Loving these previews for the episodes. Self explanatory really.

Happy Obi Wan Wednesday Nat. I think your thumbnail says it all today. I thought this was probably the weakest show of the series, borrowing heavily from A New Hope and also a videogame. Can't wait to watch it later and see what annoyed you the most. Heading out for my dinner, as my brother is taking me out for my birthday 😋 Wow, you enjoyed this one Nat. It shows yet again that everyone takes away different things from shows and movies. I enjoyed your fun reaction today Nat 💛

Philippe Dessaints

Can't wait for next week. The last two episodes are basically what this series should have focused on imo.

Steve SG-1

The voice of Vader is A.I., Hayden for sure had to do the lines in each scene.

Randee Carreno

Happy Wednesday, Natalie! :) This was a good episode. Other than the silly way that Obi-Wan and Tala snuck Leia out. LOL! Like with the previous episode, I liked the cuts back and forth between Obi-Wan and Vader. Obi-Wan healing in the bacta tank to Vader in his bacta tank. And I loved seeing Obi-Wan get his lightsaber groove back while rescuing Leia. The last two episodes are so good! Definitely looking forward to those next week. Have a great day! 😊 Until the next video, Stay Golden! 💛

Daniel Green

This was the weakest episode but the next two are the best. Also, I was watching this Vince Vaughn movie on Disney plus yesterday and I’m certain I saw Natalie in it. I almost fell off my chair.

Ben Wheeler

It is interesting to watch Obi-Wan gradually shake off the rust and renew his connection to the force.

John

James Earl Jones did the voice of Vader.

Hi Nat and thanks for your new reaction 😁 Sure not the best episode today hahaha but the 2 last are better (at least they do their jobs better hahaha), and what would be SW without its cheesy/weird moments? 😆 Concerning your thought about the empire represents fascism/nazis is right, Georges Lucas took his inspirations from the German Empire (1871-1918), Nazi Germany and Japanese Empire (Vader's helmet has inspired by the Stahlhelm from 2nd ww, stormtroopers by Sturmtruppen from 1st ww, Jedi extermination etc), it's not original but I find interesting to take inspiration about historic/true facts etc Anyway, your reaction was fine 🙂 I hope you're fine, take care, be safe and stay golden 💛

Joshua Kon

Oh you can tell by the end Nat is almost mentally done with this show. She is hitting the same feelings as i did with the show. This is also why Im happy she wont do the netflix marvel shows outside of DD and JJ because they are about the same in quality, if not worse. I dont think she'll like the next episode as much as many and I just feel bad for her/people who looked forward to this show.

Philip De Leon

For your question in the beginning, yes, Hayden is in the suit.

Rich House

I don't think it's been confirmed by official sources, but Respeecher certainly are credited from episode 3 onwards and the idea they would need A.I. assistance for 91 year old James Earl Jones seems like the most obvious use case

Tony Johnson

Haven’t watched the reaction yet, but that thumbnail captures my feelings about this episode perfectly. RIP Wade

Ally Driver

Or she is tired of gatekeeping, negative people like you? Perhaps?

Joshua Kon

No its just a show with really bad writing and she see's it for that truth. Nat has never been interesting in not giving an honest opinion.

Brian Jones

It's the coat episode, isn't it?!😂🤣😂🤣 If you just think of it all as a comedy, with no relation to Star Wars whatsoever, remove the sound and replace it with the Benny Hill theme, it's actually not that bad.😏

Brian Jones

Well, we ALL looked forward to this show originally. I honestly had high hopes for it going in. But man were those hopes dashed after the very first episode.

Steve SG-1

Don't leave us hanging what movie was it?

john collins

It's so bitter sweet with these episodes for me. This felt like another episode of a disney+ show that did too much too quickly to get to a point in the story for the final two episodes. I enjoyed that obi-wan is finally starting to open back up to the force and realizing he has to try and be a former version of himself to save leia. I just wish there was more to it. I liked the idea of it being a slow build but he went from not being able to move a small object to using the force to deflect blaster shots, which I guess is something we see them start training as kids, so I guess it should be something that comes back quickly. But it still felt like there was a missing step. I would have loved to see like a push or pull next then kinda escalate until he has an inevitable moment where it all comes back to him. I know this is getting long but imagine if they found a way to make this two episodes. I think they should have done something with that line he read in the last episode of "only with your eyes closed can you truly see" that he seemed to focus on for a bit. Maybe if they have him do the jedi meditate thing a bit here and there and show flashbacks that have some whispers from qui-gon kinda helping him sort out some trauma. They could have added in more time with the rebels too so we actually give a shit about Wade. Then they could end the first episode in a crazy cliff hanger. It would have been awesome if he was in a position where he is like meditating in a similar way to how he did during the darth maul fight when he was stuck just waiting on those laser doors. They could do it with Reeva trying to get in one door and the storm troopers trying to get in another before the breaking glass thing. Then start the next episode in his like flashback/meditation to show him at least get confidence or assurance or something so that when he gets to that moment of holding the water it feels more satisfying and fitting when he uses that crazy throw the weight of the ocean move. Then have obi and Reeva have a small duel as they escape maybe he has to be defensive but still holds his own and shows that he's back or at least close to his old strength. lol sorry for such a long comment just had so many thoughts.

Anomaly

To all the coat haters out there, I think it was very intentionally funny and very in line with Star Wars sense of humour. Also, probably literally the most realistic way one would try to smuggle a child out of a place like that. What else would they do, shove her in a big box and have her crawl around on the ground? Other than that, yeah. There are lots of things I really love about this series, especially obviously Ewan & Leia's performances. The overall feeling I have with everything Disney has been making lately is that there are too many cooks in the same kitchen and that they're getting a little lazy with things and expect their huge success excuses them from being detail-oriented in the script and direction. It feels painfully obvious that artistic vision is being compromised in favour of the producer/execs wanting more of everything at once. There are just so many scenes with what feel like bad takes that could have been re-shot in 5 minutes but they just had to go with what they got and run with it. It's quite strange in some moments (Tala's stormtrooper helmet slap)

Myles Away

"Wow the resistance really has good timing" ... add it to the list of cheap conveniences this show is mostly comprised of. Also, the way those speeders entered the loading bay looked so bad. It felt like a fan made movie using plugin efx.

Curaitis

Yep, who give a shit about good writing, just excuse lazy, stupid writing with "it was funny". Why should a Writer even try to do a good job, just make it all "funny" and who cares about the rest? People like you are the reason why Hollywood nowadays get through with even the dumbest Story. People get dumber, i understand that, so a dumb story is more relatable to the. A complex one would be to hard to understand. i get that, but dont blame intelligent people for being insulted by stories for dummies and Kenobi was dumb to the core. And btw liking his own Comment says a lot about the mental state of someone.

Anomaly

1: Sounds like you didn't even read my comment 2: You sound like a 14 year old edgelord

Thomas Richter

i still can't believe Wade died! 😭

REDR58

I Can't believe anyone thinks this is remotely better than BOBF even with all that shows issues.

REDR58

It sounds quite good for AI recreation of JEJ.

Did you even read the comment section on THIS video before you made this stupid comment? Bc I dont see anyone being that salty, toxic or rude about not liking this show. The only one that looks like an idiot is you lol

Bou Sculpts

It's 100% reespecher. James Earl Jones doesn't sound the same anymore. Just listen at his recent Mufasa on the Lion King remake and compare it with the original one. They used respeecher.

Kev Martin

Seriously the Stormtroopers being hopeless is a criticism that could be aimed quite fairly at every Star Wars movie/show. Its a running feature of the franchise. Similarly with the Resistance having great timing. I think goofiness (eg Leia under the trenchcoat) is part of the charm. Star Wars started with a space fairytale and has always been light hearted fantasy to me. I can't speak about the cartoons as I've never been inclined to watch them, but all the live action has a healthy dose of not taking itself too seriously. And I love it.

Omni Jacala

What's unclear is how directly involved James Earl Jones had to be in the process. The way Respeecher typically works is that a stand-in actor needs to provide a vocal performance, and then training data (samples of Jones's voice) is applied to generate a new vocal performance with the inflection, cadence, etc. of the stand-in actor, but the vocal attributes of the sampled voice. Did Jones perform as the stand-in, with samples of his younger self applied to his older voice to generate the lines of dialogue used for Vader? Was Vader the sampled voice, or did they use regular young Jones's voice as the sample and then apply the usual vader vocal effects to the generated Respeecher result? There's no such thing as "100% respeecher," because a real person's voice is always part of the process, especially if you don't want the resulting performance to be totally stiff with a computer-ish cadence.

Book of boba fett is not optional if you have plans to continue the Mandalorian season 3.

Keith Jacobsen

Yeah, we heard the neck crack, that was a good one.

Ilsuk Yang

Honestly, neither show is good. The Mandalorian is the only good original Disney + Star Wars content

Narutoanime16

I love this more than Bobba Fett

Daniel Vezina

If a reactor, who was clueless about Star Wars 3 years ago, says it's cheesy, doesn't make any sense, call every scene 2 min. before they happened. MAYBE, JUST MAYBE, the problem is not with the fandom but rather a shitty product that KK is jamming down everybody's throat.

Balkyne

Have to disagree. There's a mountain of difference between the quality of this show and The Punisher at the very least. And while a lot of people weren't into it, LC was actually very competent. I won't defend IF tho lol
