and here it is, for your listening /downloading pleasure. this was a first for me & I really enjoyed making it. as always, do let me know what you think! 

if you celebrate christmas have an AMAZING day tomorrow & indeed a well-deserved rest over the next few days :) and thank you for EVERYTHING this year! the artwork I've used for this demo is a picture I found of Grafton st, one of Dublins main pedestrianised streets, taken in 1961. COOL.

rather than detail them in a separate post, here are the lyrics for this song! because like a lot of other christmas songs, this doesn't need much interpretation.. it's simply a rather cheesy celebration of things festive. since I've moved to london christmas has become so much more important to me.. I'm not a religious person so it's not for that reason, but the annual pilgrimage back home, that sense of routine.. I love it, I love seeing my friends & fam, I love that everything stops, even just for a little while. :) 

if you don't celebrate christmas I think a couple of these sentiments may indeed echo true for other holidays, such as thanksgiving.. it's really less about december 25th in particular and more about the whole idea of coming together and how much more important that seems to feel as we grow older!
