Jake reveled in the euphoric sensation of suddenly experiencing an extreme growth in power, and the feeling of the winds hitting his face as he shot upwards only broadened his smile further.

Far in the distance, he saw the moon, and without even trying, he could easily see its surface. When he focused, he could even spot individual rocks and signs of dust being thrown about here and there from whatever Arnold was doing inside the celestial object. There were signs it was now inhabited, not least the defensive formation that covered the moon.

From what Jake knew, it wasn’t a super high-level one, just a formation capable of keeping the random meteor out while granting Arnold – or perhaps more accurately, whatever monitor system he developed – knowledge of anything and everything going on within.

After Jake passed through the atmosphere and entered space properly, he truly let loose and began to do some small tests for himself. He allowed his senses to fully spread and even expanded his Sphere of Perception a little, finding it a bit less overwhelming than while on the ground, as there was less stimuli, though in truth, it wasn’t much better even in space.

Space appeared empty, but it really was far from being so. Sure, there was nothing physical, but Jake’s Sphere also picked up energies, and space was full of that. Moreover, as Jake focused on his surroundings, he began to feel the familiar sensation once more that came when he used One Step.

Actually using One Step, this sensation only grew stronger, and Jake immediately knew what he was feeling.

Concept of space… no, not just space.

Jake couldn’t quite describe it, but he felt as if there was something everywhere around him that he could vaguely detect, but not quite interact with. He could already detect affinities before, and with there being plenty of mana all around him, he could naturally already detect the space-affinity mana and whatnot, but he couldn’t detect the concepts this easily before. He knew they were there, but knowing something and feeling it were two very different things, especially to someone like Jake.

He didn’t know if this newfound increased ability to detect concepts was only due to his B-grade evolution or if it was caused by his Perception getting a massive increase, but if he had to guess, he would say it was the first one. It wasn’t that different from how he learned to detect mana all the way back in the Tutorial, and later learned to distinguish and feel affinities. This was just another layer of complexity on top of that, and it wouldn’t be weird if B-grade was when everyone started to detect concepts naturally.

In S-grade, he knew that everyone knew how to do things like teleportation, and some level of time manipulation was also just something everyone could do. He suspected this had a lot to do not only with the increase in power but also with a natural increase in one’s ability to detect and comprehend concepts.

More to talk about with Villy later. For now, he had one skill he wanted to test above all else.

Slowing his flight for a moment, Jake stopped and floated there as he looked toward the moon. Taking a deep breath, Jake activated his new class skill. Immediately, Jake felt his vision clear up, and before, and he actively felt his Perception experience a massive increase. The stones on the moon suddenly got detail as he could see the individual cracks in them, but Sight of the Boundless Horizon did far more than merely increase his eyesight.

His sensation of surrounding concepts spiked instantly, and even things like his Sense of the Malefic Viper were affected as Jake suddenly felt a powerful response from… the closest planet to Earth, towards the sun, was called Venus, right? Jake tended to mix up Mercury and Venus, but he was pretty sure the closer one to Earth was Venus.

Either way, there was some potent, toxic natural treasure there, and he would have to check it out at some point.

Exploring the effect on his other senses, Jake knew that his hearing, smell, and other such things had also improved, though it wasn’t super easy to tell, being in space and all. The most notable effects could definitely be seen with his eyesight and supernatural senses.

As the seconds ticked by, Jake also took proper note of the skill’s effect on his body. As it had been mentioned in the description, using Sight hampered his defensive stats a lot, and that really wasn’t an understatement. Jake had hoped that after his evolution, he would be a bit more durable, but while using Sight of the Boundless Horizon, he definitely turned into a glass cannon. He couldn’t tell exactly how much it reduced his defenses, but it was definitely by more than half.

Seeing as that was the case, one would naturally conclude that one should avoid using Sight while in direct combat due to how risky it was… but Jake thought differently. Even if his defenses were lowered, his physical prowess otherwise remained the same, and he could still move as well, if not slightly better, while using Sight.

Would it be devastating if he were actually hit while using the skill? Sure, but that was easily addressed by just not getting hit. Jake was very confident when it came to dodging, so he could definitely see himself using it even while in melee.

Not for too long, though, as he soon started to feel the strain on his soul. As a final test, Jake looked toward the moon again, trying something. Narrowing his eyes and focusing, Jake glared at the rocky surface of the moon for a few moments, until he suddenly felt like he saw something move. Focusing more on those movements, he followed them and saw what appeared to be silhouettes moving beneath the surface of the celestial object.

It didn’t take him long to put together what they were. Drones were operating a few dozen meters down, digging tunnels for cables from the looks of it. Jake couldn’t see many details, but he definitely saw them moving, making him grin.

Not quite X-ray vision, but not that far off.

Jake considered whether this came from the part of the skill about perceiving things beyond regular limitations, but again, it could just be an effect of extremely high Perception.

Having done his tests for now, Jake deactivated Sight of the Boundless Horizon, wondering if any kind of weakness would follow. After stopping the skill, his Perception immediately returned to normal, and over the next five or so seconds, he felt his body and soul become tougher, until everything was back to normal again.

No weakness lingered, and Jake couldn’t even feel any sense of weakness from his soul. Perhaps things were different when Jake used Sight alongside Arcane Awakening, but for now, it looked like the decreased durability resulted in Jake not really experiencing any drawbacks as long as he didn’t go overboard using his new shiny skill.

He still had a lot of tests to do, including how the skill worked with Primal Gaze and especially Event Horizon, but he needed to fight something to do that, and currently, there weren’t any volunteers.

Feeling pretty good about things so far, Jake continued his flight toward the moon, though soon, he switched to using One Step, also taking the chance to try to glean any inspiration from the concept of space.

At the same time, Jake also quickly took stock of one more thing as he briefly checked how his stats had developed after his evolution.

Jake saw no reason to also check his skills as he’d just gone over all the new additions and changes there anyway, and besides, there was enough to unpack here. Across the board, Jake had gained a massive increase in stats, gaining more than ten thousand in every single one. Due to the growth mainly being universal, as it came from bonuses to all stats, both in the form of pure stats and a percentage increase from Primal Spirit of Man, even the ones that had started to fall behind had caught up a lot. Toughness and Vitality especially felt like they’d improved a lot, helping Jake’s durability issue even more. Again, Jake was never going to be a frontline tank, but it felt good to no longer be overly squishy... when he wasn’t using Sight, that is.

Perception had by far gained the most growth, no doubt due to his Bloodline evolving, granting him that extra five percentage points bonus. It had allowed him to crack 100,000 Perception, not only making Jake feel great about that, but also showing him that, for stats, commas started appearing in their numbers once it got to six digits. Not that Jake actually thought the system did things like that, but more likely than not, it had appeared because Jake himself thought it would look wrong without a comma.

Moving on, Jake still had a lot of Free Points to invest, as well as a void lollipop to lick for more stats. For now, he’d decided to delay allocating the Free Points, though. He wasn’t about to enter a fight or craft anything, and he wanted to see if he felt like any of his stats were lacking after testing himself out a little.

He did look a bit sideways at his Intelligence stat, wondering if that could become a problem. His new class didn’t give much Intelligence, and his profession didn’t give any, the Intelligence having effectively been traded for Perception, so maybe he wanted to put in some Free Points here and there. He wasn’t sure, though, as he was starting to doubt how useful the stat even was for Jake outside of his freeform magic, as more and more of his offensive skills had started scaling nicely with Perception.

Lots to think about.

Another thing Jake noticed in his stats was that many of them were... missing. He had to double-check his Primal Spirit of Man as something felt off, but doing so only made him frown more.

“While not wearing adequate equipment that provides you with all the stats your soul can bear, you automatically make up the difference through slightly increased passive energy consumption, prioritizing physical stats.”

Jake wasn’t sure why, but he had expected to see this skill reflected on his status menu. When he tried to feel for its effects, Jake instantly knew it was working as intended, and in reality, his physical stats were actually substantially higher than his status menu said. His Strength and Agility were, as an example, both around 7000 stats higher from Primal Spirit of Man making up for Jake’s lack of proper equipment. In total, Primal Spirit of Man gave Jake more than 50,000 stats currently. That was roughly a 10% increase in his total stats. Jake also noted that Strength, Agility, Endurance, Toughness, and Vitality seemed to take priority, as all had increased by the maximum 20% one could get from equipment.

As the skill said, it prioritized physical stats, so all these being maxed out was only to be expected. Unfortunately, when it came to the mental stats, Primal Spirit of Man spread out the remaining bonus equally among Willpower, Wisdom, Intelligence, and Perception. At least it did so by percentages, meaning that he still got more than 10,000 Perception.

Really, the more Jake considered the Primal Spirit of Man skill, the more utterly broken it seemed. The fact that Jake could effectively get 50,000 stats simply by consuming a bit of extra stamina passively was stupidly insane. Sure, it was only possible because those stats were freely available, should he manage to get proper equipment, but still. The mere fact that Jake didn’t even have to think about getting stuff with a stupid number of stats on them anymore was awesome.

Granted, these stats given by Primal Spirit of Man were perhaps a bit unoptimized if Jake wanted to fully focus on archery, as getting the maximum 20% in Perception would be better than Toughness and Vitality, but considering Jake had already resigned himself to never fully capping out his available stats from equipment, this was definitely better. Who would have thought that something was better than nothing?

Closing down his status menu, Jake refocused on his travels as he rapidly made his way towards the moon. Traveling in space was always a lot faster than on a planet, as there was less stuff causing friction, allowing him to continually accelerate as he pushed his speed through a mixture of running with One Step and flying.

He continued doing small experiments along the way, and as he approached the moon, Jake estimated that, post-evolution, he was at least twice, if not two-and-a-half times, as strong as before. Evolutions were not only a windfall of stats but also a qualitative upgrade to all the stats he already had, after all.

Having arrived at the moon, Jake effortlessly passed through the formation Arnold had made, finding himself unimpeded as it wasn’t made to keep people out. At least not yet.

The moment he passed through, he felt several dozen entities become aware of his presence and lock on to his location, but after confirming who he was, most disappeared, leaving only two.

Landing on the moon, Jake already saw a tunnel leading into the vast cave network through his now far larger sphere. All the entrances into the moon’s interior were covered up with physical barriers already, but as Jake approached one of the large shutters, it opened, allowing him to walk inside.

”At the core,” the voice of Arnold echoed from seemingly everywhere yet nowhere at once.

Jake nodded as he looked around, finding himself in the bare cavern with no sign of Arnold’s presence besides the shutter that had allowed him in and a few wires running to it from somewhere deeper within the moon. He looked around a bit but quickly began making his way further inside.

The further in he got, the more signs of Arnold he began to see as drones moved about here and there, and when he approached closer to the core room, he spotted a massive factory through his sphere in a cavern that Arnold had hollowed out into a big rectangular shape and reinforced with metal walls.

He saw more and more things like this, which really hammered home how scary Arnold was. It hadn’t even been that long since he’d taken up the moon as his new primary residence, yet he had already done so much construction. By the time he was done, Jake wouldn’t be surprised if the entire moon was just one big metal sphere filled with factories inside and powered by the core.

As Jake approached the core room, he noticed that Arnold had done much to terraform the surrounding tunnels. There used to be several ways into the core room, but now there was only one way through a large hallway filled with gates and defenses. Just seeing these defenses, Jake immediately knew that Arnold had definitely also evolved to B-grade, as if he were still a mere C-grade hunter, he wouldn’t be confident making his way through all the defenses the mad scientist had set up.

A small part of him wanted to test out what Arnold had set up, but Jake decided to be polite and just floated through the hallway, all the doors open and different traps and other defenses inactive.

Arnold had unsurprisingly made the massive core room into his main laboratory, and through his sphere, Jake saw the very impressive setup the scientist had made. The core was covered in a sphere of metal with several dozen wires leading out of it, and the entire room was filled from top to bottom with electronics and several ongoing experiments that were slightly unsettling to look at, even through his sphere. Granted, Jake could only look at them through his sphere, not with his eyes, as they were all covered in cubes of thick metal to contain whatever was going on inside, but that wasn’t the point.

Inside the laboratory, a wave of dense energy assaulted Jake. The mana at the core was far more potent than anywhere else, to the level where Jake doubted D-grades could even survive there. He looked around curiously as he walked toward where Arnold was sitting in a chair, tinkering with what looked like a weird pyramid.

When he finally turned a corner and spotted the scientist, Jake’s eyes opened in surprise at the sight of the man.

Seems like I’m not the only one with a variant race.

Tftc - first!

definitelynotbrjenness

Can you imagine the feeling of suddenly being much more intelligent. "Damn, I was stupid as a D-grader. Why the hell did I believe that?"

ThyThusThou

Ha, both this chapter and the beginning of book 13 that just released open with Jake going to the moon.

wyattmon

Hell yeah Arnold, realize the weakness of the flesh and trade it for...still flesh probably but void flesh

Connor

Thanks for the chapter

Gavin

I forgot who is Arnold's patron? The void yes?

Levi

Didn't Jake sacrifice his void lollipop to get out of a kidnapping? I don't remember oras giving him a new one

UNKNOWN

Ye, it's Oras, the All-seeing Eye

Gavin

Thanks!

UNKNOWN

There was a new one granted.

Hudson Ashby

Specifically Oras one of a few void gods

Xander

Oras the All Seeing. Yes a void god.

Ben Cox

Tyftc I'm actually quite excited to see what Arnold has done with himself for a variant race. Especially after Nevermore's comment about him putting the automata to shame with how extreme he took being efficient and analytical.

Alexandre8901

What! How fast are you guys reading... Anyway thanks for the chapter and the cliff

Sal

Oras took the one with Jake juice in it and gave him a new one

djthomp

Fascinating to see what's going on with the mad scientist.

wyatt

Oras did. Jake apologized to him for sacrificing something he was given and Oras dismissed the concern and gave him another one. Jake then pondered that he had no clue if they were actually difficult to create for Oras or something it could make infinitely.

Staudi

Tyftc

wyatt

Oras. The Void entity that helped out Jake and has had Jake Deliver things to Arnold.

i love arnold. zograth really hit the mad scientist vibe perfectly

he did exactly that

pretty sure it was oras or maybe another void god

Thats funny

Anthony Redden

It was during the meeting before oras left if I remember correctly, it was sandwiched between mystery stuff about the attempted abduction

Xander

TFTC :) sleepy today so I'm sorry if i missed some. Glad to see Arnolds progressing well :) Hope we get to see William and Lillian hook up before too long. I want the two emotionally damaged kids to find support with each other :D Suggested edits: "More to talk *about Villy with* later" should be "about with Villy" "*Stopping* his flight for a moment, Jake *stopped*" repetitive. Ditch the second stop and just have "Jake floated..." "to delay *allocation* the Free Points" should be "allocating" " if he *felt* like any of his stats *felt* too lacking after" repetition. Ditch the second and reword to "stats were lacking..."

Xerecs

Okay so based on how quickly Jake noticed the difference it has to be an immediately noticeable change.. my guess is Arnald now has a 3rd eye.

JJB4345_80_815

Yes, thank you for the chappy Zogarth!

Corey bess

Oras just tossed him another

Fdrugc

Tftc I want a full list of Jake's skill and what they do does anyone else?

Devillelouch

Thank you for audiobook update. "Sure, but that was easily addressed by just not getting hit." vs "Again, Jake was never going to be a frontline tank, but it felt good to no longer be overly squishy... when he wasn’t using Sight, that is." Pandora's box is already open I guess.

Skryser

If you ever want to make a spinoff make one with Arnold as the Main character that would be awesome 😁

definitelynotbrjenness

So easy to believe we get smarter as we level up, yet we roll our eyes at boomers that disagree with us. Of course, a lot of boomers are idiots. Wonder how dumb they were as kids? Gen X on the other hand...pure geniuses. Every single one of us...err...I mean them.

JJB4345_80_815

Small little space nugget: Even though Venus's orbit is closest to Earth, due to the orbits revolving around the sun at different speeds TECHNICALLY Mercury is USUALLY the closest planet to Earth. Sometimes it's Venus, but apparently because of Mercury having the smallest orbital variance it is usually the closest planet to all of the other planets as well, including each of the gas giants (Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune and Uranus). Kinda weird, right?

Oliver Muller

I can’t resist: *Anyhoo. Have an awesome day and keep on writing the good stuff.

Alexander C Hyde

For now, he’d decided to delay (allocating)allocation the Free Points, though.

Meadow

It’s definitely gonna be a plot point later on, Oras wanting origin energy seems rather important somehow….also, I just realized, but jake has the records for Oras being involved in his primal stuff too

Episode 19

Honestly wouldnt be suprised if Arnold's proffession ended up as Mad Scientist, bro earned it tyftc

Kt-x

Thanks for the chapter

Noah Mclelland

Maybe due to his spirit of man skill he has a higher intuition regarding variant human races.

microwavey

I did not realize how much excitement I’d get at the idea of Jake exploring each planet in our solar system, considering he’s technically already conquered the Milky Way. I legit forgot we could just do a moon arc for each planet lol

Loststar7

Thanks for the chapter. More Arnold please 😁.

Siethrobo

If high perception allows you to perceive *through* anything, that means Artemis saw the goods before hand and approved. My man!

Daniel Jackson-Woods

Whatever the lollipop was hatched when he did that and Oras gave him a new one

ABTelford

Fun chapter. I’m looking forward to seeing what Arnold has become; metal-desk? Void-eyes? Void hair? Extra hands/arms/eyes? 😁

DeAndrea H

Fun chapter. Just a mini test run but still fun to get Jake’s first impressions of his new build. As far as Arnold’s variant race, it has to be something mechanized. Everyone not from earth always compares him to the Automata when they first encounter. Can’t wait to see what he picked and hear his no doubt very logical reason.

DeAndrea H

The supporting characters are so well written, I’d say this of many of them. I’d love a spinoff off the Noboru Clan and the Sword Saint. How is their vampirism going and how are they changing the multiverse by being such a prominent clan in the new universe that has chosen to embrace it? And a limited series of Caleb, Sylphie, Draskil, or the Golden Forest King would be welcomed!

Fyrtue

Void Human or whatever he is will be dope.

Fyrtue

There's a wiki page you can search online that gives a fairly up-to-date run down.

Tom Robin

More to talk about Villy with later.?? More to talk about later with Villy

Let's go Arnold!

BumAssBumAss

Arnold is probably some variant that limits his reproductive abilities. It's been mentioned before. Maybe a void/Eldritch human type.

Misa

Tftc

Timothy Spradlin

I wonder if that is true though.. cause I am wondering if there is an element of intent or conception that has to be activated for the x-ray action to take place. For example in this chapter he was testing the limit of his perception and it gave him the action of x-ray but i doubt it will always do that

NoctisMi

Just checked the new audio book. Some idiot got the book just to leave a 1 Star rating without a review, super mature😌

MarineDebris

I'm guessing Arnold will either be a variant of a void-dweller in the same vein as his party members at Nevermore, or a cyborg.

Devin Williams

Arnold, is possibly some type of Cyborg like Void Abomination. Or Arnold is a variant of the Race that created Rigoria....I forget the name.

Willd

And he claims he doesn’t know the audible release dates smh

Jimbo

Is Arnold a cyborg or a brain in a jar?

Vostir

Tftc !

Dan

I wonder what his new race is! He seems far less attached to his human form than Jake, so I wouldn't be surprised if he evolved into something more in-tune with the void to help further his scientific endeavors

NinjaDad

Gen X… raised on hose water, neglect, and MTV (when they still played music). A perfect recipe for a generation of pure geniuses!

NinjaDad

Arnold… deus ex machina!

phil

dang dude I kind of feel bad for Travis, think their is already enough material for book 15 and maybe 16 lmao idk if well get there by the end of the year but i am super hyped to listen to yip and El 'Akan get their butts kicked that'll be book 14 so hope that's out sooner rather than later :) super hyped

UNKNOWN

Neurotar

Kyler

I like the second option, it would add to the story more so, but I also would love for him to be a unique variant like Jake is turning to be. To have the primal Hunter, and the void mechanic, along with the sword saint, they should all cause records to flood the multiverse like Jake's did. Especially once miyamoto becomes transcendent

blucube 14

Thanks for the chapter!

Brett Peterson

"Who would have thought that something was better than nothing?" Should probably be: "Who would have thought nothing was better than something?" since it refers to his lack of equipment being better than having equipment now, because of the Primal Energy of Man or w/e

tigerfishie

Oh thank god I’m reading this before finishing my drawing of Arnold I started yesterday 😭

Bocsánat

“Void touched human” or “Machine touched human” or “Void touched cyborg”

Lemonsqueezy

I am assuming it will be something to do with the void. On the other hand, Arnold has been described as a person that aligns with people that are most beneficial to him at the time. So locking himself in with the void could be counter to who he is, because maybe one day he wouldn't want to be linked to it. Cyborg would be interesting but that would align him strongly with the Altmer (I hope I am not thinking of Skyrim here) Empire. When it comes to Arnold, there is really no way to be sure. Zog could go anywhere with this character. I am expecting some sort of equipment upgrade in the next chapter or two, probably a nice sword upgrade.

Lemonsqueezy

From the way I read it, the way Zog wrote it might be right. When he has nothing (or lacks peak gear) the stats are automatically distributed. Jake could wear certain armor to force the automatic stat allocation to go in the direction he prefers. It was stated that some of these stats were allocated by the system into categories that Jake didn't find beneficial to his archery.

Lemonsqueezy

I stopped reading the books once I caught up to Patreon. Book 13 is mostly the Nevermore arc isnt it?

Lemonsqueezy

If that dude is anything like me he has a lot of Audiobook credits saved up (I have like a dozen). It is still a waste to use one just to leave a shitty review though, unless he actually didn't like it.

Kewi397

So when is book 15 coming out? Hahaha. Thanks for the update

djthomp

Venus arc should be fun now that Jake knows there's something there worth the travel time. I'm curious to see what the system did with the place, toxic elementals?

Lemonsqueezy

Maybe or maybe not. Jake has a perception focused build. Villy is wisdom focused and I think Duskleaf is intelligence focused. Their stats are by far higher that Jake's in perception just from being gods, but they likely don't have the skills and abilities that Jake has to boost his perception to be able to have x-ray like vision. Artemis is a perception build, but also might not have the skills and abilities Jake does. Then add in the significant boost Jake gets from his bloodline and Jake could be quite unique in having this ability.

Lemonsqueezy

I think that conquering all the planets in the Solar System will definitely be something that occurs in B-Grade. Venus, Mercury, and Mars will be a likely hunting ground for Jake in the future. I am going to assume that they are B-Grade planets, maybe even low A-Grade. I am assuming the gas and ice giants will be A to low S grade hunting grounds, but probably B-Grade. Making them A and S grade would cause some story breaking scenarios because it would be hard to believe that creatures at that level would exist in the Solar System without Jake already being aware of their existence.

There's an exception for soul bound gear as seeing through it would be like seeing someone's soul or something. Idk but Jake isn't going around seeing everyone nude despite being able to see what's on the other side of walls and such with his sphere. Though I would laugh my ass off if at some point Jake confesses to Villy that everyone's a nudist in his eyes but he was too much of a blushing prude to say anything before.

Could yall just imagine if Steve Irwin had lived to see our universe incorporated into the system? By crikey. Jake who?

This comment chain made me chuckle, which was very much needed. Many thanks.

Tftc! Long term bet: Arnold has an almost 100% chance of reaching godhood, and is the actual second place contender of this generation, not the Sword Saint.

Xerecs

Considering being influenced by a void God made no changes to him physically and the fact that he has always tended to influence his machines mentally I can't see him just replacing his limbs when he can just make something to do it for him. Also I don't feel like making yourself a cyborg would make you a variant race as your still a regular human regardless of any modifications you made to yourself.

Kirivina

I read that in his voice. 😆 good job.

Fulminis

Doubtful, Jake once asked if Arnold intended to become an automoton or something similar. But Arnold denied it, saying he felt the human form was far more adaptable or something like that

Daniel

I think it will be cool to visit Venus. Honestly, thinking about it, he probably fit better there than on earth.

Crow Says Caw

My guess: Chosen of a void god… so He’s gotta be some sort of void human variant. Ok: Human form. Completely black eyes. Shadow arms coming out of his back like Doctor Octopus. TFTC!

MarineDebris

The void-variant makes sense given the abilities he and his team members at Nevermore displayed. I'm guessing those abilities Arnold performed is the whole reason he even has the chance to gain the variant option.

@phil i bet at that era he acted like some kind of anime protagonist who had some kind of harem and said cringey lines, enough to be considered by him as his dark history he whants to keep hidden from everyone

Jake has been seeing everyone nude though, but its been with his sphere and not eyeballs Jake knew the identity of those masked rebel gods, even though they were literal gods wearing gear meant specifically to not let that happen Jake is also seemingly the only person in existence who can pick out which random smiling person is eversmile... but thats obviously less on appearance but observing what they are entirely That being said, jake is the kind of person who keeps on fighting when his insides / bones get obliterated If his junk was hanging all the way out its not going to impact his fighting ability at all... in fact i think the only part of him that could be considered "original" would be his feet- protected by the best boots in existence lol Back to general gods though, i find it hard to believe they cant percieve what someone would be like naked- but i also find it hard to believe theyd even care because its been normal to them for so long Its like wild animals not wearing clothes... its just normal Are u suprised when u see the orbs hanging? Why? You were the one who looked lol

zran

i dont think he become a neurotar, since that suposedly requires either the system willingness to make the neurotar back into existence, that or jake juice, and i dont think the pasive emanation of jake juice from earth is enough to cause such big change

zran

arnold?, noburo clan? *scoff*, you all are looking down on the greatest support character in the primal hunter, SHYLPHIE!!!! we need at least one book of shylphie epic and super fun adventures!, if not as many chapters as the primal hunter gets

Daniel Brian

100% facts! Having said that, when people say "closest to Earth" colloquially, they usually mean in reference to the Sun.

Xander

Nah, in the Colluseum, the image of Artemis had like 20 perception max since she was limited to level 0. After that the real Artemis watched hours of footage of that image getting railed by Jake so she saw what she needed to see long before she had a chance to use her high perception. I know you were just making an amusing statement but my tisms are acting up today.

Dr. Voidborg

WOOOOP WOOP WOOP WOOP WOOP WOOP WOOP WOOP

DeAndrea H

You can’t convince me that there would be better Augur of Hope than Fred Rogers.

DeAndrea H

I kind of want Jake to visit his family only to find that Adam now towers over him.

DeAndrea H

It’s the quiet ones you have to watch out for. Before the Nevermore arc, I wouldn’t have bet on Arnold making the leaderboards even though he’s crazy good with gadgetry.

Josie

the Holy Pantheon doesn't deserve our neighbor Mr Rogers

Lambda

I’ve recently been getting into astronomy. I have a whole new appreciation for our solar system and I’m so excited at the possibility of going to Venus and maybe seeing if Jake could survive Jupiter’s storms hehe

guy nakache

Bro is man after my own heart

guy nakache

I like that you gave Jake extra thoughness just to cut defences in half

ABTelford

I’m guessing Jupiters storms will be controlled by huge elementals now - and Sylphie will rule them all! 😁

Mikerz

Tftc. “More to talk about Villy with later“ >> “with Villy later” would sound a bit more natural

definitelynotbrjenness

I was thinking sylphie would tag along to introduce jake to big bird's friends.

definitelynotbrjenness

has anyone discussed if the Arnold jake is looking at is even the real Arnold? rem the prima fight.

ChickeWin

Please tell us Arnold has 3 eyes that would be so cool 😭

Stevean Bozek

It would honestly not surprise me if Arnold stuck his real body somewhere safe, in some kind of stasis and just interacted with the world through puppets now that he's B grade.

DefinitelyNotMinaga

He would be the Chosen of Karroch on day 1 of the tutorial LOL

DefinitelyNotMinaga

Travis likely has a bloodline related to storytelling that rivals the path of YIP and CHEETO. Kidnapping him would trigger the Primordial Squad to pull up.

DefinitelyNotMinaga

id love a spin off about a Magnificent Dungeon Engineer by the name of....nevermind...

Tamathon

Anyone else pumped that chapters are back lol I’m betting Arnold looks the same but with void black eyes, and black mana strings working around him.

CocoaBleu

I wonder if Arnold was given Jake’s old void lollipop and used it in his B-grade evolution. 🤔

Asterrahl

He should have brought a small plant as a housewarming gift!

Asher Mack

Of all the gods... I think Oras is the one I am most wary of. Even Eversmile is more predictable than that being. Jake best keep an eye on Arnold

lunatic

I see two avenues personally. 1. Eldritch 2. Cyborg We shall see i suppose.

JW Saxby

🤩👍🏼 Tftc 🍻

Dhia

you do know that S grade is a level where your actions cn destroy like, galaxies?

Thorias

There is an extra digit in the new wisdom stat.

Sweet Serials

Ha! An eye on the man who is working for/with a Void god know for its many eyes.

Cody

Jake just got a neat new skill for that. Still pretty sure Arnold doesn't want the Arcane smoke though

Coherentbabbles

He did, he just forgot it once it entered his spacial storage

Robert Farrer

So what happened to Jake’s bloodline upgrading with him? From F to C the first thing Jake had to do was rein in his bloodline, yet here nothing.. Zog even mentions it when discussing with Villy that he is different because his bloodline upgrades.

Robert Farrer

I found it… somehow I had skipped over that chapter. Thanks!

Yea Arnold is gonna become an entity to rival the Autamatons AND the Altmar Empire. But my bet is that Jake revives the Neurotar before reaching Godhood, so the automatons likely aren't long for the multiverse.
