I can practically hear Coldplay when I look at this fig :P

It’s honestly really solid stab at a proper Peter Parker! And I know! I’ve built a lot of this fella in my tenure! Not many folks have actually printed Peter. There have been lots of Spider-People sure, but that Peter Parker the guy? Not so much!

It’s a bit funny, and perhaps a bit ironic that there aren’t more brands that make the “secret identity” figs. I for one can say I’ve never reviewed or purchased a solely Peter Parker minifig before, and I’m pretty pleased with what we’ve got here!

From a print and design perspective, it’s a solid translation! I absolutely love that Jin even Lego-ified Albert Einstein on the shirt! Haha!

The only thing print-wise that doesn't quite get there for me is the face. Jin’s facial designs have always been a little hit-or-miss for my taste and this one again has the funky big-eye problem. A little to large and a little far apart. Heck, even the mouth is a bit too low for my taste. It’s practically printed on the chin of the minifig head

But everything else? Great! The pants are a little busy but I’m okay with that! The torso is simple enough and that about covers it for print!

The custom elements are also a treat considering the price of the fig. I mean I spent $100 and got a fig with like seven custom molded parts! One of them being the hair! It’s fun, but in my usual fashion I can’t help but wonder why a traditional Lego hairpiece couldn’t have been utilized here… 🤔

Just swapping it looks okay, not perfect either. It certainly shows you just how weird that facial design is. Though if you’re gonna commit to the custom hair, it looks a bit better with some other custom heads like from PCB or Jaka

As for those glove toppers, we’ve seen those before from Jin and they’re always nice to get in a new color! It's neat and probably a little unintentionally better than just printing fingertips over black hands. On the costume in the movie, these are the sleeves of his sweater poking out from under the coat. So in this context, the extra layer of thickness really works for me here!

The backpack and skateboard are also really cool! They work in tandem with magnets to reduce any studs/anti studs, keeping the look of the fig clean from all angles and assembled variations!

The print for the skateboard here again is really nice (the same can also be said about the backpack)! There’s enough detail to capture the essence without over complicating the look of the final fig!

And hey! Even if you didn’t like the printed version, mine came with some other extra doodads like an unprinted board and spare backpack (both with magnets) and a nice custom printed laptop that I’m too nervous to bend into shape 😅

Seriously though, this fig and it's custom parts thrive on magnets!

All in all I like this fig a lot!

At $100 (the most expensive of these four Jin Lite figs) it fits happily into the collection with more than its share of custom stuff!
