yes that was a fan. It’s made by Dyson. It sucks air in from the base and shoots it out of the ring across a curved surface that works like a jet wing. It’s really smartly made and they can have hepa filters. I have two cuz of NorCal fires.

Also Rue and Jules's costume was meant to be Romeo and Juliet from the 90's film (there is also symbolism there with their names, R+J= Romeo + Juliet and rue + jules)

Also all the names Rue says to that kid are characters from The Wire.

The names that Rue is naming off when she’s interrogating her sisters friends are all names of the characters from “The Wire”. And then she references “going to work on him with pliers and a blowtorch” which is from Pulp Fiction

Nate makes me feel a rage that I don't feel very often at all. I firmly believe that people like him need the type of justice the law can't provide. I completely agree with your rant at the end

Tyler did the right thing imo. If he didn't confess to assault he'd be getting charged with statutory rape. Jules would have picked up a sex offender charge because distributing nude images of a minor is definitely a crime, even if you're the minor. The cops would need to charge her, regardless of how right or wrong they thought it was. Nate is just a very capable manipulator unfortunately.

This actually happened to a few people in my high school after I graduated. An 18 y/o guy shared several photos of 1/2 underage girls to his friends. The whole case was quite hushed and I believe the women sending the photos were able to get their charges changed.. however it did take a while. So Jules being manipulated into this, I feel like especially as a trans woman she may have been very scared how the police would handle it, and she's about to apply to colleges and god knows the legal system probably couldn't get her a court date for a very long time. On another note, think of the absolute blow-up if ppl had questioned Nate: Jules tells police about Cal probably getting police involved, Jules gets charged with child pornography regardless, Tyler says Nate physically assaulted him but is not an actual sentence, Maddy may or may not have still been involved at that point to which she could either agree with Nate saying he r**ed her in the pool and the carnival + choked her or telling police it was Nate at the Carnival... absolutely bonkers either way but honestly if I was Jules I would terrified to say anything considering you would 100% be placed on the Sex offender list until you could MAYBE go to court

A shit ton of armchair lawyers in these comment sections : ) I might as well add mine. Tyler should have told the cops the truth and so should Jules. Jules wouldn't be charged for sending pictures of herself. Tyler would likely have been allowed to plead to a misdeamenor if he was charged at all and Nate would have gotten a couple of years in prison. It feels like the sort of plot that writers like to come up with but hardly ever happens in real life.

She's a big Andy Serkis fan & Caesar is his BEST (if not most iconic) role. She also really liked Matt Reeves' directing for "The Batman." It's a slam dunk. Let's make it happen!
