I was seven rows from the back of the upper deck and you could hear Drew, GUNTHA and Sheanus beating the crap out of each other from there. My wife got us tickets on the heels of the then red hot Bloodline angle and fell in love with Drew McIntyre (I hear Scottish women do this) and was slightly ticked off he lost while I was on my feet trying to get other people to stand and applaud Der Ring General. Not just one of my favorite WrestleMania matches and moments, but a life highlight.

The Dom debate was so interesting despite the lil bit of tension there. I think both sides are totally right, he's had a very solid year and it's been enjoyable but they really haven't tested him as a babyface besides in AAA. It's a missed opportunity because he can easily be an effective tweener.

Outside of Undertaker matches, I think I have Gunther vs Sheamus vs Drew as my favourite wrestlemania match of all time, it was so so good. Maybe a fun Patreon list could be all 3 of you list your personal favourite wrestlemania matches of all time, just so you can argue over who objectively subjectively in all metrics has the best favourite mania match ever

In defense of Gunther/Zayn at WM 40...this is the match I would show someone if they asked me why I love wrestling. It's a perfectly told underdog story that epitomizes good professional wrestling storytelling. I get the point about whether or not Zayn was the right character for that story, but if you didn't know anything about these characters going into the match, what they presented here would make 100% perfect sense. Savage/Steamboat is like the movie "The Seven Samurai." It doesn't feel like a big deal because every spot in that match has been ripped off by *everyone* since it came out, but there's also a reason it's been ripped off.

Would genuinely love a best and/or worst TNA matches one. Both would be amazing and if it could be the trio of Luke, Oli and Sully that would be amazing because I love how Sully always reacts to the silliness that is mid 2000s TNA

Dom had victories over AJ Styles and John Cena on PPV later that year, was doing all the great Eddie spots in the matches with Rusev and Penta, had some great stuff on AAA with him winning the Mega-Championship. Completely get he could have done more but he had a really good 2025!
