Trish could have gotten a handgun legally if she wanted to because before the recent supreme court ruling only the rich and/or famous were able to. Trish being the #1 talk radio host in New York it would have been probably easy for her, and if she ever had to use it, she will be in less trouble if it was legally attained, but it's a tv show so those type of consequences don't matter

Just for future education: The gun Trish got (I'm not really a gun guy so I could be wrong) is likely a double-action revolver. Which means as you pull the trigger, it will cock the hammer on its own as well as fire it. So a singular trigger pull will fire the gun without the need to ever touch the hammer yourself. Double-actions were invented back in the late 1880s so I assume most revolvers today use that tech. Cocking the hammer manually just makes it so pulling the trigger to fire is quicker and uses less effort since half of the job is already done. That, and it's more cinematic to show the audience "I'm REALLY ready to use this thing!!" Sort of like racking a shotgun more than once (which just wastes an unspent shell).

I'm sure you have noticed the many references to the Avengers and their battles in this series. Since these shows were handled by a different team at Marvel, it was like a one way street for mentions. The shows couldn't drop names many specifics about the Avengers/MCU, but the MCU could make more solid references to these series. Have you recognized Carrie Anne Moss yet?

Fun Fact: Car windows are not sound proof. He was stopped at a red light. Had Kilgrave not gotten in he would have just yelled and told him to open up. Regardless of the fact that his car door was somehow open while he was driving (car doors auto lock after a certain speed) and that he has a child but not childproof locks on the doors, it wouldn’t matter. He liked the car and would have done what he needed to to get in that car.

That person was not visible on Netflix. When Disney added the Defenders shows to Disney+ they for some insane reason decided to increase the brightness slightly and this is one of the consequences. At least that's what I've been led to understand.

I'm watching it on Disney+, and it's fully black on my screen. I had to pump up the brightness to crazy levels before I saw a person moving in the shadows that you were referring to. I think you may need to recalibrate your monitor/tv/projector and tweak the gamma/contrast/brightness.
