Happy Marvel Monday Folks!!It's time for more Daredevil! This week my schedule will be looking a little different just because I had a minor issue when filming episode 4. Ah, the reveal of the very talented Vincent D'Onofrio as Wilson Fisk aka the Kingpin. Can't wait for you to see more of him in this show, he's an interesting character.

This was our first introduction to The REAL Wilson Fisk, not the watered down version from Hawkeye. He's lethal, brutal, and actually kind of sympathetic if you forgive all of the bloody carnage. Vincent D'Onofrio absolutely disappears into the role and I'm very excited at the possibility of him returning in the new D+ show. You can tell he really enjoyed playing the character.

Guy-on-Couch

Kingpin is the best MCU villain...can't say why yet because you're just seeing him in this series but you'll see...D'Onofrio chews every scene he is in...Can't wait to see it all play out again

Either the show gets "a bit" less gruesome as it moves forward, or I just got used to it, I really don't know. It's definitely justified in any case.

Yeah the first season is definitely worth a watch, doesn't have to be directly after season two of Daredevil though.

Yeah I was really not on board with the Hawkeye version either. There was no sense of danger. Every frame of Kingpin in Daredevil drips with tension.

She should watch all the shows up to defenders in order then after defenders just continue with the shows she likes

Not sure if this is what you meant but one option is Daredevil 1 & 2, then The Defenders, then Daredevil 3, then Jessica Jones 1 followed by 2 and 3 if Nat likes 1. Another option would be to watch Jessica Jones 1 before The Defenders, then pick up 2 and 3 after Daredevil 3. I don't agree there's any need to watch the shows in original release order, as there's no need to have watched Luke Cage or even Jessica Jones to understand the plot of Daredevil S2 (which came out before The Punisher or Iron Fist). But to fully understand Daredevil S3 requires having watched The Defenders.

Making my usual recommendations, hoping to be considered lol Onward Heavily underrated Disney animated film that a lot of people missed out on seeing due to COVID, and was kinda swept under a rug. Jojo Rabbit Heartfelt Drama Comedy starring ScarJo, Sam Rockwell and Taika Waititi, who also directed it.

I really enjoy this show and this show's reactions. I've watched a number of people on Patreon react to this show. Your shock and awe are very typical, don't worry about seeming over dramatic or just too reactionary. These episodes hit hard for some people! As always, looking forward to more content. :)

Jeri hogarth from jessica jones is in daredevil season 2. And the defenders requires watching them all so may as well. Theyre all amazing anyways. Sure some are better than others, but theyre all great.

Sadly, considering what we've already seen Disney do with the character, and considering their current assassination of Obi-Wan, I'm not even remotely as optimistic as you are regarding how they are going to treat these characters.

I've seen many of Nat's reactions at this point. I think this is the first one where Nat tries to "evade" the screen in the first 3 minutes, lulz.

First seeing Hogarth in Daredevil S2 is like first seeing Matt in No Way Home or first seeing Fisk in Hawkeye, both of which Nat has done. In the same way, The Defenders can be an introduction to Luke and Danny.

The MCU Kingpin made me hope that the Netflix series occur in a different multiversal branch (I'm still not sure if they do or don't) .

If we're just talking about the TV shows, and not including Agents of SHIELD, then it's Kingpin #1 and Kilgrave #2, only because there isn't a lot of competition and Kingpin has a cooler name. I like both of them though, and they are both played by very talented actors.

Enjoying the rewatch for me, I think we've found Nat's guilty pleasure Court Room dramas. I've you think the level of violence is high now, I can't wait until we get to Frank Castle aka THE PUNISHER episodes

Check out jessica jones too. Also if your binging it, remember season 2 leads to defenders and defenders leads into season 3. If you go from season 2 to 3 you’ll be confused AF. Id recommend dd s.1, jj s.1, dd s.2, defenders then dd s.3
