This entire episode was anxiety. The music never gave a second to relax. I kind of agree with Deamon about going somewhere else for gold. Not conquering per say but find one of her enemies and take all their wealth. Lannister, Hightower, Baratheon are all enemies and rich houses. With 6 dragons take what is needed from them. With the triarchy severely weakened now the free cities would be easier target also. Cersi paid back the iron bank debt doing this. It was a bad choice to deny Corlys but i understand why and he acknowledged them 5 minutes ago and said not at this moment. She didnt say never. His pride was wounded and he lashed out but his house is not even close to the strength and wealth he once had. Alicent is expecting way too much. She and her house are still enemies. She helped take the city but the challenger is missing and able to gain power.

I was going to say!! I watched with my family and the music had us feeling anxious and uncomfortable, not a good way 🤔 but I guess they’re preparing us for things to come

Also I miss season 1, eps 6-10 alicent, and some of season2…. Don’t like the directing they’re taking with her.

21:12 soo if Valaryons aren’t dragon riders and Corlys had an affair with a common woman, how is Adam a dragon rider then??

I lost all sympathy for Alicent as a character when she sold her sons down the river for being on a path that she herself set them on. Initially instigated from Otto of course but she still had a big hand in it.

Short answer is we don't know. Every dragonrider we know of either has dragonrider blood (for example, Targareyn) or unclear ancestry. There is not a single example of a dragonrider without this blood connection and Martin has made it clear that not anyone can just claim a dragon. So I think from this it implies that Addam has dragonrider blood connection through his mother somewhere. I would also add that this is more probable given their geographical location, that being on the east coast near dragonstone/kingslanding, the hotspot for Targareyns and their dragonseeds.

The idea of Alys managing to hide Vhagar is so funny

There is almost always friction(especially in times of war) between the Faith and House Targaryen. The Targs never fully gave up their dragon gods, literally and figuratively.

55:06 If I was her I would've been so mad that I didn't think about this sooner! 😭😭 Like, what do you mean, I could've just dyed my son's hair!?!
