Yeah, you already know that Phoebe's power. It's empathy. By channeling their emotions, she can channel their powers. So, she's "using" their powers by channeling their emotions.

I always found it weird that she can channel other powers. Kind of makes her OP.

I always thought it made sense in regards to other witches or maybe magical creatures, but not demons. Their whole thing is that they're supposed to be emotionless, although I'll concede that tends to be hit or miss. I'm just not sure how redirecting fireballs mid flight is logical when not even the demons themselves can do that. It would make more sense for her to make new fireballs herself but whatever

Yeah, I agree. As for demons, yeah they're emotionless, but they do have to "use" something to trigger their powers. Not love or anything like that, but something. They have to have a trigger for their powers. Like remember in season 1, Prue switched powers with that Darklighter, and his trigger was hate. So, Phoebe channels whatever they're using as a trigger for their powers. However they're controlling their powers, that's what she channels. But yes, it would make more sense for her to make fireballs instead of redirecting them 🔥😁
