Jake had been incredibly unlucky once more, not being the one to stumble across a Territory actually worth fighting. As they expanded, it became inevitable that they would encounter increasingly powerful factions that were also busy expanding their Territories.

That’s why Jake wasn’t surprised when he heard William’s group had encountered powerful resistance, even if he was miffed he hadn’t been the one to receive such a blessing.

“Are we aware of which faction they’re from?” Jake asked, relying on Miranda’s special Jake-communication skill. Statistically, they were most likely to encounter the Holy Church, and honestly, it was surprising they hadn’t bumped into any Territory from the faction yet. Well, assuming they hadn’t actually met them already, but had just destroyed their Beacon without realizing it. Then again, Jake reckoned a faction like the Church would yell loudly about where they were from.

“Demons, presumably from the Nine Hells. And not the Hell where your buddy the Cerulean Demon Prince is from. These are the big, bulky demon kind, primarily using fire magic,” Miranda answered, making Jake raise an eyebrow. He had a lot of factions in mind that he believed it could be, but truthfully, the Hells hadn’t been one of them.

The Nine Hells were a major faction of the multiverse, yes, but they were also relatively isolated from all the other forces. Their main forces resided within the Nine Hells, a special set of Minor Worlds not unlike Venus. If Venus were infinitely larger and there were nine of them, that is.

Jake wasn’t clear about exactly how large each of the Hells were, but he knew they were all utterly gigantic. Large enough for demons to be born in one and reach godhood without ever setting foot in the outside world.

This isn’t to say they didn’t influence the outside world. Demons had the unique racial trait of being able to influence others across universes, forming pacts and bonds not unlike a Blessing between a god and a follower. The bonds demons made tended to be far more influential, though, and often the warlock in question – the person who formed the pact – could directly channel a portion of the demon’s power to make themselves stronger.

Pacts could also be formed with monsters, creating demonic variants that were closer to demons than whatever they’d been before. Heck, some even referred to demonic variants as just demons, though many argued the equivalence was false, as they lacked many of the inherent racial skills one associated with demons.

Jake’s most notable encounter with a warlock was way back when he helped out Carmen and first went to the gambling and debauchery city of Paradise. The guy hadn’t been very strong and was killed easily, but it had at least been a memorable encounter simply due to its uniqueness.

Perhaps that’s why, despite them not being what Jake expected, he still felt quite excited learning he was going to be facing demons soon.

“Big fire demons, eh? Sounds like a lot of fun,” Jake responded with a smile.

“I figured. William and Holstred are currently retreating away from the demon’s Territory; however, they don’t seem keen on giving up and are chasing. They are trying not to lead them back to the Beacon, but they may just beeline here, in which case we’d definitely need the help. I’m confident in defending us for a while, but I’m far from done setting up my own rituals, and currently, I’ve mostly prepared ones designed to buy time,” Miranda said, giving a bit more context.

At the same time, she also sent Jake a mental image of where he had to go. It really was great that Miranda’s special communication skill worked after so many other similar abilities had stopped functioning. Shit, ever since entering the simulation, Jake hadn’t even been able to feel Sylphie’s location through their Union Oath, and while that could be because the Sylphian Hawk hadn’t entered the system event, Jake simply didn’t see a world where she hadn’t.

“I’ll pick up my pace. How about Tramon? Do you have a way to notify him, or do we just let him continue doing his thing?” Jake followed up.

“Who?” Miranda asked, confused.

“Tramon. Big guy, covered in scales, quite the nasty frost breath in the morning. Pretty sure you two are familiar,” Jake explained teasingly.

“Oh, the former Northpeak Wyvern. Yes, let’s just have him continue expanding our Territory. No reason to put everything on pause just because we’re suffering from a demonic invasion,” Miranda answered, pausing for a few seconds. “Also, I must say, I’m proud of you. After hearing his new chosen name, I had fully expected you to shorten it to Frostie or, if you wanted to at least partly respect what he wanted to be called, Montie.”

“What? Me? I would never do such a thing!” Jake protested, having already started his return trip as he was constantly accelerating... also, how hadn’t he thought of Montie? That would have totally worked! Oh well, too late to change it now, so Tramon was allowed to stay Tramon.

Picking up his speed further, Jake pushed himself as he flew across the land while interspersing One Step to go even faster. Usually, Jake was just flying or only using One Step, not really trying to go as fast as he could, but now, he was in a rush and held nothing back, even going as far as using his boosting skill on the stable 30%. It would burn out his stamina faster, but that wasn’t something a quick potion or two couldn’t fix.

“I’ll keep you updated if anything changes,” Miranda informed him before cutting off the connection, having her own work to attend to.

Jake sped through the now far larger Territory belonging to the Milky Way Galaxy over the next few hours, with Miranda occasionally sending Jake updates on William and the demon invaders’ location. His speed was definitely the highest of those he’d entered the simulation with, and he also only now realized that his Primal Spirit of Man actually helped him travel a lot faster than usual.

The skill granted him resistance to environmental effects, and things like wind resistance counted as a detrimental environmental effect. That allowed him to push himself faster, which was good, as it really took longer than he’d wanted to reach his destination.

It was fortunate that William and company hadn’t been on the exact opposite side of his Territory, allowing Jake to get there quicker, though this definitely showed that they needed to set up some Outpost Beacons and Teleportation Nodes to better traverse their growing virtual empire.

As Jake only had about a quarter of the journey left, Miranda contacted him again, sounding a little more worried than before.

“The situation has changed; it’s not only demons now,” she told him, sounding like she was getting information in at the same time as talking to him. “United Tribes. They also have a force there, and not a minor one. They’re led by a Behemoth.”

Hearing this definitely made Jake raise an eyebrow, and a massive grin appeared on his face; unknowingly, he started moving just a little faster out of sheer excitement. Jake had read a lot about Behemoths, but had never met or even seen one before.

Behemoths were top-tier variant beasts that were comparable to True Dragons and Phoenixes, though unlike those two, Behemoths focused entirely on sheer physical prowess. They sometimes had slight magical abilities and could manipulate earth to some extent, but it was nothing compared to their ability to tear things apart with unrivaled might.

“I’m going there as fast as I can... any update on what the Behemoth is doing?” Jake asked curiously, seeking a clearer mental image of what he would be facing.

“No idea, but going by what Behemoths usually do, it’s probably tearing our allies and demons apart effortlessly,” Miranda answered, trying to hide her annoyance at Jake’s rather irrelevant question. At least she was for a moment until she suddenly corrected herself. “Actually, scratch that. Holstred just let me know the Behemoth only got momentarily involved and is now hanging back, allowing their fellow members of the United Tribes to fight instead.”

Hearing this only made Jake more excited. The Behemoth thought the demons and William’s group were too weak to get involved, eh? Had to mean it was on the stronger side, even for Behemoths, as William was no slouch either... though he was good at hiding his power, and Jake guessed that the metal mage wouldn’t go all out unless he absolutely had to.

“Let’s just hope things are still ongoing when I arrive,” Jake said, and after getting one final positional update from Miranda, she cut the connection again. One fortunate thing about a third party getting involved was that the chase had stopped, and they were no longer diving into Jake’s Territory. Instead, the three forces had met at an intersection among them, in what would likely become a decisive battle that would eliminate two major Territories.

Getting rid of a Behemoth this early on in the event would be a bit sad, as they really were that rare. No one seemed to fully know why they were so rare, but one explanation seemed to be the lack of a relatively straightforward evolution path for monsters to get there.

Scaled beasts like lizards, snakes, or the like, evolving into wyverns and then True Dragons was a well-known Path. Bird monsters that leaned further into certain magics and comprehended certain concepts were also known to give birth to phoenixes, and phoenixes had a unique ability that made their population relatively stable.

Meanwhile, Behemoths didn’t have that. Could a bear monster become a Behemoth? Technically, but no one knew what the requirements were. All that was known was that it had to be a mammal-like monster focused on physical might – a descriptor that fit many beasts, yet barely any would ever get the chance to become Behemoths.

That’s why nearly all Behemoths came from natural births, but there was also a problem there: finding mating partners. Dragons and phoenixes could lay eggs, making it a lot more consistent and controlled. Eggs took a long time to hatch, but there wasn’t the same element of randomness that natural production leading to pregnancy entailed.

Meanwhile, Behemoths had to mate with another Behemoth and hope a pregnancy would result from it. Sometimes one did, but most of the time, the powerful solitary monsters with Paths revolving around smashing things weren’t the best at settling with a mate for a long time, trying to start a family.

As a result, most Behemoths that had children ended up mating with other races, resulting in beastkin if with an enlightened or some variant of beast if with another monster.

Fortunately, even if the Behemoth fell within this virtual world, the multiverse wouldn’t lose such a rare creature. Not to say Jake wouldn’t dare hunt down a Behemoth in the real world... he’d never claimed to be into conservation, now had he?

It still ended up taking Jake another twenty minutes before he finally spotted something in the distance. He saw flashes of light and sensed many powerful presences, as if a rather chaotic battle were ongoing. Probably because there was a large battle taking place.

When he got a  little closer, he got a better look and saw the three clearly defined factions taking part in the battle. On one side were William, Holstred, and pretty much every other B-grade Administrator besides Lillian, Miranda, Kindroth, and Tramon from the Milky Way Galaxy.

They were currently fighting a mix of random demons and beastkin, and the fight honestly didn’t seem that intense from a distance. William was barely taking part, with Holstred leading the Milky Way’s forces. Instead, the metal mage seemed more focused on two other presences.

Not too far away was a faction of red demons, all bathed in flames, led by what appeared to be an archdemon of some kind. At least it looked like one as it floated in the air, surrounded by orbs of dense flames, not engaging in battle directly but merely watching the biggest threat, a bit the same as William.

Towering above the battlefield, the Behemoth was a monstrous sight to behold as it stood on two legs, floating in the air as it observed the battle below. Its rugged hide and fur were studded with jagged spikes that protruded from its back and shoulders, glinting fiercely whenever it shifted. Each of its massive hands ended in three elongated, razor-sharp claws, capable of rending anything with a single swipe, though they appeared to also somehow be retractable, allowing the monster to punch with blunt force if it so desired. The creature’s imposing presence was clear evidence of its role as an apex being among the United Tribes.

It quite literally looked down on them, flying so far up in the air that Jake knew the resistance was no joke at that height. What’s more, it probably had to bear far more pressure than Jake did on account of its size.

The Behemoth stood at what Jake estimated to be roughly five hundred meters tall, making even the large Tramon look like just a small lizard in comparison. It was a size so huge it appeared detrimental in combat, but Jake knew it wasn’t necessarily so. In fact, based on what he knew, this size could be turned into a massive advantage in battles with smaller foes.

Jake, taking advantage of not being noticed yet, used Identify on the massive Behemoth, confirmed it was indeed one, though to be fair, so did its aura.

[Jagged Edge Behemoth – lvl 358]

Having little insight into Behemoth variants, Jake had no idea if this was considered a powerful kind of Behemoth, but he believed it was in the higher tiers simply due to how powerful it felt. While Jake couldn’t get a completely accurate assessment while the Behemoth was merely observing, he still trusted his judgment.

Turning his attention to the other noteworthy creature present, allowing Jake to confirm he was indeed dealing with a type of archdemon. An Archfiend, to be precise.

[Vermillion Archfiend – lvl 361]

Anything with “arch” in its name tended to be on the stronger side, especially Archfiends. They were pretty much the leaders of the demons, and while they were below the Demon Lords, Demon Lords were such rare existences that Archfiends tended to be the ones in charge in any given situation.

These were definitely two noteworthy opponents, though they didn’t appear super invested in fighting right now. Instead, all sides let their weaker comrades take the front, with even some peak C-grades mixed into the combat. If the true elites stepped forward, these weaker Administrators would quickly find themselves turned into blue motes of light, but some tacit agreement to sit back and enjoy the show had apparently been reached.

For the United Tribes and demons, this probably seemed fine, but Jake quickly realized that of the three sides fighting, the ones from his Territory were definitely doing the worst. Holstred was holding his own, but he was outnumbered, and many of the other Administrators were very much on the weaker side. They were also outnumbered, with several likely already dead. Or, well, kicked out of the simulation for a month.

Jake had truly arrived at a perilous three-way, where the Milky Way Galaxy was clearly the weakest side present... until now, that is. Because when a situation was chaotic, what was better than adding the Chosen of the Malefic Viper to the mix?

TFTC :) Woot woot :) 3 days off for me from tomorrow and a big party brewing :) Cant wait for the next chapters :D Suggested edits: " across the land while *inter-spacing* One Step to go even faster." should be "interspersing" "out unless he *absolute* had to." should be "absolutely" "give birth to *phoenixes*, and *phoenixes* had a" ok technically correct but cmon "phoenices" is so much cooler :D "Demon Lords were *so rare existences* that" either just "so rare" or "such rare existences"

Only question remains is whether Jake will take them both on at the same time or work a 1v1 instead. That Behemoth will be probably the more enjoyable fight. tyftc!

Smart move: stealth shot. However, that could be less politically savvy if he wanted to make friends with them later. I think Rewdan is right that Jake might treat this as 1x1 or 2x1 challenge openly.

thinking about the introduction of venus.. what is its purpose Zog might have something origin related planned or something is about to happen to the milky way that B grades might not be able to handle or it could be the first of many minor worlds in the new universe. any interesting ideas?

or an a grade beast from some corner of the 93rd releases the a grades in an attempt to take over

Xerecs

Only thing I've been able to come up with is Venus becoming essentially a toxic garden for the order.

Lemonsqueezy

Honestly, I think the introduction to Venus was because a lot of us were interested in the other planets of the Solar System. The whole arc was a filler to pass time before the SoTEP event started instead of just having a time skip. Zog had to create something to be a challenge to Jake, and be content for filler in the future. No better way that to have it have a lot of A-Grades. I am sure we will eventually revisit Venus. Maybe after SoTEP, maybe as Jake approaches A-Grade. There are a lot of little side stories Zog has introduced in the story that haven't been talked about or brought to a conclusion. We still have that puzzle box, the Demon wedding, the gift from Villy from his battle with Yip of Yore, the two people at PoL that he went to dinner with, the void stuff, and other minor things I know exist but cannot remember right now. I am sure Zog keeps these all in his back pocket to provide content between major events in Jake's progress rather than skip through time. I am pretty sure the system isn't going to release A-Grades into the Milky Way before our protagonist has a way to combat them. Best bet is they will not be released until Jake reaches A-Grade or the 93rd fully opens up to the multiverse and Jake can bring in strong allies from the Order to protect him. I am still under the hypothesis that the System itself is grooming Jake for something big that we will only find out towards the end of the story (which at this pace will be in a decade). Right now we have to deal with SoTEP which is looking like it will be about as long as Nevermore (chapter wise). So we probably have 100ish chapters of this. This phase of SoTEP is supposed to take up to 5 years. The next phase might be even longer, or maybe it will be really short. It is really hard to tell right now. My best guess is we are looking at 10 years for the event with a maximum being 25 or so. Following previous arcs and how things progressed I am assuming SoTEP will get Jake into mid B-Grade. Just like how Nevermore brought Jake into mid C-Grade. It was hinted that SoTEP is the last System event for the 93rd, which would mean that the 93rd completely opens up to the multiverse. Jake will return to Venus with some powerful A or S grades, or maybe even Artemis to get Venus under his control. We will then move on to dealing with the void stuff, or at least get some more information on it. We then will move into the next arc that will push Jake to peak B-Grade. Minor stuff bringing him into A-Grade. Rinse and repeat this pattern until Godhood.

definitelynotbrjenness

yeah, a little disappointed miranda hasn't requested the order set up a low level alchemy academy for the milky way

Lemonsqueezy

I didn't even think about the Demons yesterday. They would definitely cause William to have issues with beating outright. I know William would have no issues countering beasts and the United Tribes. Should be a fun chapter tomorrow. I think the Demons might back down when Jake arrives, I do not think the United Tribes would give a damn. I definitely see Jake going toe-to-toe with the Behemoth, maybe the Archdemon. This is reminding me of what happened on Venus. Jake vs Venusians vs Undead. We also might see the demons and United Tribes banding together to take down Jake like what happened on Venus.

Lemonsqueezy

Jake really is a 1v1 kind of fighter. Not that he has problems fighting multiple that is. However, in the past when it came to peak fighters it has almost always been 1v1. Jake always takes down the weak fighters and then challenges the leader. We might actually see a three way fight between the Behemoth, Archdemon, and Jake. The three leaders going at it with the others just standing by watching. Giving us a winner takes all battle royal.

Lemonsqueezy

I think we are going to see a winner takes all battle royal. Jake, the Behemoth, and the Archdemon dueling it out until only one comes out on top and the others standing by watching.

Lemonsqueezy

I think we are going to have a 1v1v1 battle royal between the leaders of the territories.

Lemonsqueezy

I think behemoths are just their own thing. Kind of like how true dragons are. It is an evolution thing. No matter what they were before, they become a behemoth and look like other behemoths. The only difference is their powers and skills are based on what they evolved from.

Lemonsqueezy

I definitely think we are going to see a battle royal between the "leaders" of the 3 territories. A winner takes all situation. Not by any agreement of course, but mostly because they would know that once their powerhouse falls they have no chance to win against the other factions, unless they can hold out until their powerhouse is able to return. Except for Jake of course. Would be a weird turn of events for Jake to lose and the Milky Way to be kicked out of the event. Even if Jake does lose here, I expect the Milky Way to be able to hold out until he returns. Maybe lose some territory in the process. This would cause some conflict and put Jake in a situation where he has to catch up to the others.

definitelynotbrjenness

I went on a little mind adventure imagining the three toed behemoth sloth. a creature that defied the norms by being at its fastest when at full size and slowed when it shrank down to speed it's recovery.

Rahsheem Reid

One shot the demon then take the beastie down.

Nagy Ádám

I would try to oneshot the Fiend and play with the behemot, even if the archfiend dose not die William can take it.

Gracie

tftc! 🐾🏹😈 both Jake and I were wrong in our predictions. but i am just as excited as Jake about the upcoming fight. 💞

definitelynotbrjenness

or jake wins, but deems them worthy of an alliance. I wonder if the succubus will show up to mooch some records.

Lemonsqueezy

So there is a good chance that Sylphie is in the event. We already know that Vespa is definitely there because it was stated previously she would be participating. So we are definitely going to see alliances in that regard. I am assuming the Demon Prince will have some sort of presence there for him. He cannot attend himself being too powerful now, but will definitely have someone under him. Might see another alliance there, maybe even this group is under him. Would be an interesting turn of events for the next chapter because that would turn a 3 way battle into a 2v1 against the United Tribes. I cannot remember, but are alliances allowed to permanently bind two territories under one banner or is vassalization required? We do know that Jake will somehow come out on top in this. On the other hand, we have seen Jake lose, learn a lesson, become more powerful, and return to get his revenge. I believe Jake will win this 3 way battle but maybe lose William and Holstead in the process causing Jake's territory to have to drastically slow down their progress until they return. Other option is Jake announces his presence and at least on of the other territories to immediately back down and retreat or barter an alliance with Jake and defeat the 3rd territory. Other option is the other 2 territories form an alliance to battle Jake. I just do not see the 9 Hells and the United Tribes doing that. Especially not after what Jake did for the Demon Prince. Either way, I am excited to read tomorrow's chapter. I am probably completely wrong in all of my assumptions, because lately Zog has been writing chapters to go against all of them. Making me think Zog specifically reads what I write and then writes the opposite to spite me lol.

Lemonsqueezy

Pretty sure Zog reads the comments and then writes the next chapter just to prove us wrong lol.

Phil Ritter

Depends if William can hold out against an arch fiend. Otherwise it’s either a 3v2 or more likely a 1v2 with the rest duking it out in the background

Phil Ritter

Only thing I think is notable. Jake is way too excited for the behemoth so who knows if he’ll keep it for desserts or will go in immeadiately

Lemonsqueezy

I am pretty sure something like that will come up in the future and Venus will be the location for it. Or earth will be and Venus will be where alchemist train or at least gather ingredients. We are probably just waiting for the 93rd to completely open up for that to come to fruition.

Lemonsqueezy

I think we are going to get a 1v1v1 with the leaders of the territories. So Jake v Behemoth v Archfiend. Winner takes all battle royal.

Gracie

but I did see an earlier comment that sloths have 3 fingers so I still have a chance that my 2nd guess will be right.

Fyrtue

I understand this is a typo but I can't help but imagine Jake as a centaur now.

Lemonsqueezy

Very true. He wasn't very excited about the Archfiend. So we are either going to have it go down fast, or it is going to ally with Jake against the behemoth and United Tribes. Jake has a friendly relationship with the 9 hells because of what he did for the Demon Prince. Jake has no such alliances with the United Tribes that I can think of. Factor in that with the excitement and there is a good chance tomorrow will be Jake v Behemoth. We might also see an immediate retreat by one of the other two once Jake announces his presence. Mostly due to not wanting to be eliminated or weakened by Jake so early. Which makes me think the Archfiend will either ally with Jake or retreat. The behemoth will stay because it seems to be the type to think he is stronger than Jake due to the United Tribes not having any previous experience with him. Jake comes out on top, United tribes territory is taken over, Jake moves on to the demons, demons either try to negotiate peace and vassalization or are in turn eliminated.

Lemonsqueezy

The thing with the succubi are that they specifically get records and levels by having sex with powerful people. So unless we are going to see some sort of orgy I don't see that happening. Zog doesn't go that route when he writes though. Not like what you see on Reddit with HFY stories anyway.

Lemonsqueezy

If you go by D&D lore it would more likely be a Dracotaur. Half-man Half-dragon.

Lemonsqueezy

I do not intend to be homophobic, but Valdemar, Villy, and Eversmile in a three-way is kind of repulsive lol. Not specifically because they are all guys, but more about their personalities and relationship with each other just clashing way to much. I still picture Villy looking like Danny Devito but with scales. Valdemar looks like Thor or Odin from the movies. Eversmile looks like Voldemort in my mind. Villy is also been written as being a womanizer as well.

Corey Herington

Tftc, possible changes unless he absolute had to. unless he absolutely had to. Demon Lords were so(such) rare existences that Archfiends tended to be the ones in charge in any given situation.

Lemonsqueezy

I think William has issues with demons because they are fire. Which counters William's metal magic. William would be better fighting the United Tribes than the demons.

definitelynotbrjenness

oh stop it or I'll tell everybody about the time you tried to master the art of the smelly pot and knocked yourself unconcious.

David Vieira

They stated several times that the Hells are not united and there is plenty of inner conflict. Wouldnt be a suprise if this Demons are from an opposite faction and and resent Jake for giving power to the opposition.

Thenais

I fully blame you for my new wizardry 8 party : Elfy, Gnomy, Dwarfy …

David Vieira

Dont think it will be stealth, last thing we saw was Jake's troops losing so Jake gonna step in. If he confronts the other 2 leaders, then William can help the scrubs

Bruno Daxo

I don't know if Zogarth will create the Hulk-style, hyper-resistant version of Behemoth or the heavyweight version where the attacks are so powerful that gravity bends to its will (now I'm thinking, if a Behemoth and a dragon were fused with Jake's juice, what would emerge?)

SmokeJam

Well if Irin is anything to go by, the Demons will enjoy Jake coming in hot, raw and ready for action.

Lemonsqueezy

Fair point. Mostly this was a guess from me considering how Jake tends to fight. He is mostly a 1v1 type of fighter when it comes to powerful foes. He systematically removes the weaker opponents and then fights the powerful guy. That is why I either think this is going to be a battle royal type of fight, or one of the two territories are going to join with Jake to fight the other one leading to some sort of alliance with the other.

C0bra$

Thank u for the story

DirePants

I’ve had a few three ways. Never a perilous one though 😂 miraculous? Sure. Spontaneous? Definitely. Perilous tho? Sounds… intriguing 🤔 now that I think about it. Like if I did it in a Tesla… could crash or blow up without. That’s living on the edge! 😂

Gracie

I think Jake prefers to hunt 1 powerful foe at a time, I don't think he considers himself a 1v1 fighter. multiple times throughout the story he has gone into a fight with multiple opponents with enthusiasm. as long as those opponents are tough fighters. he just doesn't like killing mass weaklings. so I don't think he'll mess with the armies, I think he will happily fight both the demon and the behemoth at the same time and refuse any assistance if either of them want to team up to defeat the other. if anything if one of them asks to team up it might piss him off cause it would make the fight easier.

Lemonsqueezy

That is a fair point that I didn't think about. Jake's pride doesn't like it when people try to help him. However, in Nevermore he learned to work as a team, then the Labyrinth with Casper. From his excitement, I think he really wants a 1v1 with the behemoth but doesn't really care much about the Archfiend.

DeAndrea H

I love this arc! We’re finally getting to see the factions that have been in the background all series! Good stuff! TFTC!

Jake has never used his communication device with Vesperia. He should try it. He should also use his union oath when possible with Silphie.

Bruno Daxo

His creativity is very humble; he already has the heart of a dragon. And it's said that behemoths are very rare because there's no guarantee that one behemoth will give light to another. What if he gives draconic help to a pregnant behemoth? With Jake Joyce, the sky's the limit.

Honestly, would be awesome if once Jake arrives William just looks at the others and goes: Held up my end of the bargain, Jake's here and yall can go off and fight elsewhere. Just straight negotiated the 1v1v1 with the other 2 knowing Jake would be down.

Dell

I’m really ok with either a loud suppression of other auras while shaming them for sitting back and watching while blasting pride full blast, OR in stealth spending a quarter of his mana pool on creating a decimation event on all other forces to protect his own and announce what he has going on to get the demon and behemoth targeted towards him. I also want to see more of William he’s gotta have some tricks if Jake himself thought there was a lot more to him.

Nick Wunderlich

It was stated, when talking with Miranda, that the Union Oath didn't work. Probably because their real bodies where still on the Prima. But he can still talk with Miranda, just because she has a skill specifically to do so.

Prob not the case but I was thinking as to the whole hidden order that wants Jake. One of there power houses could be a Choosen Usurper. Someone that hunts other Choosens and steals the investment from their god to use for their own. Someone from the fourth or fifth era that was killed or disappear disappeared. It would be a great enemy for jake as well as other of the side characters on top of that. It’s a great weapon for that hidden order as it prevents gods from either picking a chosen or gaining any benefit from it.

J

I am thinking he’s S grade and somehow by you serving the energy that the gods use to make their chosen, they’re chosen, allows him to boost his stats far beyond what a peak S rank could possibly be. Something like this would fall under forbidden knowledge, and if it happened while the viper was gone, then there would be no way to actually know about it unless he encountered the viper or Jake

Dylan Hilliard

Imagine if Jake could make one with Jake juice! Primal Behemoth....that would be truly sick!

Dylan Hilliard

I know right! I'm sure once the smaller universes get absorbed, we'll get to see the true main characters like East Bound Monk.

PWeygandt

Maybe, one of the Beastkin that moved to Earth will go full beast mode at evolution and he can help them evolve. I would love to see a Behemoth join the ranks of Jake's future Primal Pantheon of Gods

PWeygandt

Im more interested in finding out if the bipedal form of the Behemeth is his "humanoid" form or his True form

CocoaBleu

Ok, so if Jake doesn’t at least either one shot or try to one shot the arch demon or the behemoth, I will be super disappointed. He has the upper hand in that no on knows he’s there so he needs to build an arrow, charge it fully and hit one of them with primal gaze to take them out… it will level the feild so that the Milky Way has more room and will give them a confidence boost.

David

You're forgetting about the two-toed sloth! Lol look it up.. it's a thing 😜

Polaris

And it’s Jasper from the top rope with the steel chair!!!!

Hayden Leech

Can a mortal form a pact with a demonic god? It seems demons get blessing type skills before ascending to godhood. If I was a demon I would absolutely want to “borrow power” from a god over another mortal two grades above me

JW Saxby

Hells yeah! 😈👍🏼 Tyftc 🍻

Kt-x

Thanks for the chapter

ABTelford

Dang I was hoping to reach the fight this chapter. Oh well, tomorrow will come soon enough…I mean…uh…nope, I lied. More please! I’m psyched for a fight! Lol! 😄. I do hope Jake makes one or both into allies though. He still has a wedding to attend…or did the wedding already happen and Irin go as his proxy? It has been years at this point. And who doesn’t want a kilometers tall buddy?

ABTelford

Nah, William already sees him as a freak existence, this will just confirm it and he will reaffirm to always ALWAYS stay on the Freak/Jakes good side.

ABTelford

You have a very good point, it IS fun to see new groups and get new dynamics. Oh, now I’m more excited!

ABTelford

The idea of Eversmile with anyone freaks me out. Lol!

ABTelford

Nah, Jasper would STEAL the chair out of someone else’s hands leaving them looking dumb. Lol!

ABTelford

I don’t know if the Archie’s and vehement count as peak though since they weren’t top 100 in the leaderboards? The top 100 were invited to that mingle party with Jake…or was it only the top 10?

ABTelford

But that would be boring and Jake wants to have fun and test his new limits. So I’m guessing he’ll try some weird shit just for funsies. Lol!

ABTelford

Screw it, I’m upping my subscription so I can read through the weekend. 🤪

Gh0st-Hunt3r

Yup I have a feeling we are about to witness some fear and possibly the first ever Behemoth pissing his pants moment 🤣
