Momoko is intensely shocked to hear about the events from Manato's past. However, she just can't believe that Manato, who suffers from remorse, is a bad person. Momoko hugs Manato and tries to be close to his painful feelings, but Manato rejects Momoko for fear of tainting her kindness. 

When Momoko returns home and sees Momoko's tear-stained face, Kazuki and the others know something is wrong between her and Manato. The next day, the three brothers accidentally run into Manato on a riverside. It's there that the four of them exchange words for the first time, and while Manato develops a fondness for the younger brothers, who are honest and kind to his sister, other feelings arise.

Although she understands Manato's feelings, Momoko, who cannot easily let go of her feelings for Manato, sends a text to him with a certain determination...
