Once again, thank you so very much for reacting to this episode. Even if only people on Patreon see it, it just has such an important message that people need to see. PS - Elijah, let Mosco clean your desk!

Yeah, this show is very fun and very sweet. Loved hearing your thoughts on it. But of course Disney couldn't handle something this queer. And Black, for that matter.

Serinthia Kelberry

No!! She must let Mosco clean!! (Says the woman whose desk is also cluttered... 0_0 )

(Copying my comment from Mosco's Patreon) Thank you for reacting to this! Like you said, this is important media. The representation, the symbolism, the messaging, just... spot on. That their rules lock trans people out of, well, life. The constantly shifting goal posts. And the younger generation stepping up to show their support and acceptance. This was beautifully written and terribly clever in its execution. If you're considering continuing the series (just watching or reacting) I think you'd have fun with it! The stylized action sequences are killer and the soundtrack is incredible (beware of the copyright strikes). Legit, look up the full version of the show's theme song; "Moon Girl Magic" by Diamond White. Incredibly catchy. A true banger of a theme song. Trust me Elijah, there's far worse characters to be compared to than Casey Calderon! She is Moongirl's (Lunella. Yes. The girl with the glasses.) "girl in the chair", as it were. Exudes positivity, high energy, tech savvy, capable, a social media maven, and Lunella's best friend. I think you'd love her. Mosco, I think you need to set up one of those "___ Days since" signs for how long it's been since Elijah cleaned her desk.

Okay, you guys totally caught me off guard with this one.

Matthew Dunne

I really need to get back to this show.

Sonicblue21

PLEASE Tell me you plan to react to this show next Elijah!? It is the perfect show to get by. Please, Please, PLEEEEEEEEEEASE!

Jasmine King

I thInk this is the first Marvel media I've seen here. I was super excited 😄

Ryan

Elijah should make the $10k stretch goal for the Trevor Project Truth or Dare Livestream to let Mosco clean her desk. Everybody wins!

Rupert Anderson Jr

This was a fantastic episode, I loved your commentary and reaction. Its a real shame that this episode was cut because the higher ups at Disney are such cowards. More people need to see this episode and the whole show. By the way, I agree with Moscoe, your desk is crying for help and is begging to be cleaned.

Gabi

Elijah, let Mosco clean and tidy and organize your desk. It is most definitely a cry for help 😅

To clarify, the "water engineer" is the titular character Moon Girl. This is very much more a Brooklyn episode than a Moon Girl episode (nothing wrong with that). Moon Girl, aka Lunella's "powers" are that she's a super genius who invents stuff including the portal that allowed her to meet Devil Dinosaur. Cheerleader girl is Lunella's best friend Casey who is also her superhero publicity manager and in on her secret identity hence why she had Devil Dinosaur's phone number. Casey is a Jewish Latina. Brooklyn I believe is Afro-Latina but I'm not certain. The exposition guy is a 4th wall breaking reality warper called the Beyonder who's a recurring character/exposition tool.
