I just got back from an extremely long road trip, but got to spend time with my brother I haven't seen in several years. It was a very nice time and in addition to seeing family I got to finish two audiobooks on the drive down and back.

Hi Everyone We are chilling at our house in Bodrum, south of Turkey, after a fairly intensive two weeks of teaching (for me) at the Math Village (6-8 hours a day). Filiz and her bestie came to stay in the Village for a couple of days after I finished teaching and that turned out to be two days of intensive partying. So now we are resting up in the heat. For many years, we used to have a house full of children here every summer. This year a load of our daughter, Barbara's, friends have turned up, so we have a house full of children again, but the six "children" are now adults, 18-23 years old. I still end up driving the "children" here and there. So there is an interesting mix of music playing in the car. Billie Eilish's latest vs my OG/dodie/Greta/MLB/Lauren playlist. One of our young guests, Saoirse Asya, is half Turkish, half Irish, living in Dublin since she was 12. So we have the delight of hearing a strong Dublin accent (stronger than OG's) with just a little tinge of Turkish. I am trying to persuade her to go to the OG instore in Dublin in October. So keep well, everyone. I am still raring to hear OG2/"Everybody needs a hero" in its entirety in October.
