I can't support you more then once and I can't pay anymore. Send me an email add and I will pass it on

TimeTeamOfficial

Thanks Mark, we appreciate your support. Thanks to you, Time Team is coming back! We're just sharing this with you first as a preview before it goes out to the wider public, so when it does, please like and share if you can. Best wishes from all the team.

Bob Junior

Exciting! Also thanks for the certificate. Now I just need a cool frame for it :)!

Paul Tomblin

John's beard is looking particularly epic these days. And Helen looks exactly like she did in the series.

Mark Cooke

Iv seen jhon in lord of the rings

Bart Remeeus

Are there any updates on the episode schedule on the time teams classics youtube? The episodes are the highlight of my week in these dark times.

TimeTeamOfficial

Yes, we are busy working on the next batch right now and we're pleased to say there are many more fantastic episodes coming your way on Time Team Classics very soon!

TimeTeamOfficial

There are some great episodes in there, and we hope it'll be worth the wait!

Ian Holmes

I felt the buzz of excitement amongst everyone as I watched this. I can’t believe my favourite TV show is on the way back.

Robert Wise

And … current Time Team Patrons might up their tier level on Patreon?

Bart Remeeus

i am extremely excited and filled with joy to hear this, keep up the good work and thank you for all this positivity through these dark times.

Alex Gregory

Selfishly I’m not sure I can wait until September. Just want a whole new series right now. However so excited to see where this leads and hopefully a TV deal with a company like Tony said “they were lucky with channel 4” as they wanted to keep it about the archaeology and not turn it into reality TV. Hopefully there is a TV company/channel out there that will pick TT up so we can go back to the good old days of 12ish episode a season. Praying to the Archaeological Gods.

Laura West

Please consider the Tap O'Noth site in Scotland :)

Richard Vine

A slight off message here, that's a cracking bottle of beer John has behind him!!! A lovely blonde ale

Zoe Propper

I don't do emotional, but it is very emotional having Time Team back 😀 and very exciting.

Mike Wright

Do we know the makeup of the team yet? Specifically who the presenter will be?

Steve Mikre

I love their enthusiasm towards this relaunch of Time Team...

Terri

From your new friends here in the US, you have saved us here in our lock downs at home. We have really enjoyed getting to know you all through Time Team this year. We are true fans. What a gift to watch you build the new show!!!

Tony Clayton

Sure do, they arrived about 2 weeks ago.

TimeTeamOfficial

Hi Peter, thanks for your patience. Due to the overwhelming support from everyone, we've got a lot to send out! We'll look into the status of yours and give you an update asap. Best wishes from all the team

Mike Wright

I think Alice Roberts would make a superb presenter!

Sybren Harkema

Jonathan Foyle would be excellent as a presenter

Jana

Lindybeige!

Tony Carnell

Professor Alice Roberts is an excellent suggestion 👍 I think Dan Snow would also make a great Time Team presenter

Martin Janchar

Great to see things moving forward :-). A small wish, though. Please get more trowels to sell them in shop. They don't have to be Limited edition, maybe just Time team logo and bag. Limited edition ones go much too fast, it's the second time I missed the oportunity to buy, haha..

Emma chamberlain

Anyone who has enthusiasm, asks direct and blunt questions a la tony and a genuine interest in archeology and not just wanting to do a presenting gig! Also lots of energy... 👍

Jack Webster

Any thoughts on how drones/ LIDAR could make episodes cheaper to film? (Cheaper than a helicopter that is...)

Scott Zotigh

It was brilliant to have a comedic actor rather than a professional archeologists be the viewers avatar. If Sir Robinson is not available, I hope it will be someone like him standing in for all of us.

Bron Lloyd

Presenter - Alice Roberts, Susannah Lipscombe, Lucy Worsely, Neil Oliver, Dan Snow!

Allen Micheal Hope

Mine also about 2 weeks ago, which is not bad at all considering the current state of the mail between the UK & Australia

Marilyn Holloway

I take it there won't be any more of the "just three days" ?

Allen Micheal Hope

I second Sandy Toksvig. Having watched her on QI for awhile I can't think of anybody better at asking direct & blunt questions.

Bay Creek History Detectives

Also from the U.S.A. I stumbled upon Time Team at the beginning of the pandemic. I have seen every episode at least once now. It saved my sanity :) Looking forward to new digs.

Daniel Rowley

DITTO! on the Covid salvation! A fantastic distraction from both Covid and politics here in the US.Wish I had access from the beginning .

David Boon

Bill Bailey if we are going for someone who has a brilliant mind and the capacity to make any topic entertaining.

Kay Theriault

THere's gotta be a "THREE" something.... three weeks?

A Bleese

There seem to be a lot of "secret" sites and things going on that Patreon supporters are not privy to. Should those who fund it not be given more information?

TimeTeamOfficial

Hi. Thanks for this and a great point. As we often highlight in various discussions, many sites involve extensive and ongoing negotiations with various bodies and stakeholders before we're able to reveal specific information. We're very keen to share every step of the process with you, but also have to balance this with our responsibility towards the partners we work with to make these fantastic sites happen. When we are able to share information, Patrons will be the first to know about it, and we hope you – like us – will be very excited by the developments. Best wishes from us all.

Roger Mills

Please none of the above - find someone new.

TimeTeamOfficial

It's not that the three-day format is being removed entirely – there are many benefits (both logistical and for the audience) in planning a dig around a fixed time-scale. It's more that this new approach allows greater flexibility to adapt the model as appropriate to a specific site, combined with the additional insight we can share. Whether a certain dig is three days, five days or whatever, through Patreon and YouTube, we can provide more colour in the build up to and aftermath of the dig. Some preliminary survey work on a site, for example, might allow a more targeted approach on the ground when the dig starts. Likewise, we hope to continue to build on our understanding of a site long after a dig is completed, working with local communities to create an ongoing legacy. It's a hybrid approach that will hopefully combine the best bits of the original format with the flexibility and technology of today!

Ian

I love Stewart and John's humour, so looking forward to the team coming back.

Kathryn Schauf

I join the above in my happiness to support this endeavour. You all put together a wonderfully interesting show before, about a somewhat dry subject, And I have faith you'll do it again! Thank you! I would say" just be real" but you already are to me. Keep it up! Love Carenza and Helen on the show (And Mick and Robin --will miss them). but overall- Do yer thing!

Jon Gill

Have to watched John's talk from the meet up on Lindisfarne?

Catherine Minicucci

I am a big fan of Time Team and am so happy to join this effort. Your shows are so informative and amusing with the various personalities. Speaking of personalities, I surely hope Phil Harding will join the team. He adds so much joy to the digs.

Mark Lund

yep kind of agree. They are all great presenters but all archaeologists/historians/etc..perhaps another 'lay' person to ask the things we..sorry, I mean I, might ask or wonder at...being a definite lay person. That said, I cant think of anyone!

Mark Lund

And we/they certainly dont want treasure hunters out there trashing a site before hand, that we have been involved in getting excavated.

Bron Lloyd

It has to be someone who is confident in front of the camera and who can inject a bit of humour - and they have to be fit! (I mean healthily fit, not the other kind). Nah I’m sticking with my suggestions above.

Bron Lloyd

We trust you! I’ve actually just upped my subscription tier as I was missing a lot of the discussion in the ‘digger’ tier.

Bron Lloyd

Same here - nice surprise!

Frank Hoeppel

As a high-risk individual, COVID has been particularly isolating for me. How fortunate I feel to have happened onto the Time Team channel - running out of episodes! - and now able to support its return. Thank you all for your commitment.

John White

So happy to see so many of my Time Team favourite faces. Hope Phil Harding will be back on board too.

A Bleese

I fully understand the need for confidentiality and I thank you for your reply. It must be a difficult balance to reach. I have been a fan of Time Team for 27 years and will continue to support its return. I hope there might be other ways to become involved as this new iteration of Time Team progresses.

Ken Hatch

Just became a supporter, super excited to have Time Team back! One of my favorite shows of all time! More science more better! I can't even watch fiction without cringing, shows like this are all I really have for entertainment, which for me requires learning something or doing something. I seem to get no enjoyment from watching someone else act a role someone else wrote in the way a 3rd person would like them to based on the wishes of a group of jerks running a studio... its just to convoluted and complicated, I'm over that crap gimme some science or history, or BOTH!

Edward Catalano

I never thought this would happen. I'm so glad to be a part of this! When this show went off the air in the USA on Discovery, at least for me, in 2005 I was upset. Here and there I was able to get a glimpse of some bootleg episodes on Youtube later from other fans of the show. This is the best!

cole hebden

Just found time team last year on Amazon Prime Video and fell in love with it. what wonderful chemistry between the entire team (at least on camera lol) y'all like your pints a bit. I am glad to be a new supporting member. I have had a love for history and archeology since I was a wee lad about yeah high to a grasshopper's knee. always wanted to do archeology, but cannot find the funds for schooling. Am eagerly awaiting what happens next. am almost done watching season 19, and am so glad that the story is going to be ongoing. Safe digging y'all! (watch out for those venomous salamanders, they are real ankle biters! lol

Ian

No I haven't, I must.
