It's funny that you guys thought Janeway liked the ambassador. I always felt like she saw his interest and was uncomfortable with it, but tried to use it as leverage to get the technology. She was so devoted to Mark in the early seasons, I just don't see her actually being interested in the creepy alien dude.

Garret & Robbie, I just tuned in on Patreon for the extra sexy bonus material in this episode...I think we need MORE of it LOL ;-)

David McMullen

On the patreon app it would be nice to have in the printed description of the podcast a synopsis of the episode your talking about and a list of guests

Katie O'Donnell

Just want to say, thank you so much for doing this. It gives me something to look forward to every Sunday night :)

David McMullen

Just got the bonus material was that seska being interviewed? Need a smoother segway to the break and next section. Like the show over all and all of the behind the scenes stories. Love to hear more from the cast (your costar's).

Chris Knapp

When you were referring to the Delaney Sisters. Their names were Jenny and Megan. In spite the fact that the were twin sisters, their personalities appeared to be polar opposites. Jenny was the more adventurous and aggressive sister, while Megan was the more reserved, studious sister. Harry appeared to favor Jenny over Megan, and Tom would later joke that Harry chose the "wrong twin".

Elisabeth Westner

Yeah, that was Martha Hackett (Seska). I, too, was disappointed that they forgot to actually say who she was. Oops.

Re: Harry's shirt: I remember when that episode aired and I was like, Oh, man, he's totally wearing the Venetian blinds shirt that Picard wore in "Attached." (Yeah, I'm a total nerd and notice these kinds of things.) It's a pretty stupid shirt but I agree with you, Garrett, that I would have done *anything* they told me to if I had gotten to wear a shirt previously worn by Patrick Stewart. Also agree that Wirehanger Hair Guy was a TOTAL creeper. Bleccch. Also thought that from the moment I first saw this ep. One of things I love about this podcast is realizing that I'm not the only one who feels certain ways about these things. In many cases I thought I was the only one. :-)

Hey guys. I love the podcast. It’s like hearing old friends talk about the adventures of the past. You’re the first podcast I’ve supported on patreon, and it’s money well spent. I absolutely love that you’re doing this. Thank you!! I have one small request. When I listen with a headset, I find the paning of your voices distracting. Maybe it’s just me but I’d find it much more comfortable if both your voices were in centre. Again, thanks for a great podcast that I look forward to every week!

George Lunt

Garrett and Robbie, thank you for this show! My Monday morning commute is now something I look forward to now that I can hear you guys on the way to work. Keep up the great work!

Chris Flores

I probably should of waited to ask this but does Robert Picardo really know how to play the piano?

Chris S.

Absolutely agreed. Having Garrett on my left and Robbie on my right was a bit like I was in the way of a conversation instead of being the audience. Totally get the idea behind separate audio tracks, but blending them together a bit would be way less distracting.

Elisabeth Westner

I wouldn't be surprised. Most really good singers learn to play piano at some point, just in order to accompany themselves.

As I watched this episode, I kept thinking that if I didn't know better, Seska was totally convincing as a Bajoran. Her complaints about the abuse of the Cardassians. Her longing to get back there to celebrate her brother's BD. I wonder when the producers (or whoever) came up with the idea for her to be a mole. Also, loved hearing her voice in the interview, but those interviews are my one beef about the podcast: they are much too short!!! (Same with when you talked to Beltran and Picardo).

TheDeltaFlyers

Thanks for your feedback on the guests. We offer longer and more in-depth guest interviews at different tiers. As for the episode specific interviews, we are still trying to find the balance of having guests while not over using guests so much that they won't come back. We do want them to keep coming back for all 7 seasons, so we are trying to make it as short and easy for them as possible while still giving our listeners their insight.

So I'm hearing this in Dec... I loved this STV ep before, but now I laugh my way through this ep because between when this encounter took place and the new "Picard" show... this species gets assimilated! Hugh (the former borg from TNG) helps Picard use it in season 1"

Just watching this now, and after listening to Garrett Wang talk about eating food on set, I would like mention Every Day Action. They are a new non-profit in the L.A area that takes extra food from sets and restaurants and gives the food to the L.A homeless population. Don't know if he looks at comments from old episodes like this, but I think he would be interested in this organization.

Sarah Allen

Re Garth (???) having a French accent... I think that’s the actor’s natural accent as it was exactly the same when he guested on The West Wing. Of course they could have cast someone else or told him to use a different accent!

Amy O'Hala

Yes, he’s Belgian.
