All February files will show up in your shared download folder for continued access :) **************************************************************I have been so excited about adding to the Skeleton Dinosaur Collection, and really had a lot of fun designing this character! I added detail inside the face, while also maximizing printability for a true Print-In-Place design. I also included a prehistoric stand for display :)There are several versions to choose from:- Straight with eyes- Straight with NO eyes- Curved for larger prints with eyes- Curved with NO eyes- Stand- All of the above painted for Prusa and BambuLab slicersFor folks who are using the 3mf painted files, I have changed the project format to include all the files in one project. You can delete the ones you do not want, move them around plates, and change colors. Honestly, like the T-Rex...this one looks great in a single color or transition color PLA.The early release above was printed in Polymaker Matte Muted Whiteand hand stained/painted using Acrylic paints and supplies from this LIST!!!2nd Photo has a 50% in Cookiecad Sunrise, 80% in Cookiecad Mermaid, and 110% is printed ina PLA that is no longer available by GeeeTech,Printing Tips:* 15% infill, 3 walls, .12 layer height* Great adhesion is necessary for the smaller bones, especially when  printing very small. I tested to 50% and up to 150% (I would love to see some giants of this)* I use an Elmer's disappearing purple glue stick EVERYTIME I print. I prefer working a little harder to remove models from the plate than risking failures. Safe travels and I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving Week if you are celebrating... I will be :) Happy Printing -Dan

Melissa’s Madness

Yippee!!!!!!! Your dinosaurs and skeletons are by far my best sellers. I’m so excited!!! Also, another amazing paint job 😍 Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.

Terry F.

Awesome! Already printing 2 of them! Thank you for adding this to the collection! my daughter is going to be So excited when she gets home from school!

KA Cruise

Oh man! This will be next on the printer this afternoon!

poieties

They're fantastic! I know more than one dinosaur loving child that will be thrilled to have one. Thank you!

James

I'm confused about the eyes. They don't look like they're attached to anything

Lukáš Kreissl

úžasné. ještě více variant. super práce

Dan

Haha. They are! But a no eye version too. I saw someone make the no eye version and put googly eyes in. It was hilarious :)

bigibomb

love it its great for kids that love dinos

Tabba

or some kind of branch/leaf since they're herbivores.. :)

Rackley 3D Prints

I saw you mentioned using glue in the description… I know you’re very experienced. Curious if you’ve tried the windex method… Completely changed my life! Using the cool plate then apply a thin film of windex and let the bed dry it. Sticks like crazy then releases perfectly when cooled. I run it about 45° or so. Completely solved all my adhesion issues. Awesome designs by the way!

Tyler

Awesome would love to see a hinged jaw though

Dan

I did not want to sacrifice the character and personality of this model. As an artist, it's always a balance between the technical side and the design.

Dan

I have not heard of the Windex method. Appreciate the information, and I will definitely try it.

Brandon Meza

My son loves pterodactyls Please please do one?

Carolee Hawkins

I am excited for this! I will be printing it first thing december 1st. I am currently printing a bunch of gnomes for a chrismast booth. I absolutely love the design. Do you plan more dinos in the future?

Carolee Hawkins

I was wondering how to get things to stick better. I scratched my plate when I printed the first time because my leveling was way off!

Jason

You cant go wrong with dinosaurs. Everyone seems to love them.

John Rigirozzi

I am printing one out right now in a light blue at 175% I'll try and post a picture when it is done. Thank you for your awesome work. I love all the models. Print them out as soon as they are uploaded.

Marti Reusch

Working on one at 265% scale! How small have you tested them?

Dan

I sure would like to, yes

Mr James

I have one printing in sunlu's light wood color can't wait to get home and see how it turned out. I did the T-Rex the same way and I just love it

Mike Meyer

I have a Sovol SV05 and have struggled to get successful prints using your methods (printer settings above) I have been losing cohesion mid-way through the print. this doesnt happen on my prusa mini, however

Misty Thompson

Does this have a stand yet? Can't wait to print already love the T-Rex!

bigibomb

ive had a few issues as well with the head angles not cooling properly and it get knocked off the plate ive solved it by slowing it down while printing that particular part

Deborah Ortiz

As an Artist, your mind is amazing! I am floored by the quality of your work.

Kim.e.kristoffersen

Not sure if you see the message or if you want to have ideas from people. but here I come with a wish since I have children who ask for things I cannot make myself. dinosaur head clothes hangers. a bit like those who sell headset dinohead hooks, only smaller editions for children. I have some in three if you want an example. animal heads in general

Dan

I do read all the messages. Thank you for the suggestion.

Dan

Yes. It's in the post above :)

Dan

I use the settings as a baseline for testing, but you would need to make adjustments based on your material and machine. Good adhesion is always necessary though, and the thing I have found to consistently work is the purple glue stick.

Todd Coello

I like the Dinosaur Collection, I am not sure but have you every done a woolly mammoth skeleton and regulars? that would be cool.

Dan

I have not yet. On my list!

Misty Thompson

Thanks apparently a late night makes me can't see lol Excited to print this

Mike Meyer

What is your print speed?

James

If you're taking "requests", i think you could brilliantly do a really wonky shoebill stork.

lukeglavan

do you test most of your files down to 50 %

Michie Makes

Would you be able to do a raptor?, my kids love these flexi dinosaurs

Russell Hodges

Look forward to printing this when I get home next week.

Marti Reusch

Another vote for skelly Stegosaurus please!! I already have customers requesting. These are a best seller, no joke, I had a lady order 10 within minutes of you releasing this once I told her it was available to print

Misty Thompson

I sold this as soon as my show opened on Sunday! Printing a ton more for the next show, sold all my T-rexes!

neil pelling

I would love if you could do a series of the dinosaurs these are amazing

KA Cruise

Second on dinos!

Printopia TX

I love this!!!! Any chance of getting one where the mouth moves??

Dan

Not for this one. I did answer this below too, but I did not want to sacrifice the character design to make the mouth movable. As an artist, I have to balance the technical and creative aspects of every model.

Dan

I do have 3 dinos and 2 skeleton dinos :)

Printopia TX

That makes total sense. You are the ar-teest! We shall just continue to love what you put out. Thanks!

Paul Simister

Is it still possible to get the older dinosaur stands?

Dan

The dinosaur stands were Exclusive models, so unfortunately those are not available.

Paul Simister

Ah ok. Never mind. Is there a scale that the skeleton bases can be printed at that fits?

Dan

I have not worked through scaling them to match, but you may want to try the discord. Lots of folks on there to troubleshoot. the skeleton bases are different (I am sure you noticed and that is why you are asking). Narrower due to the bones.

Paul Simister

Yeah, it's OK. Just need something to think about to stop from kicking myself for not signing up sooner ;)

Joseph Hernandez

These are so dope! I just started 3d printing! Glad I joined🙏🏼

Jlperry101889

Amazing!!!! The skeleton dinos are by far my favorite. Please please do a stegosaurus.

Philippe Mayné

Just too bad that the mouth doesn’t open like trex

Dan

Couldn't make the character and mechanism work together to print correctly.

Tim Belton

Is this slightly different than the other tri you had a year ago?

Dan

It is a completely different model. The other was not a skeleton.

Tim Belton

It sure is, I need to get my eyes checked lol. Beautiful work as always!

Mick

where is the discount code for the previous models?

Dan

The collaborations tab at the top of the page is the easiest way to get to it. Just click that and you will see the 40% off post there. But it's also just a few posts down if you scroll.

3DDevil

I need to complete my skeleton dinosaur. Where can I find this if I just joined? I paid for a year but cannot find a lot of files.

Dan

You can message me regarding any files that you were looking for, but prior to joining there was a link that showed you what is available for the month you join and what is unavailable in terms of past exclusives. All of the files you have access to for the month are in March downloads in the collections tab at the top of the page or in the March download post. If you are not seeing what you're looking for try the 40% off discount post. That will take you to my older public releases that you can purchase with the 40% off discount. There's also a bonus post and that contains all of the files for Members Only.

Chris Frisbie

I joined March 1st, how can I get this since I was a day late.

Dan

If the public releases are not available the month you join, I offer 40% off with a discount. That can be found in the collections tab at the top of the page.

Dan

No supports ever needed :)

Gabi1sia

I bought on mini factory but the file is empty :( what can i do to get the file with model?

SHARKL1E

How can I buy this file? Is there still a disccount code?

Cassandra Anderson

If you have adhesion issues, use hair spray to help. Doesn't require as much cleaning and doesn't make the bottom of the prints tacky.

Dan

As a member you receive 40% off all my older public releases. The code can be found in the collections tab, top of the page under discounts.

Angela

Where can I find the badge? I am a member

Dan

Collections tab at the top of the page and the pinned post. Under Seller Info :)

Angela

Thank you!

Angela

Found it!

Tony Swick

I'm a recent member, can I buy this model?

Megan

can i get this still?

Anthony Maxwell

i found this and another print at cracker barrel this legal?
