Rex / PCB / BrothersFigure - "Damaged Arachnid" (Patreon)

So the first figure I was most keen for of the Rex/PCB Spidey’s, was the Battle Damaged Sam Rami suit.

At the time, nobody had even tried to tackle this look! (Outside of LifeBrick’s upcoming damaged version, technically no one else still has to this day). This fig was designed with the intention to match with PCB’s other Rami Spider-Figs. Those two were fantastic for their day, but have been surpassed by time and newer releases.

So to fairly judge this, we’ve got to set our minds back to 2021, when this was as fancy a custom figure could get! 

And to be fair, even by today’s standards, it’s not bad, but those blank sides of the torso are hard not to focus on....

Comparing it to the original PCB fig from 2020, it’s another solid addition to that series of figs! But in some ways, it almost feels like it’s stuck in that era of custom figs. Time-locked to a past collection...

Design and production are both top tier stuff! BrothersFigure didn’t miss a beat! PCB’s design (again for the time) is still solid! Is it the best custom fig in the world? Nah, not really. But it’s certainly on par with my expectations!

For being the cheapest of the Rex Arachnids at an original value of $60ish, it’s good. But it wasn't worth the four year wait.

At any rate however, it sets the tone for what is to come!
