The Shetland Dig - Exciting things to come!🤫 (Patreon)

The trench was muddy, the weather was rough, and the barrows aren’t cooperating… but under all that, we had some very intriguing archaeology!

This is just a small glimpse behind the scenes as Matt and John head up to the spoil heap to empty their buckets and barrows.

We look forward to sharing the full episode of this very windy but exciting site early next year!

I read your comment before I'd played the video and for some reason my brain read the word "skivvying" as "skydiving" - I spent the whole first minute of the video thinking we were guna get a little clip of Jon sky diving! 😭😭😭

😂 oh lordy lordy! Somehow I can't see John Gator and skydiving in the same sentence! But I can see how you could have misread it... I always read "shopfitters" as "shoplifters" 😉
