No, do NOT skip the next episode. Yes, it's a little jarring to be pulled from the main storyline for an entire episode but it's important character development for El and Kali is an interesting character in her own right. I am really hoping they bring her back for the final season.

In Ohio, where I grew up, only shortly before I turned 18 they changed it to 21. But, yeah, regardless, Nancy and Jonathan are juniors in high school here. Murray's really out of line.

It's hard to say during the first season because it gives a way a bit of the character arc, but Steve is my favorite character by far and you really start to see why in this ep. So well written! Congrats on the wedding and hope you have a great time away for a bit Nat!

It was up to the states, still is I guess. But in '84 congress passed a law requiring states make it 21 or lose 10% of federal highway funds

Good catch on the drinking age, I didnt even think of that, but yeah the drinking age was raisedto 21 in 1984, after this time period of the show. (also good pretty sure Billy is just racist lol)

@Dooly, she-hulk is a great show. just because it's not some people's cups of tea doesn't mean it's a bad show. i find it hilarious, and very realistic

Completely random: HIGHLY recommend watching fly away home, even if you don't film your reaction to it. Such a good movie, and ridiculously inspiring

That end scene takes a lot from the movie Aliens. The beeping noise as they track the creatures is the same in Aliens. Walking thru alien tunnels. Seeing the attack thru the cameras mounted on the soldiers Fighting with flame throwers. Shouting Get them out. Even the line said by one of the soldiers "Stay frosty" was in both. And of course both staring Paul Reiser, with him monitoring the cams.
