It's a truly global operation and we've been having daily link-ups with Time Team regulars, archaeologist Brigid Gallagher and 3D reconstructor, Raysan al-Kubaisi from their base in New Zealand.

We'll be showing more of Brig and Raysan in the weeks ahead, but here they are with a quick update.

Greetings from across 'The Ditch'

Stephanie Stewart

Voices are the same...and time has been very kind to them both. Hope to hear and see more from NZ.

James Matney

What up super seeing you both.

Bob Kingsmill

I woke to 7 emails from Time Team Patreon this morning. I know you are trying to keep us informed but couldn't the links to all of this information have been sent in 1 or 2 emails?

Fern Wilcox

Great to see you two. I can't imagine how challenging it is for Raysan to be constructing a finished product on the other side of the world, and not having immediate access to the folks gathering the data. I remember seeing on previous TTs Raysan sitting at his computer having "real-time" discussions with the expert who was responsible for the data. Thanks Raysan and Brigid!!! Living in the US during the nightmare of the pandemic I can't begin to tell you how grateful I was/am to be able to rewatch Time Team programs for a bit of wonderful, uplifting distraction. So your hard work from years ago, Raysan and Brigid, is the gift that keeps on giving. Cheers from Minnesota.

Mark Freestone

Do they miss being on-site? I mean, where they are looks lovely, but I wonder whether they’d have liked to have been there in Oxfordshire as vital members of the original programme?

Bob Kingsmill

That's great but there is no option to receive a daily digest so if I want to be notified of all the information you post and you post multiple times per day I will still receive multiple emails. The only way for patrons to receive all the information without having our inboxes filled is for you to provide the information several items at a time instead of in one post per item.

Dale Wilson

glad to see there on the job, results I think will be wonderful

Steve Mikre

I know New Zealand has been going through various levels of lockdown recently. I'm glad to see them well. Hopefully they'll be able to join Time Team in person for future digs...

Jon Colcord

Please, send MORE emails! 40, 60, 80… Keep them coming!!!

Priscilla Logan

So good to see them looking well. I have a bit of catching up to do on my videos. Good luck.

Stephen Walls

Strange to think that when Tony was on Time Team New Zealand had only just been discovered.

Jude Edling

Hello to Brigid & Raysan from Minnesota! You look great and I can't wait to see what you bring to this Time Team experience. Thank you!!!

Robert Wise

Yeah, but Phil had already been there …

Robert Wise

Thank you both! So good to see you back again!

Rita Baker

Like Brigid and Raysan I too enjoy the spring sun here in New Zealand and try to catch up on everything that happens overnight in the UK:-) Rather like it that our little country at the other side of the world get's a mention:-)

james mccarthy

Yes I agree I’m down the road in sunny Whaktane and I am watching the updates with great interest 👍🏻Go go time team 👍🏻

Gill Palmer

Brigid and Raysan! 3 days usually means 3 days on one side of the world….Great that the team is global!

Kieran Gane

What a tough job bringing all that data together. Great to see you both!

Kay Theriault

Can't wait to see how your part works with everything else

Val Sharpe

Hello from Level 3 lockdown in Auckland NZ.Great to know that we have such a significant connection with such an exciting dig in Oxfordshire.Great to see you again Brigid.

David Boon

Great to see what my neighbours are up to in NZ. I would love more information to explain how the data is interpreted and represented.

Geoff Marston

An integral part of the show to help inform on site strategy. Hope you had a great weekend supporting the dig and it is great to see you again on tv. Looking forward to seeing your results.

Nameri Verdstela

It’s actually really sweet to hear the odd little bit of a NZ accent in Raysan occasionally. He’s making himself at home. :)
