The process isn't pretty hahaha... but with the right tools and a little time, the Flexi Factory Skeleton Dinos look amazing! I have had so many requests to do a tutorial :) Since I am diligently working on more Flexis, my very kind and talented wife has put together a couple short videos and supply list for those that asked. Many of the supplies can be found at local hardware and craft stores. But if you're like me and prefer to have it delivered, *Amazon has all the supplies available here: https://amzn.to/4jxfdWh ......................................................................................................... I have been painting all the prints. I truly enjoy it. I like the fact that i can print in one color

Rachel

So it's the lighting then that gives your models the colors?

Dan

I use a light booth with blue and red lights yes! Usually for the background "signature" look haha.

It would be really nice to not have the video marked for kids, as this means I can't it can't be saved to lists or commented on.

Dan

I changed the settings, thank you!

Amy T Barber

I'm liking the video. Very cool

Any pre-paint prep like primer?

Dan

Not for the stained ones. For the full hand-painted versions, I often use a filler primer and sand between 2-3 coats. Helps it all stick well. But that Vajello paint is wonderful.

I'm curious which filament you used for your underlying print before paining. I never would have thought of using wood stain, but since people use wood filler, now you've got me thinking!
