introducing: summer session (Patreon)

HEY SDC. so this week I locked myself in my studio and performed 4 songs acoustically (heavy, oh GOD, inevitable & why am I like this?) with some chat in between (wow I miss playing shows) and the 'summer session' was born. it is available to download here  on my bandcamp throughout June only, with all proceeds going to 'Black Minds Matter' .

BMM connects black individuals and families in the UK with certified, professional black practitioners and contributes to the cost of these sessions. 

:) it was honestly so lovely to just.. perform?! again. after so long, just introducing songs and chatting like I was on stage was a really comforting experience. hopefully you like these versions and collectively we can raise some cash to improve access to mental health in the black community here in the UK. BLM!

btw thank you so much for your name suggestions for this project on the post here the other day - you had some crackers ! shoutout to 'spaghetti sessions' (loved it but felt a little tooooo light) and loved 'solidarity sessions' (loved it but felt a little toooo heavy!). I really appreciate your help with decisions that sometimes overwhelm me. also - shoutout to secret demo club veteran KATHERINE VINEY for designing this sick spaghetti art ! I was made aware of katherine's work through one of the SDC art competitions. love it. what a bunch of legends you are
