help me name a project (Patreon)

hey SDC!

so I’ve been working on something and I could use your help - with everything going on I’m desperate to raise funds for a charity that actively helps black communities. I’ve decided that tomorrow I’ll pick 4 songs from my 2 last EPs (freckle season and why am I like this EP?) and record a one-take acoustic session, start-to-finish, with some chat & song intros in between. my plan is then to put the release up on bandcamp this friday and make it available to download throughout June for £5, with everything raised going to a BLM/anti-racist charity.

my two questions are:

1) what should I call this project? and

2) any ideas for great charities I should consider?

re Q no.2 i’ve been researching and have my eye on a few, but just wanna make sure I consider anything you guys could recommend. considering i’m in London I’d love to support a UK-based or global facing charity rather than bail funds etc - but I’m open to considering anyone doing really great work and in need of funding. and re the project name - to avoid confusion I don’t want to use the word ‘EP’.. the best name ideas i’ve got so far are ‘the summer session’ / ‘the summer tapes’.. something to point to the fact that it will only be available in June could be cool. but i’m open! hit me with anything that comes to mind.

also - check out the artwork the project is gonna have! it’s by SDC member Katherine Viney, what a legend. she submitted it for one of the art competitions and I loved it so much I wanted to use it for something! so this felt perfect. :) she’s ready and waiting in the wings once I think of a name!
