Our Roman villa is a site on a grand scale and it sits within a vast landscape. Thankfully the team at Cycling Sports Group UK have lent us a couple of e-bikes to help us get around the site!

Stewart can often be seen exploring the countryside on two wheels, so keep a look out for members of the team meandering across the landscape during the dig.

What a great idea!

Will the boys need their credit cards on hand?

Do you also have upright bikes, where the cyclist is sitting upright? Especially for Stewart that would be so much more comfortable and practical. It makes it easier to look at the landscape and have a carrier on the steering wheel for maps and other papers. Just wondering as a Dutch person.

Pamela Brotherton

Those bikes will definitely make the job easier.

Probably depends a bit on where on the site they want to go - looking at the footage some places might be better suited for a full suspension mountain bike or something similar 😄

Please put a notice in the headline when there is simular ads in the posts, in the future, so i can avoid them. Thanks!

Are you saying the suspension on upright bikes can't be good? Never bothered me, not even in fields. And before you say there are no hills in the Netherlands, there are where I grew up (in the south).

Kay Theriault

Well, this may mean more Digwatch minis for us!

What a wonderful idea!!! More energy and time to create and explore!
