Yeah the pacing is atrocious in these early episodes, but you can tell yourself that this is easily the worst part of the arc pacing-wise, so it will only get better from here! (minus 1 exception...)

I don’t think so because the Manga did not show Luffy use his bone inflation like he does in classic Gear 3. This is a pattern sometimes I think from now on.
