Hey everyone! Bit of a shameful marketing message here.

I know that season 1 of the WEBTOON isn't everyone's favorite or mine, but some people like it or even love it. At least I’ve been told so. The point is, my publisher is bringing out a print graphic novel edition soon that will go on shelves everywhere, and they really want me to post about it. I know, the audacity of a publisher wanting to sell more books, can you believe them?

Anyway, they've told me that preorders are super important for getting it onto as many shelves as possible everywhere. Plus, the better it does, the higher the likelihood they'll do editions through the season 2 content. You know, when it actually gets decent. And if it does really well, it could help with a possible anime adaptation, which I've been told is actually in early discussions (I know very few details here, so don’t ask me, and there is nothing concrete at all yet).

So yeah. If you want to, pre-order it. Doing so would be highly appreciated. As for what you do with the book, that’s up to you. Read it, give it as a gag gift, use it as kindling, I don't care. I just want my publisher to be a happy camper and, hopefully, for it to do well enough to actually reach season 2 of the Webtoon, where it no longer (in my opinion) sucks. I've been told that preorders through Barnes & Noble are the most helpful, as they have the most shelf space and need to see preorders before risking stocking copies. Do with that what you will.

Well then, with the marketing message over, I hope you enjoy the chapter and have a nice weekend.

<AUTHOR NOTE OVER>

Jake didn’t particularly enjoy feeling like the child stuck between two bitter, divorcing parents who really should have split up years ago, but stayed together for stupid reasons.

It didn’t make it better that they definitely did treat him like a child, being only B-grade, while these were all A-grades. Admittedly, age-wise, these frogs and undead spiders were far older than Jake, with the Shaman talking about the Oracle being well over two thousand years old, with the Nestmother and horned frog definitely older.

Oh, and to make matters even worse, this wasn’t a divorce that either parent wanted to end amicably. Both wanted full custody, and both sides would rather see their metaphorical child dead than with the other parent. Jake was very much put in the middle, forced to choose, knowing that he really wasn’t in a position to make that choice.

Something the horned frog also seemed okay with. If Jake picked the Venusians, the Arachnecs would likely refuse or even try to just get rid of Jake immediately, and if he picked the Arachnecs, the damn frog had justification to unleash hell and crush the nest. He had clearly come there for violence and was just looking for a good excuse, seriously making Jake question why a guy like this had been chosen by the Venusians to come.

Probably because he was one of their strongest members and available... but still.

Jake thought about his predicament for several seconds, with everyone staring at his projection and the Archweaver keeping a very close eye on his real body. Tension was building as Jake closed his eyes for a second, having decided on his course of action.

Well, here goes nothing

Letting out a big sigh, Jake shook his head and spoke. “This is so profoundly stupid. Seriously, what are we even doing here?”

Jake’s response was very evidently not what any of the A-grades or the Archweaver had expected. This allowed him to keep momentum as none of them immediately spoke up.

“I’ve been in this world for only a bit over a month, which clearly isn’t enough to know all about it and its history, but one thing is certain: the Venusians and Arachnecs hate one another. Am I right in that assumption? Don’t even answer the obvious,” Jake said, sounding as if the situation was incredibly boring.

“As for why you hate each other, my guess is that it initially started the same way all these conflicts do. The Arachnecs require domains of death, while the Venusians need life, making them natural enemies simply due to their Paths clashing. This led to fighting and eventually deep hatred as both sides killed each other,” Jake continued, outlining the most obvious of observations.

The A-grades politely remained quiet as Jake spoke, and from their reactions, Jake was clearly correct. Again, it was obvious, as this seemed to be the cause of most of the conflict both before and after the system arrived.

“Which is precisely why I find this entire conflict so stupid. You’re all missing the bigger picture here, trying to get one over each other, letting hatred blind you,” Jake said, shaking his head in disappointment.

Jake’s demeanor was calm, purposefully as if he was speaking down to all the far more powerful A-grades present. This definitely didn’t earn him any points with anyone present, as the horned frog spoke up first.

“I do agree with one thing you said. You don’t truly know us or our history, so-“

“Why would I need to? It’s ultimately irrelevant,” Jake shrugged, knowing he offended the nearly peak A-grade, but he quickly continued, nevertheless. “Look, let’s take a step back here. What you all want is to go beyond the Boundary and enter what’s known as the multiverse. That’s what it’s called, in case you weren’t aware.”

His revelation of some minor information about the outside world was enough to interest the frog and overshadow any other emotions, as the A-grade remained calm and allowed Jake to continue.

“But have you given much thought to what entering the multiverse means? Because from my perspective, it seems like both factions think it’s the key to either side getting an S-grade among you, leading to absolute dominance. Oh yeah, little extra info, S-grade comes after A-grade,” Jake said, continuing to speak casually as he revealed more grand information to the Minor World.

Knowing he was stuck between a rock and a hard place, Jake had truly chosen to switch up his strategy for how to approach these factions. It may also have played a small role that he found their treatment of him objectionable. They saw him more like some magical treasure than a person, using him as a piece in their political game. They thought he was just another pawn to move around the chessboard with the Venusians and Arachnecs playing... but he was determined to make them fully aware he was no pawn.

He was now the one deciding the rules of the game.

“Do you have any way to confirm that claim?” the horned frog asked a question Jake once more found incredibly silly.

“You’re really proving my point here. Everyone knows S-grade comes after A-grade in the world outside, for the simple reason that in the grand scheme of things, S-grades aren’t that rare,” Jake said, shaking his head.

While S-grades were the peak of mortals and were incredibly powerful and rare, the multiverse was simply so unimaginably gigantic that there were still a lot of them. The Holy Church could mobilize an entire army if it had to, and often did when fighting the Risen.

“Which brings me to my main point. What you all seem to be missing. Your ability to go beyond the boundary and explore the rest of the multiverse also means that the multiverse can explore this place. You will become part of the multiverse, and that comes with a lot of implications, I think you all need to consider very carefully,” Jake said in a severe tone, getting the crux of everything.

Jake didn’t need to include that the ninety-third universe was currently isolated, but focused more on the fact that these frogs and undead spiders were about to be exposed to a world far beyond their comprehension. While an army of A-grades and likely several S-grades in the semi-near future was an impressive line-up, it was nothing compared to the overwhelming power of divine factions.

What’s more, Jake couldn’t forget where the entrance to this Minor World was placed. It was in his backyard, part of his galaxy, and frighteningly close to Earth, his home planet. Which meant that, by all accounts, when all was said and done... this Minor World was part of his dominion.

His words seemed to have gotten the cogs turning in the heads of the many A-grades as this obvious realization seemed to suddenly hit them all. They had been so caught up in going beyond the Boundary that they forgot that what lay beyond it could also enter their world.

“So what you’re saying is that our fight is ultimately a waste of time, because some outside force with power beyond our imagination will end up conquering this place anyway?” the Nestmother spoke up for the first time in a while.

“In essence? That’s exactly what I’m saying,” Jake said in a matter-of-fact tone. “The entrance to this Minor World is placed somewhere that already has the protection of a faction with power beyond your wildest imagination.”

They were all quiet for a few more moments, everyone throwing looks at the Venusian that was capable of confirming whether Jake was telling the truth. The frog could only give a grave nod to all those present, making the situation significantly more tense.

The next one to step forward was the Oracle, who looked at Jake with an inquisitive gaze.

“You keep talking about beings far more powerful than we understand. I assume these are beings beyond even this S-grade you mentioned?” she asked.

“Naturally,” Jake confirmed, having already decided by now to reveal the existence of the divine. Primarily because he had a strong feeling that he would have to soon anyway.

“What is this grade called?” the Venusian asked, all the A-grades present once more looking incredibly curious. It was honestly a bit funny that everyone present seemed to forget all animosity and why they were even there as soon as Jake started to reveal interesting knowledge about the multiverse.

“I’m not quite sure I would call it a grade,” Jake muttered, making all the curious souls even more interested. “After S-grade is the end of mortality. It’s a qualitative shift in one’s existence and the hardest wall to overcome. Far harder than any regular kind of evolution. But should one succeed, they will become what is known as a god.”

Jake said this final part with full expectation of getting some kind of visceral reaction from someone. The Venusians treated this Ancestor Spirit as a god, and while the Arachnecs didn’t appear to have any existence like that, he wouldn’t rule out the possibility either. That’s why he was ready to see at least someone call him a blasphemer or something... but nothing.

“God, you say,” the Oracle muttered, with the others also looking in thought, making it evident that this was a word none of them had ever even heard before. So, yeah, that was a nice hurdle to avoid having to overcome.

The Nestmother stared at Jake as she narrowed her eyes. “What do you mean when you say it’s the end of mortality?”

Knowing this was probably the biggest reveal so far, Jake took his time to build suspense as he closed his eyes for a moment before opening them again with a serious look on his face. “Immortality. Gods no longer fear the march of time, but have eternity before them.”

Jake had predicted this was the biggest bombshell to the powerhouses of this world, and from their immediate reaction, he was very right to have that assumption. The horned frog’s eyes opened even wider than usual, as everyone else had similar reactions of disbelief or awe. Mostly disbelief, though.

It didn’t make things better that the Venusian who could confirm Jake was telling the truth stood there, frozen in shock themself. Everyone looked to him, as he was far too slow to reveal that Jake had indeed been honest. His slow nod served as a second moment of shock to everyone, as it seemed only now they were starting to believe that the outside world was something they would have a hard time understanding.

Deciding to hammer while the iron was hot, Jake continued.

“The most powerful of gods in the multiverse have been around since ancient times, with a few having even been there since the very advent of the system itself. They have lived through countless years, seen thousands upon thousands of A-grades and S-grades rise and fall to the passage of time, as they honed their own power and built their factions,” Jake said, taking full advantage of everyone’s shock.

“These factions are now what primarily rule the world beyond the Boundary. Led by powerful beings that could effortlessly remove this entire world from existence should they so desire,” Jake finished, and from the looks of it, he had gotten beyond the stage of them all instinctively questioning him now as they all listened intently.

By now, the entire vibe had shifted, and Jake believed it was time to reveal another trump card of sorts now that he didn’t fear any of them daring to kill him.

Looking at the Nestmother, Jake spoke again. “Remember our conversation around Records and the incredibly powerful snake I’m close with?”

The high-tier A-grade nodded solemnly, having definitely already realized what Jake was getting at. At least partly.

“That snake is known as the Malefic Viper. A Primordial God, which is a title given to the first twelve beings in the multiverse to ever achieve godhood,” Jake said, once more giving them all a moment to take everything in before continuing. “Beings like the Malefic Viper are so powerful that their Records radiate throughout existence, even reaching places like this. Case-in-point, the entire existence of the Arachnec race.”

“What do you mean?” the horned frog asked with a frown.

“Blight. You know what that is?” Jake asked an open question, not actually sure if they knew. What he hadn’t expected was the Nestmother and even Archweaver to look shocked, as if they couldn’t possibly comprehend how Jake knew that term.

Seeing this, Jake nodded towards the Nestmother. “Blight is also common knowledge in the multiverse, so please, what do you believe it is?”

The Nestmother looked very conflicted, but likely due to being taken with the current atmosphere and flow of conversation, she actually answered. “We call it the Noble Essence of we Arachnecs. In sufficient quantity and quality, it’s what allows us to create nobles.”

Yeah, that was definitely something the Venusians didn’t know, but to Jake, it was no surprise. The only surprising part was that it seemed like the Arachnecs had learned to funnel and focus blight energy intentionally, but he should have really seen that coming.

“Did you know that Blight isn’t something that occurred naturally? It was created by one of these twelve Primordials. A god known as the Blightfather,” Jake continued. “When he first created this energy, it was known as his arcane affinity, but through his immense power and influence, it has now become the Blight you know today. Capable of appearing anywhere and everywhere due to its Records.”

Jake noticed that upon mentioning the name Blightfather, both Arachnecs had an odd reaction, as if they recognized the name without truly knowing who it was. Some instinctive recognition, perhaps. They owed the existence of their entire race to the Primordial, even if he had no idea they even existed.

“And this is just the passive dissemination of Records,” Jake continued. “I’m sure you’ve already noticed how a teacher can pass down Records to others. How the power of one’s parents affects one’s Records. Now imagine something akin to that, but with the Records of a god. Actually, rather than imagine, allow me to demonstrate a small Legacy skill that I got from the Malefic Viper.”

To really push his momentum, Jake had concluded that being a mere projection in front of the A-grades wouldn’t do. What’s more, because this had dragged on for so long, Pride was back on the menu again. Of course, if he even wanted the option of using it, Jake would have to get to the sky.

“Be there in a moment,” Jake said as he took a step back, his projection disappearing from the sky as he went out of the bubble created by the Archweaver. Two wings appeared on his back as he gave the Archweaver a look.

“I’m gonna head outside, thanks for the tour,” Jake said with a smile as a sphere of poison started appearing around him.

“I do not have the ability to disable the barriers surrounding the Nest,” the Archweaver said, making Jake smile a little. His words indicated he would have turned them off if he could, which was yet more proof that their entire view of Jake had shifted.

Fortunately, Jake didn’t need the barriers turned off.

“It’s fine,” Jake said as he activated the escape function of Wings of the Malefic Viper and shot towards the sky above. During their conversation, Jake had also done a bit of work to analyze the barriers surrounding the Nest, and while they were quite powerful, they had one fatal flaw:

They allowed toxic energy to enter and exit freely.

This was certainly done because why wouldn’t monsters want more environmental energy within? Usually, this wouldn’t be a problem either, but through a combination of Unseen Hunter and effectively making himself a living mass of toxins, Jake had found a path through. His increased sensitivity towards space also helped, in an unforeseen way, as Jake felt his control over his movements, speed, and where he would appear had all increased massively.

Enough so that as Jake came to a stop, and his wings started scattering into toxic dust, he found himself standing right in the middle of all the A-grades, who definitely hadn’t expected a mere B-grade to be capable of escaping from within the Nest.

“Now that’s better,” Jake said with a smile, also stopping holding back other things as he fully released his Bloodline and gladly unfurled his aura as the Chosen of the Malefic Viper, blanketing the sky.

“Now let’s properly discuss the future of this world.”

Tftc is Tom a reference to Tom Bombadil from The Lord of the Rings?

TFTC :) Welcome back everyone :) Suggested edits: "making Jake question *who* a guy like this" should be "why" "His revelation of some minor information about the outside world was enough to interest him to overshadow any other emotions, as the horned frog remained calm and allowed him to continue." This is a little confused with the His/him switches. Possible reword to: "Jakes revelation of some minor information about the outside world managed to interest the horned frog enough to overshadow any other emotions, as he calmed and allowed Jake to continue." This clarifies the language while maintaining the same meaning. "It also played a small role in that he found their treatment of him objectionable." This sentence is poorly constructed. I suggest rewording to "That he found their treatment of him objectionable also played a small role." or just ditch the "in" “Do you have any *veracity to* that claim?” should be "way to verify" if you want to use veracity youd have to go something like "Do you have any ways to prove that claims veracity?" "Everyone knows S-grade *games* after A-grade in the world outside," should be "comes" "for the *simply* reason that in the grand" should be "simple" "the multiverse was simply *too* unimaginably gigantic that there were still a lot of them. " should be "so" to fit the grammar of the rest of the sentence. "rest of the multiverse also means that the rest of the *universe* can " should be "multiverse" to fit the reflected positions or make both "universe" either works. "they will become what *is known as gods*.” either "is known as a god" or "what are known as gods" "I’m gonna head *inside*, thanks for the tour,” should be "outside", right? "so that as Jake came to a *step*, " should be "stop"

2000 feels a bit young for an a grade cause can't c grades live for just as long and s grades live for millions of years

Aura farm all over them Jake 🥹

Biggy smalls

Sure, but you've also got to consider their unique situation. They live in a very hostile environment. Lots of death and fighting. Not to mention they're beasts so they can feed off of the environment and treasures. It's basically the perfect place to grow up if you're about leveling quickly. It sucks for the average joe. The average joe dies from the environment itself.

Villy going to tease Jake about playing the spoilled young master role too convincingly? Will we get a cut scene with him, nature's attendant, and possibly blightfather watching jake?

Unless average Joe has the skill "the cameraman never dies" and is smart enough to never wear shoes because them flying off means death.

Phallusar

S Grades, using human lifespan as a basis, are in the ballpark of hundreds of thousands of years. Some species live longer, like elves, some shorter. And an S grade who has had the drive to advance this far but gets stopped is more likely to prepare a legacy than run out the clock like a D grade. And really the maximum life of a C grade may approach that of a young A grade but in turn that represents a really poor C grade and one unlikely to advance. It feels young because anyone who is an A grade in this environment is the best of the best for the Minor World. Medium fish in a puddle.

Rob Lyon

Yes C grades can live like 10,000 years B Grades can live like a hundred thousand But think about it Jake is only like 200 years old 250 maybe with all this time dilation and everything included and he's a B grade already And he's not the only B greade at that early age. So seeing a 2000-year-old A grade is not out of the question especially considering he's one of the elites.

Hahaha, so many of us expected Jake to push going for a big snake visit and it was so much better instead, what a great chapter. This is the sort of conversation that would normally net Jake some levels if it was Gods instead of A-grades, maybe that could still happen depending on what they talk about next. Also, that reveal that the Blight affinity originated as the Blightfather's arcane affinity. I've been suspicious for a little while that the various god-related affinities started life as their arcane affinities but is this the first time it's been confirmed? Maybe that was mentioned by Villy way back when Jake created his but I don't remember.

definitelynotbrjenness

Shitter thought: people think in pictures emitting auras of feelings and biases that they convert to words in their native language. Listening is taking the words of others, applying feelings and biases to create pictures in the mind.

I think blight used to be a arcane anfinity had been confirming before. Or maybe it was a malefic affinity but easy enough to extrapolate that most of the gods affinities used to be arcane

Tftc I am here for Jake flexing his young master status

Shandlar

No way. Jake has first movers advantage and is chosen of a neutral primordial faction with the minor world entrance in the solar system let alone the Milky Way, which he essentially owns personally in its entirety. All the other factions can buzz off. Jakes taking the entire thing for himself right here and now, 100%. There are dragon flights, vampire families, demon broods, scalekin tribes and elven settlements all under the umbrella of the Viper already. The pantheon of life and the risen factions can come to them on Jake's terms, not the other way around.

zran

jake got it easy because those a graders are literal frogs in a well, talking about heights of powers none of them can coprehend, or beings so old what has masive influence makes them more willing to.... not fafo

Shandlar

Did we ever find out what happened to that dude on primordial 4 that got vanished when he tried to teleport out with his findings on Jake's arcane mana thst he thought was groundbreaking? I remember it being a cliffhanger chapter where him and his entire lab just poops out of existence when he tries to tell someone about what he found. Did we ever get told who did that? Was it the Viper protecting Jake or was it the first hint of the mysterious hidden god faction trying to kidnap him?

Rai

You'd still face the Friday cliff 😭

MaeWyse

I’m going to laugh if this is his prima guardian event, for the admins it’s a trial about primal planets and leading them into something new? Since he is an admin he has access to these new worlds, the Milky Way being filled with countless minor or even major worlds that could hold an entirely new galaxy! That would be a world wonder indeed!

Quantainium C

I'm surprised he's confident enough to use up his wings.

“Jake came to a step”- should step be stop? Or did he use one step with wings and I missed it cause my perception is still too low?

Time for the MC to FLEX... NGL, I had misgivings when Jake was given the ability to flare Villy's powers as his own momentarily... It didn't seem in character for Jake. For someone who wants their own achievements under their own skills and merits, and who will gladly accept death w/o the chance of resurrection, just to 'feel' the potential consequences of every battle and decision they make. So the ability to flare another's power, to save his life or make a point, seems anathema to one of the major pillars of his character.

Ocellus

Bro 😂😂😂😂

ABTelford

His answer “this is so stupid” is the best answer he could’ve given! 😎

beeve

lol guess he doesn’t need help

Nexas Aurelias

Its really not though because Jake takes what he wants and needs from Villys legacy. Being able to flare Villy's aura is a perk of being the chosen. Jakes not trying to have a fight to the death to the death here or push the limits of his alchemy. Also he kind of doesnt have a choice. While he has proven he could have escaped he has no chance against any of these A grades. They would one shot him. I domt see how him reasonably using the benefits of beinf a chosen somehow goes against his character.

Josie

Time for a slice of humble pie! This was the A grade dragon from the Chosen ceremony upon feeling Jake show off: "Albaromoz was shaken as he saw the Chosen standing there, his presence drilling into his very soul. Despite the man being so much weaker than himself, he still felt pressured by it. Coupled with the aura of a Chosen, it was truly suppressing."

Jason Connors

I dont see it as a problem since Jake really only uses it in social situations. He cant use it in combat due to it not working with boosting skills. So using scales, fangs, touch, wings, blood, and pride in combat is pretty useless since his boosting skill would be better unless he was trying to escape. Jake has had zero qualms using the legacy of the viper for power and to get him out of annoying situations.

definitelynotbrjenness

somewhere in Pennsylvania a groundhog is smugly saying, "i told you so." and a groundhog handler trainer is screaming, "it's so simple. how did you screw it up? face the cage towards the sun."

Jason Connors

I wonder if Villy could possibly go to this minor world now. It was stated that minor worlds are placed in the void with its entrance currently being Venus. So could Villy force his way in through the void using Jake as a tracking beacon?

Rodney

True which is why I'm not actually going to do it.

definitelynotbrjenness

I was thinking a battle might start because the shroom was hiding the exit.

definitelynotbrjenness

I would not argue against that. others have by saying the system is hiding it or it is sealed like the 93rd.

Josie

Have I ever said how much I love this story? 💚

Psyck0

Didn't Villy say it was still locked up till the universe opens more and there could be no transfers of those above the level limit. Side note I wonder how high it is by now?

definitelynotbrjenness

i'm remembering it as villy saying they couldn't leave. 51% confidence.

Jason Scott

This is giving BIG Dick energy NGL. TBH he has the biggest on that minor world. Grade don't matter.

UNKNOWN

No my boy!

TradeMk

I feel like the next chapter won't be Jake, I hope it isn't but this seems like a prime cliffhanger opportunity.

Daniel Pangione

Jake may be incredibly driven but also supremely lazy in some ways. When he is in a boring situation he will use any means necessary to speed it along and get back to the action.

Jip

Jake really hit em with the “come take a seat at my feet young children while i tell you a tale”

CocoaBleu

And this is him toned down from when he flexed on all those gods at Nevermore… lol #TheTesticularFortitudeIsStrongWiththisOne

tigerfishie

Tyftc! I was falling asleep in class so I left to read the chapter in hopes of staying awake 😭

definitelynotbrjenness

shandlar's villain arc has begun. chill bro. nothing wrong with helping some friends.

Kevin Watson

They have eyes (most of them i assume) but cant see Mount Tai, tftc

Ra

What happened on primordial 4? I'm totally blanking. Seems quite interesting.

Alos

Brilliant chapter! Thanks Zog.

Alos

Would the impact be better if Jake said the last line using words of power?

Toni

I was wondering how long it would take Jake to get impatient with their bullshit 😂

Shandlar

Its a literal A grade hyper-toxin world of immense size. It's practically custom built for a poison alchemy faction. They arent slaves, they just cant leave. You know, for like, the security of Earth and shit. It'll be fine. Dibs.

Ctrl Alt Dust

Dang, this is Friday chapter energy on a Monday.

Takoda Heitz

I have no doubt that if he wanted to assert some form of divine wrath through Jake’s blessing he wouldn’t have any issues which considering Villy’s strength could probably still snuff the minor world out. I do have a feeling such a feat would be expensive for villy, like crazy expensive because Jake probably wouldn’t survive it either. This is just my head cannon.

Joken

Also let’s not forget that he is still a heretic chosen: Heretic: ab/using Villy to get whatever he wants to achieve, milk him like a cow Chosen: Spread the word of the Viper to increase his records Somehow exaggerating the description but that’s it in a nutshell.

Seen Death

Haha great work zog! I didnt really see a way for jake to flip this situation in his favour! Although using his escape skill before a potential battle might be risky... it certainly sent a message haha

Seen Death

I was going to comment that i might have found a solution to the friday cliffs... by saving fridays chapter for monday but instead i got an even greater cliff on monday lol

Seen Death

I think the only words of power that would impact these guys would be if jake said event horizon... but then hed have initiated combat and that wouldnt be too good lol

2026-09-05 04:00 Now we discussed the Malefic Viper’s dick, let me tell you about the Holy Mother’s tits… I don’t know who made that flagpole comment earlier, but now I want this to become cannon.

I think it would be cheaper to just revive jake, than trying to force himself inside the world with any sort of meaningful power Im not sure if its the same... i need to reread all the books haha But in the totorial villy + eversmile basically "froze time" and talked... but they were only impacting E grades To do the same on A grades would be a lot harder, although with the universe partially opening up maybe just slightly less than it would have previously

beeve

Yeah neither did I until we saw Jake just be Jake

beeve

Boss shit

beeve

Bad karma

beeve

Maybe the only dick on the minor world

beeve

Frogs snakes spiders.. he might be the only one for real

beeve

Maybe the goat guy has one

J

I don’t know a new race that’s weildef the blight in a pocket world could be interesting to the blight file as a passing fancy if anything. And we all know Villy love making bets. I could totally see him bringing in the blight father and Bugs in on bet over the undead spiders Imagine there is another group that wields light and holy or Shadows or maybe even desolation… we still have one race of this minor world we don’t know anything about.

beeve

Yeah if they could get into the tutorial they could probably bypass system stuff but that won’t be needed

BumAssBumAss

Honestly kind of glad Jake is actually using his social status in social situations now.

RonGAR

@JasonConnors Good way to put that. This skill is no different than scales, fangs, or touch. All of which are vipers skills that he uses as tools. Nod nod nod.

MarineDebris

Is the cooldown 24 hours?? I know it takes a while before he can use it again, but did we ever get an exact figure?

MarineDebris

Jake wanted a set of gloves that a scientist made, but the guy didn't want credits, but to research interesting mana. When he couldn't figure anything out, and made his report, right when he was about to send it off to the Altmar Empire with a mana sample, someone poofed him out of existence.

zran

he is kinda forced to do so..... otherwise he might end in a situation he either might be killed or potentially unable to leave(if they did sealed the space around him, tho likely they could not do that due to them being unaware of him having a space/poison escape skill

Summer Coff

Aw, little Jake is growing up and becoming a diplomat.

definitelynotbrjenness

it wasn't the gloves, but otherwise correct. the gloves came from the special, you can have only one store.

2026-09-05 04:00 Didn’t see that happening lol Jake being all diplomatic. Even more so him playing the role of a Malefic Priest lol. It’s funny that his new profession is more removed from a Malefic Alchemist than ever and NOW he’s acting the part 😂 exciting stuff right now though.

Dylan Hilliard

Great recap. I wondered what would happen to an A grade with his full aura.

Bruce Loomis

Tftc. I know it's so late in the story to be asking, but in the first couple books zog talked about how as one goes up in grades they slowly form into what they consider the perfect version of themselves, hence many women being overwhelmingly beautiful at high grades. How far does this reach? If someone thinks peak human is like 9 feet tall, will they gain an extra 4 feet as they go through grades? Is it some magical cosmetic effect, or truly physical? If it's physical, what stops someone from becoming significantly larger? Hell, they could even make themselves more aerodynamic- what's the limit?

Deborah

Correction: "S-grade games after A-grade in the world outside, for the simply reason that" comes instead of games, simple instead of simply.

Deborah

Another:“I’m gonna head inside, thanks for the tour" outside instead of inside.

Deborah

Jake came to a step, (stop)

Alex Lane

I think the Titan Primordial is your answer.

ZanSanCho

Thats a very good answer lol. Correct me if im wrong, it's been a few hundred chapters, but werent his eyes described as having stars in them or such?

StrangeBee

That would be hilarious if Jake actually said that

StrangeBee

You know sometimes I love this book and sometimes you put cliffhangers

Yiskah

At least it's Monday. Zog was merciful. This could have been Friday.

StrangeBee

Thank Villy it ain’t Friday

Yiskah

He's about to become the Viper's prophet to two entirely new races. 😂

James Davis

More than that he has entire universes contained within his body similar to the great planets like primordial-4 where the orders main branch is and yggdrasil that has universes contained on her leaves. Which makes sense because I believe it was stated that being big was a core part of his path as a unique lifeform

Rob Lyon

I can't wait for the sea serpent to show up The freak everyone out because he's one of the top five badasses on the planet and then basically kneel in front of Jake

Rob Lyon

True but the Titan was never human He's a unique life form and always has been I think the best answer to their question would be valdemar because if I'm not mistaken in the coliseum mortals he was described as like seven or eight foot tall. And Sven it's described as like 7 ft tall and so was the one guy from vahall's planet. So simply I think the answer is yes.

Zogarth

Fixed stuff. Quite a few this time, too sleepy when editing myself it seems :P

Bruce Loomis

Ah ok yeah that makes sense looking at valdemar. Thanks!

Bruce Loomis

Pretty sure the starsiezing titan was never a human, and his size came from race evolutions or unique lifeform traits rather than a simple desire.

Thekoopa20

I do think Shandlar is probably right, only thing I think will differ is prob for the Arachnecs, Jake doesn’t seem to care one bit if they affiliate themselves with the Blightfather once contact is established

JW Saxby

I like the webtoon though. My internal image projector is sometimes out of whack and gots to say. The toon helped in that regard.

Rocotrap

I'm sorry, but I don't like all the webtoon-funnery they pulled... I still go there and like every chapter just bc it's this series, but I'll seriously doubt I'll buy anything with that flying "helper" around

JigglyBear

Im worried about the anime adaptation. Is it going to be faithful to the series? Or is it going to follow the shitty webtoon version

Caramellato

Corvid! I swear to Villy 🤣🤣🤣
