Jin Lite's Amazing Spider-Figs! (Patreon)

Jin has been super thorough with their series of Amazing Spider-Man figs!

These four alone are just a fraction of characters Jin has tackled from the Amazing Spider-Man movies! But my wallet wasn’t able to keep up with every single release (nor did I care to pick up “Random Kid in a Spider-Man costume that’s only got two minutes of screen time” for $100

However a while back I did snag these four really nice Gwen and Peter figs!

Even after these four were sent to me back in mid 2023, Jin released yet another Gwen! But it was getting to a point where I couldn’t justify the price for so many variants of the same characters at the time 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’d rather pick up figs that I’m passionate about. This community has grown so much that I can’t keep up and get all of 'em all like the old days, and that’s okay! Jin produces great figs, and makes (dare I say) too many figs to keep up with!

However in the year of our lord 2024 I'd much rather review the ones that really interest me and keep this ball rolling instead of get tied up in the minutia of just one movie for a month or so! I like to keep things fresh!

(Does this all sound like I’m trying to convince myself that missing out on figs isn’t crushing my soul? No? Okay good! Why would you say that?!)

ANYWAY!

I like these four quite a lot!

Jin did a great job on replicating these two in their civilian outfits, but the graduation outfits are so much fun too! The pop of yellow over the blue looks so nice! Granted, I owe the appreciation a little more towards the costume designers in the movie than anything, but in this context, Jin did a nice job capturing the essence of these two!

I’m gonna start off by chatting about Peter tomorrow, but for now, consider this a tease of more to come ;)
