Last week was a weird one, her most common schedule is 2 episodes of something on Mon-Tue, another 2 of something else on Wed-Thu and a movie on Fri.

The Netflix shows are still my favorite installments of the MCU. They really nailed the "mature superheroes" trope. Except for Iron Fist, of course. Disney+ still have to deliver a series as good as Jessica Jones, Daredevil or The Punisher in my opinion.

I ignored it the first few times, but you keep calling Jessica's neighbor "Miles". There is no character named Miles in this show. His name is Malcolm Ducasse. Maybe you're getting him confused with the main character of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse somehow?

Simpson is actually a character in the comics lol. His name is Nuke, kinda like an evil captain america with an american flag tattooed on his face and mentally insane. In the comics he fought with daredevil and captain america alot. Tho i like what they did with him here and making him an unhinged good guy

I think you're right about the symbolism of addiction. But I also feel the show is tackling the post-trauma someone has over an abusive relationship, even one they are no longer in.

As a Doctor Who fan I am always amazed at how great Tenant is at playing the villain. Great reaction as always Ooh if you get a chance at some point Doctor Who reactions could be fun or the Legend of Vox Machina if you want something a lot shorter. Have an amazing wedding!

Kilgrave is without a doubt my favourite Marvel villain. Because what makes him so unsettling is that he feels human. He isn't flashy, he isn't larger than life, he doesn't preach about some grand goal; he's just a man. A deeply, deeply evil man. And people like him exist in the real world. He's just what happens when one of those people gains absolute power to have whatever they want.

And for the record costumes in Marvel comics actually have super powers of their own - one of which is apparently defying gravity, if you get my drift. But seriously some costumes in the comics are made of "unstable molecules", discovered by Reed Richards of the Fantastic Four, that adapt to the wearers powers. So for instance when Human Torch produces flame his costume doesn't burn.

Maybe I'm too much of a cynic, but I think most people, given Kilgrave's power, would become some variant of him. They might not become as bad, but would still end up abusing that power eventually.

Nothing Marvel has done in the last 15 years? So you’re discounting the entirety of the MCU?? So SpiderMan 1/2, and the original X-Men trilogy are still in the running??? Seems harsh… even if you’re saying that the dark realistic themes make this better are you discounting all other entertainment value??? The action is better in many Marvel films. And given that Wandavision also deals with similar difficult themes whilst also garnering much more attention is it not even CLOSE to as good?!

True. As the saying goes: "Absolute power corrupts absolutely." And having the power of mind control is a particularly bad one. A good person might try to use it for good, but over time become too comfortable with it and gradually expand their usage until it becomes problematic, or they might be tempted to use it immorally at an emotional moment. Over a long enough timeframe, they might become a lot like Kilgrave. After all; evil is made, not born.

Right? I love JJ's first season, but the first two seasons of Daredevil? Endgame? NWH? Ragnarock? Winter Soldier? Even if you don't like any of these things as much as JJ season 1, it's REALLY weird to say "none of them even comes close to the quality". *facepalm*

I love when modern Marvel content references older superhero costumes/alter egos/powers from incredibly cheesy and corny eras. The WandaVision Halloween episode comes to mind, as does the Thor 1 'Donald Blake' reference and the Mjolnir/umbrella in Ragnarock. Also, Luke Cage lookin at himself in the window after his prison break and declaring "you look like a damn fool!"

This is a very compelling story, one of the best villains Marvel has put on TV. His power is so terrifying the way he can just destroy people's lives with his voice. Thank you for continuing with this series. Congrats on the upcoming wedding! Have fun on your WELL deserved break.
