We've got a lot of new content coming up very soon... and we really do mean A LOT!

As well as new digital data mapping on both sites (courtesy of Pete Spencer), we have brand new interviews with Stewart, Carenza and other specialists – not forgetting the full site preview of the Iron Age Settlement.

We also have some wider developments and announcements to update you on over the next few weeks.

Carenza will be taking a closer look at the Roman Villa site, sharing fascinating insights into the strategic process of a professional archaeologist. Look out for our in-depth chat over the next week. In the meantime, here's Carenza telling us what she finds particularly exciting about the site.

Steve Mikre

Carenza's enthusiasm is very contagious...

Don Cook

i'm loving her linkage of the Brexit disaster with the ending of wealthy periods in English history ... in both cases the people-who had no hand in the fall - are left trying to live with the mess.

Amy Fisher

The parallel is fascinating. Is it possible Carenza can either be set up with a better microphone or provide her a carpet for that room to deaden the echo?

Robert Wise

Thank you Carenza! It’s beginning to sound like we may see a bit more detail come out of future digs!

Donna Oglesby

Thank you, first off to Carenza, for sharing an update, but with all the Roman Villas or would be Villas on past digs, I am wondering as to where [ Location ] She is talking about so I can follow along a bit more:-)

TimeTeamOfficial

Hi Donna, apologies for the confusion. Carenza is talking specifically about the Roman villa on the Broughton Estate, Oxfordshire, that Time Team will be digging this year. We will be sharing the full, extensive chat with Carenza here on Patreon shortly.

Laura Ann Flynn

Thank-you, Carenza! We share your excitement about this Roman villa dig. We love that Time Team is bringing history back to life again!
