Todays Nattie-ism is "He's fine. I mean, he's not fine, but he's fine" 😄 An intense show today. The scenes with Matt and Vlad reminded me a lot of the scenes between Tony Stark and Yinsen in Iron Man. Thanks for another great Daredevil reaction today Nat 💛

I'm really glad you're enjoying the show Nat, but I'm really concerned when the other Marvel shows start crossing over into each other, fisk in in three of these shows, for starters and chairs story is in iron Fist and Like Cage also madame Gao story really gets real in Iron Fist and events all lead to the Defenders. Don't know how it's going to play out without watching all these show in timeline order.

Just have her do this season. If she wants to continue, maybe she can watch seasons 2 and 3. But we can give her some non spoiler background on what she missed before 3.

It's been so long since I last saw this show, I didn't remember how Matt got out of the situation at the start. Their mistake was in showing their hand with "No witnesses." They needed some kinda hand signal system.

It'll be fine if she just watches Daredevil S3 just knowing that some plot points were impacted by other shows. I have no idea why everyone wants her to watch a bunch of trash series just to get through Daredevil.

I laughed pretty hard when she said she thought the show was already crazy. Like she is not prepared for where this show is by season 3.

Erik, None of the defenders shows are trash, you're just sad shes not reacting to a show you want and therefore want nat to just rush through this. She should react to all the defenders series in release order. And you can be there to cry about it the whole time.

Hey listen you really gotta consider Jessica Jones and Luke cage if you are gonna blast through daredevil. And there is an order to watch it. Dd1, JJ1, DD2, LC1, IF1(iron fist while good info for defenders is probably skippable, it's a very average show), D1, P1, JJ2, LC2, IF2, dd3, P2, JJ3. Jessica Jones is amazing, Luke cage is good, Daredevil of course is amazing. Punisher is amazing. Defenders is a fun mash up romp. Iron fist has a bunch of martial arts in it which can be entertaining but it's definitely the weakest entry.

The other three are all cringe in different ways, but Iron Fist is the least embarrassing. It has some interesting character arcs, even if it can't escape being that weird Netflix combination of slow-paced and over-the-top.

Jessica jones season 1 is definitely the best part of the defenders series, followed by daredevil season 3. But the whole series is great.

Iron Fist is literally trash, and I'm a Marvel fanboy. Jessica Jones is pretty good, and Luke Cage is okay in general. Punisher S1 is fine, S2 gets better IMO. Defenders was cool too.

What's really embarrassing is I became a member here because I thought Nat knew who I was and was cool with me. Because I'd encouraged the "You, yes you," thing. That is just crazy of me to leap to that conclusion. It's still fun, though, when you abandon the idea of fellowship. Coming up with fake shows and fake actors to recommend is its own hobby, I guess. I don't know. Not really.

You can still enjoy and understand all 3 seasons of Daredevil without watching any of the other shows. (This is how a majority of people did it. Most don't watch every single show) Sure, they provide more context. But none of them are necessary.

Okay, new idea: Daredevil S1 and S2 first, then the 1st seasons of Jessica, Luke & Fist. Then Defenders & Punisher S1. Then Daredevil S3. Then the 2nd seasons of Jessica, Luke, Fist & Punisher. Then Jessica S3. That way the only difference from the original release order is to bring Daredevil's final two seasons forward 3 or 4 places.

Thank you for reacting to this show, it's given me an excuse to rewatch it for myself. While I enjoy Season 2 quite a bit, I truly feel that Seasons 1 and 3 of Daredevil are two of the best seasons of television I have ever seen. There are several moments coming up this season that I can't wait to see your reactions to.

Season 2 is EPIC, better IMO than S1. S3 is on the weaker side, netflix put all of their shows together around that point, & you had DD with Luke Cage, Iron Fist, & Jessica Jones. Problem is that they used Iron Fist'struly horrible story to base that run off of, it was dumb. Iron Fist is one of the worst shows netflix has ever done. You should check out Jessica Jones tho, it's great.

it wasn't horrible, but I found it weaker than 2. Honestly it could just be the horrible taste left in my mouth by IF/Defenders.

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but besides Jessica Jones S1 you can skip all other series. Some of them have such bad writing and acting that it hurts.

Well, Defenders is necessary before going into Daredevil season 3, and you should at least be somewhat acquainted with the rest of the cast, so I think at least the first season of Iron Fist and Luke Cage are useful for that

Daredevil is one of the best shows! Stardust is a great Charlie Cox movie as well, also rec Snowpiercer if you haven't seen it yet, not Charlie Cox but still great!
