HELLO my gang of legends. I present to you your July demo, 'never feels quite enough'! (it's a sad one.. don't say I didn't warn ya).

As I mentioned on here last week my wonderful grandad Charlie has been battling dementia for a few months & after visiting him last week it felt wrong to write about anything else. It's no toe-tappin' head-boppin' banger, but hopefully something that can bring a couple minutes of peace to your eardrums & maybe something some of you can relate to in some way. As always, your opinion means everything and I'd absolutely love to hear what you think :)

The image I chose at the artwork is from an awesome artist I found online, you can check it out on his website here - http://marcocontisikic.com/100-Years-Old-Man

...I'll zoom in further on the lyrics in a new post tomorrow, but for now, I hope you enjoy. :)

love

I know I'm like 2 years late, but I just had to say something about this because it's been stuck on my mind for the last couple of days. I didn't know I needed this song, but when I heard it, I cried an ocean of tears:') Thank you for this. You are pure talent. Loveu <3 xxx

Oh man. This song is so beautiful. Really hits a strong chord with me as well, after losing my grandpa nearly a year ago. He lived 9 hours away. I was planning to drive down and see him when he was getting progressively sicker. A week before the date I had set to drive and visit, he passed peacefully at home. But I was left with the regretful thoughts like "I hope he went knowing how much he actually meant to me..." So "I just wish I had more words to say out loud" - can relate, but in a slightly different way. Beautifully composed, beautiful lyrics, just a beautiful piece of work. Thank you for this song, Orla <3

Andrew this is such a beautiful comment, thank you. So sorry to hear about your grandpa and how you couldn't have that last conversation with him, that must have been so tough. Thank you for all the kind words ahhh you're amazing xx

I've been in the deepest dankest depths of Cornwall this week so haven't had a chance to listen yet as the service and charging opportunities have been few and far between! Shall download to listen tonight! I'm looking forward to listening angel. Hope you're well. xxx

Very late to this but, damn. This is so beautiful but I don't know if I'm gonna be able to listen to it a lot. This song caught me right in the feels and I cried. The line ' I just wish I had more words to say out loud' in particular. 5 years ago i watched the health of my boyfriend decline in a year and, after a double embolism and a heart attack, he was put into an artificial coma. I went to see him a lot but I never was able to. say. anything. I couldn't speak even tho I had so much to say. When he passed away 3 weeks later, a part a me died with him. I still regret not speaking up. I wish i had said more words out loud.

Ok yes ! Feedback! Digg the keys and as well as that melodic "wooh wooh oh oh" theme, especially how you wove it throughout the song. So yeah. Straight banger 💯💯💯

I'm a week behind on the feedback... the song is great, the sound, the basic mix, the vocalizations. I even like the hook: " 'I just wish I had more love to give out' "
