Here go! Thank you to everyone who re-watched this with me! Definitely healed some trauma I wasn't able to verbalize and share when I first watched this back then (I had no one to talk to 😭). Given WannaOne is currently having a reunion, I hope one day we see X1 also.

Thank you so much for reacting to Produce X 101 - it's been such a long time since I last watched this show and honestly: This final episode broke my heart all over again! I absolutely agree that "Flash" still works so well and would definitely be able to stand a chance against all the currently active groups while some other groups' debut songs didn't age as well. Just thinking of what they could have been while watching the Debut Showcase... And it's even worse because all the members - while they might have been part of other groups or still are - never got the recognition they deserved after X1 ended. Of course there's Woodz but I think personally he didn't get that famous until "Drowning" went viral. Seriously heartbroken for all the boys.

Woodz is under EDAM, it’s only him and IU under it. X1 was crazy famous in Korea pretty confident they had the biggest debut showcase. There are still plenty of groups (even big names groups) that haven't even been able to perform at the Gocheok Sky Dome. Selling that place out in minutes for a debut was simply unheard of!!! They also sold I think either 500/600k albums for their debut which was an unthinkable number in 2019 ESPECIALLY for a rookie group. Is rigging wrong, yes but mnet always rigged a great group. We could make guesses of who was rigged in but all 11 were truly the most perfect group 😫 What I would give for a reunion! There were whispers early this year for one and within the hour 3 companies said “no chance” so sadly don’t think we will ever get it. I even remember flash winning 11 music show awards in a row 😭

x1 has amazing talents. - high note/belter duo (seungwoo and woodz) - rap duo (dohyun and woodz) - soft lead vocalists that synergise with strong main vocalists (wooseok, junho and even minhee) - dance line (hyeongjun and hangyul) - dongpyo and eunsang who has crazy stage presence and expressions - yohan is js yohan (he is that guy, he has his own category) js imagine the songs and discography they possibly could have for 5 years given Flash is their debut songs. The performances we could have during world tour and grand stages like MAMA. Given their situation, they are the least likely to get a reunion, I am doubtful that it will even happen one day. ig we will just pray for the best. (at least we have small reunions like "Boss" team and "Move" team)

truly! such a great lineup! and yes the stages would've ATE. sadly you're right about the reunion. ive seen some smaller unit ones on YouTube like last year I think it was but not an official one.

omg yes that amount of albums is still hard for a lot of groups to this day! I should've included this in the video but about the rigging: it just hurts because the boys who put the time and effort were the most affected. they shouldn't have been because they were clueless to the entire thing. yes mnet deserved to have been responsible but the idols no. the debuting lineup shouldve been able to continue without the mnet/produce branding. just an independent group. fans would've followed.

you're welcome! and so true, the boys didn't reach their full potential without the group. I think they continued but a lot of fans probably couldn't even stan the members because like us, they're heartbroken from the group's breakup. I was honestly unable to follow any of them individually.
