As an Empath. This is really a hard Episode to get through..

Randee Carreno

Happy Marvel & Moon Knight Monday, Natalie! 😊 I loved this whole series. But this episode, and the next one, are my top favorite episodes. Phenomenal acting job by Oscar Isaac in this episode. Have a great day today! 😊 Until the next video, Stay Golden! 💛

Ian

Happy moonday nat hope you had a terrific weekend and the doggies got their treats 🙂 just two episodes left it's gone by so fast but it's been a fun ride confusing in parts but fun and I can't wait to jump into this one so let's get too it 💛

RoadTripAdventuresWithAndrew

This episode is my favorite of them all. It's so good and well done. I cried to. Such a great episode

Tomas

This is by far my favourite episode of the series. It is a heartbreaking and tragic story but so well executed. And Oscar Isaac is SO good in this!

DMB

I held off mentioning it because until this episode it seemed to me like you might have thought Mark and Steven sharing a body was something mystical but now we all know that it was mental illness. After watching Moon Knight I wanted to learn more about Dissociative Identity Disorder and thankfully with this show out it was easy to find info. There is a Youtuber braiDIDbunch who are a system living with DID who reviewed all the episodes of Moon Knight and I wanted to shout them out so that people who are interested could hear what that community thinks of the show's representation. The TLDR is that Moon Knight represents DID pretty well in braiDIDbunch's opinion.

Troy

Dang, that was a lot to process. I'm wondering how much real world time passed during all this.

Neil Silverman

Ooh, I've been waiting for you to get to this episode. Such a powerful performance. Going to watch it right now.

Seth Workman

When you post this reaction on YouTube. The thumbnail will be a picture of you crying and there will be an arrow pointing to your eye labeled “tears”. How much y’all wanna bet? #clickbait strats

Yoshiwa

Alright guess I wasnt the only one who didnt assume marc just had split personality disorder. After rewatching all of the signs kinda pointed to that but I just assumed steven was some separate living person living in marcs body it was an interesting surprise to find out marc just had mental issues before being with knonshu and thats what khonshu took advantage of.

Matthew Smith

spamming will just make her not want to watch it, calm down and have some patience

What further complicates things especially about his religion is his father is a Rabbi in the comics and I think it is safe to assume he is in this. That makes his relationship with God and in place of him worshipping Khonshu and doing his bidding is so complex and really interesting. He is such a complex and flawed character I love him. I recommend anyone to read moon knight comics he is such a juicy character.

Hi Nat, thank you so much for this new amazing emotional and touching reaction 🤗 The ep 5 is my favourite, Oscar Isaac's performance is really intense and touching, and we know how it's difficult to play a character with mental issue (probably among the most complex), and dang I felt so sad for this family between a kid loss, a mom who blame her older son for the loss, the father trying to save his family but failed 😭 Not good to be a kid or parent in the "Disney world" hahaha I hope you're fine, take care, be safe and stay golden as you are! 💛

Riolkin

Yeah, this episode hurt. What a stellar performance from Oscar Isaac

Rabbid Dawg

Thank you for the reactions, Nat. This had to be my favorite eps of the series. MK has tried something different as a Marvel series and I like it. On to the 6th eps!

Cody Steele

This episode made Moon Knight my favorite Marvel property since Infinity War. Oscar Isaac is just so good in the show.

XadeChronos

Mark has DID (Dissociative identity disorder) and I think in the comics he also has Schizophrenia. The comics make it less clear what is real and what isn't, and if Khonshu is even real. This show toys with that idea a little making us question if the Psychiatric hospital is reality or if the world where he was shot is the true reality.

Elmo

ep 6 wraps it up nicely, not too rushed, etc.

Jamie A-H

Wow I cried even more the second time watching this ep with you. Oscar Isaac absolutely killed it. on rewatch WV and MK are neck and neck as my favorite MCU shows

Joe Blankenship

Such a good episode. Heart wrenching. And it makes you wonder if people that have dissociative identity disorder could also have more than one soul within them.

Daniel Vezina

Hey Nat, don't let akiro somp discourage you from watching Arcane. Stranger Things is good, Daredevil is great, but Arcane is Amazing.

henry stevenson

Hi Nat I agree with Daniel we dont get this opportunity often kindly requesting you to react to Arcane along with DD. Arcane is only 9 episodes.

Matthew Periolat

Oscar Issacs deserves an Emmy for this episode alone. It’s so amazing and he is so good. And until the rewatch, I totally forgot this was the episode that dealt with Marc’s roots in Judaism. And that, among many other things, broke Nat because it it, after all, her root too. We all are moved by what we connect with. Excellent work. Now, to the finale… and my favorite moment in the whole series.

Trish Murphy

Parents can really screw kids up. DID is caused by ongoing complex trauma. It’s interesting to see how & why someone creates an alter & eventually a system. And ten it hits that this is a Marvel property. Crazy. If Oscar Isaac doesn’t win an Emmy then I don’t know. Anyway, I really hope this isn’t the end of Moon Knight ✌️💚

SilverWolf

This is such a unique and good show! After I watched the first two episodes I couldn't stop and finished it on my own, but it's awesome watching it with you! Looking forward to the finale :)

to answer a few of the questions you had, the glass in harrow's shoes was his attempt to repent for his sins to try and balance his scales, he mentions it to Ammit "I had hoped my penance was enough". Layla had Scarab wings in her costume because she is now the "Scarlet Scarab", Taweret had a large Scarab as part of her apparel in the underworld (across her chest). Her father used to call her little scarab and she made him a scarlet scarf with the scarab on it, and we have seen from Steven that the host can affect the costume, so i think the outfit was mostly Taweret but pushed towards the scarab design by Layla the "Dr Harrow" parts i believe were a coping mechanism to try and lesson the insanity of what was happening, even if its more confusing to Mark/Steven, it still might help their minds cope with the insanity, and the ending of that scene i believe was them realising that it wasn't reality and making the choice to leave as they no longer needed it. edit: also Oscar Issac NEEDS to get an award for this show haha
