LifeBrick's MCU Mr Knight (Patreon)

Well, how about the other guy? Let’s talk about Mr Knight!

Right off the cuff, this boy is shiny!

He’s got this neat pearlescent shimmer to him across the undercoat of this fig that’s used really effectively! It cuts off around the shoes, head, undershirt, and hands and is used to great effect!

From memory it’s not quite an effect that the “real costume” had in the show, but it’s a neat design choice, I suppose.

This fig, like many other LB figs that wear suits, used the same Professor X three-piece template with some minor tweaks to give it the Moon Knight flare.

Oh I almost forgot to talk about the UV reactive white print! It’s used for the eyes and head emblem that feels unnecessary, but is a neat play feature(?) …not sure what else to call that detail… but it’s something that LB was really selling as a feature of these two that having them in hand I’ll probably never use…

The escrima sticks look really neat! They’re a bit different from the LB/Abnormal Daredevil ones though, and don’t have a magnet inside them. Instead they have this cool inscription molded into the elements, plus a nice bright gold ink on all four tips!

Buuuuut with everything about these two figs, two steps forward one step back… one of them isn’t molded correctly and is a bit bent at the base…

Lastly it also came with a headpiece that’s completely unnecessary. It’s lumpy around the detailed areas of the stitching and emblem. It doesn't fit right, and honestly LB could have cut this part from the listing all together and saved us about $10 because I for one will never use it.

Strangely out of the two figs, this one is definitely the better of them! It’s a shame that this one was the limited run figure. (I've heard through the internet that this one was much harder to get a hold of for some collectors)

I suppose it wouldn’t be LifeBrick if they weren’t a challenge to get a hold of right?

Anyway, they’re neat! One’s a bit much, the other is a bit underwhelming…

...such is LifeBrick

*shrug*
