you go, black at white.

Mark Chrisco

Racetrack looked sad to have become a traitor.

David T

Seven episodes to go. But it will be a roller coaster the entire way. Brace yourselves! But now that the entire cast is starting to declare their allegiances, we can finally start rooting for the actual good guys.

Locoturbo

AHH nice timing for this comment. Now do you mean the actress or the character? Because I was just going to post the following - I REALLY doubt this, and it was probably just handed out as decree by the writers / Moore, but I still wonder if any of the actors were given any choice or say as to which side of this mutiny they think they'd be on. And if I'd been given a choice, I'd have been on the mutineer side. Forgiving a genocide wouldn't be in my wheelhouse.

Thontor

Better communication would solve many issues in the world today, and in the show as well, but it is unfortunately very realistic that there is little to none of it, which is why things escalate the way they did in this episode.

Troy Convers

There are none in this series. They're all compromised.

Troy Convers

No it isn't. Roslyn, Gaius and Daddy Adama are on the side of the 'good guys'....
