Bitwig Connect is Fun (Patreon)

In this video, I explore the Bitwig Connect 4/12 and share practical patching ideas for creative audio processing and experimentation. Whether you own external synthesizers or not, the Connect provides a versatile, hands-on workflow.

Here's what I demonstrate:

Analog Distortion Trick:

Routing digital audio out through Bitwig Connect and back in creates analog-style distortion.

Simple setup using a kick drum and hardware FX device within Bitwig.

Enhances sounds with natural clipping and overtones.

Using External Synthesizers (Moog M32 example):

Sending audio through external synth inputs to utilize analog filters and envelopes.

Triggering gates using CV signals from Bitwig.

Easy integration with semi-modular setups for expanded sound design.

Creative Feedback Loops:

Using Grid modules within Bitwig to create dynamic feedback loops.

Employing external FX pedals and analog-digital conversion for unique textures.

External FX Integration:

Routing through pedals or FX units for additional sonic character.

Encourages experimental audio workflows and exploration.

Overall, Bitwig Connect's accessible inputs and outputs inspire quick and intuitive experimentation, providing a fun, modular feel on your desk. More videos on this topic will follow soon?
