Best update of the weeks so far. Imagery. Sounds. Atmosphere and Wise words. And no blah bah waffle cakes. Thank you

Who succeeded at the Yard of Ale? Must have been some of the teams Gambit?

Bob Greaves

Great stuff. Jackie and John have got all the moves! Could the higher GPR reading from certain stones be because of their angle in the ground, i.e. if some are laid very flat, they register more strongly than those at an angle because their response is firing more directly at the radar receptors? (totally uneducated speculation...)

Gorgeous update! Feels very emotional, well done team 👏👏👏

I enjoyed this very much. Wonderful atmosphere, everyone relaxed and enjoying themselves, plus some more intriguing insights on the excavation. I am interested in the idea of geological geofizz. Such a wonderful opportunity to participate in life at the other end of the world. Greetings and Best Wishes for the final week from Melbourne, Australia.

So lovely to see Jackie and John out having a good time. Wishing you all a great week of digging, troweling, and discovery. May it be more than you all could have hoped for!🪏💜

Michael Crouch

These updates are a lot of fun and very interesting too. Watching things unfold in real time really gives an idea of the slow and painstaking work that goes into uncovering archaeology. Love it.

Bill Dodds

The coverage of the dig has been first rate humour and information 👌 Lovely snapshot of weekend.

Anne Carpenter

What a way to start the day! I hope the week ahead brings on more fireworks and merriment. Thank you for making these wonderful updates.

Trevor Brigham

I hope the dancing makes it into the final cut of the documentary!

Menetho

Very enjoyable. Odd how people you have never actually met can become almost like "family".

Jean-Marc Gaillard

I’m really happy for the two of you that you’re having such a great time in Orkney – and I’m actually a bit jealous! I can’t wait to hear all about your discoveries!

Rick Doner

Look at Jackie and John dancing away! lol

Davey

Large cows can jump.

Felicity Fields

I loved this! Watching Jackie and John dance was so good! And Jackie's headpiece at the end is so festive.

Carl Johnson

I'm glad to see that there was some fun had and it wasn't all work, work, work. Jackie and John know how to cut a rug as they say.

Rebecca Clark

Have a wonderful last week.So great to see Jackie and John dancing and having fun in Stromness.

I will be so sad when they cover the site, even though I appreciate it is to preserve it for future generations. I can’t recall who was discussing the rings but I would like to know how our ancient forefathers spread the word so efficiently so that thousands of people came from all over the UK to help with the stones, at a time when the total population was estimated at around 10,000. Did our ancestors light bonfires or sound primitive cow horns? I believe there is proof that when they were built the population was no longer nomadic?

Brett W Walters

The friendships of all these people shines right through the screen, this is why TIME TEAM feels like a family, it is... This was so much fun to watch, what a month this has been, I cannot wait for the completed documentary to air.

Mer Joyce

That was totally adorable. Lovely to see more of the personality of the archaeologists and the town. Somehow, Jackie being a dance machine comes as no surprise.

Luke T Jacobs

Best Dig Watch EVER!!! Love to see the team - and two of my favorites - out having fun in the area and with the locals!!!
