When I watch this episode, I always get the feeling that Zeo (the manifesto guy) is still just as affected by the clamp as anyone. He's just able to channel the agitation and craziness into his manifesto. I expect that it's many years worth of just incoherent rambling. If that makes sense

Pete

I felt a bit let down with the episode's treatment of Zeo. Maybe it was due to the odd lighting mentioned in the podcast, but he felt like a character with some wisdom to offer, as scarred as he was. And I was expecting his manifesto to amount to something, maybe propose a Vulcan-like method of emotional detachment. Instead he was tossed aside and ignored. Missed opportunity which left me disliking this episode.

I've been looking forward to y'all recapping this episode...to me, this episode is on par with the episode where O'Brien goes to mind jail in DS9, Hard Time. Very emotional and very Harry/Tom oriented.

I've been a fan of Voyager since it premiered and this was one of my favorite episodes. It scared me a little (I was 8 when it aired) but Tom & Harry's friendship was so impactful for me. Thank you for helping make Voyager such a big part of my childhood.

Don was such a great guest. Keep em coming.

I always remember the shock of this ep finding out about the boys location when Harry cleans the chute hatch. Watching last night with my daughter and knowing that was coming was so cool. She did the biggest gasp and said, “They’re on a ship!” 😊

Justin

Don was right, that last line that Tom says makes the whole episode.

Love this episode so much, I can't watch it lol I just love these guys so much that I hate to see them like this! Still a great episode and good to see Don McManus on screen as we both share the same last name as McManus is a rare Irish surname.

Good to see you're showing the next generation Trek episodes! Enjoy!
